(I am sending these early due to me only being rested enough right now to send them)
It’s becoming a semi regular occurrence to see Kyoko in Shizuoka. Usually she’s hanging out with Reika but today- she wanted to pay a visit to her favorite gang leader!
“Sakura-san!!! I got you something!” She cheerfully exclaimes “I just so happened to be in town so I thought I’d drop them off before I head home.”
She pulls three things out of her bag.
Tailored suits from Himari- Hand made, with hours and hours of stitches and a few crying fits in between making them. The material is smooth and soft- the seems give a golden glow.
“Hii-chan spent alot of time on these! She’s a bit busy fighting off a fever that…I’m kinda responsible for” she laughs nervously “I actually had to pick up some medicine earlier for her today so she’s resting now”
A bouquet of roses from Rinko! There’s a lot of them! How did Kyoko fit it into her bag? There’s also a diamond bracelet.
“This last ones from me”
Kyoko hands you a fox plushie, it’s holding a twig with Sakura flowers on it.
Sakura raised her head from where she was looking over some reports when she heard Kyoko enter her office. Normally Sakura would punish anyone who entered her office like Kyoko just did but Sakura didn't have the heart to even scold the shrine maiden who greatly remind her of Reika. Whether or not that was a good thing was still up in the air. Her men thought differently as many seemed to think Reika was the daughter of the devil himself. Sakura couldn't help but wonder if that statement held any truth. Reika had to have gotten her personality from somewhere.
“Hello Kyoko,” Sakura greeted.  “I take it you're here to give me a gift?” Seeing the shrine maiden nod Sakura sighed. “Well, they can't be any worse than Kanon’s and Reika’s gifts.”
Sakura always had trouble finding clothes. Her height, figure, and sizable bust made it nearly impossible to shop in the woman’s section. So she was grateful to Himari for making her several suits that would fit. Sakura made a mental note to give Himari a large tip on her next visit to her shop.
Roses weren't things Sakura received often people were more inclined to give her the flowers she was named for. So roses were a nice surprise even if they were more Reika’s thing. Sometimes Sakura couldn't help but wonder what went through her mother's head naming her after cherry blossoms. A flower that was the opposite of everything she was. Even then Sakura could never bring herself to hate her name, one of the few gifts she had left of a mother she barely remembered.  Sakura blinked at the diamond bracelet. She hadn't expected that from Rinko. It was quite nice too. Sakura didn't often wear jewelry but she had a nice collection. Although it paled in comparison to Reika’s own collection.
It was Kyoko’s gift that made Sakura pause. How long has it been since she had been gifted a plush? Not since she was an extremely young girl. Her stepmother would've burned any plush she had to ash. Oh, how Sakura hated that woman who robbed her of her mother, her childhood, and her chance at a normal life. People forget that she was Sakura Amamiya before she was Sakura Kito.  Sakura shook her head no need to think of things better buried in the past. She placed the plush at the edge of her desk. Sakura dared anyone to tell her anything. It would be the last thing they would ever do.

The day was finally coming to an end in Miyazaki. Himari Asami was in her home spending her birthday relaxing. That's why it came as a surprise when she heard the front door ring. Walking over she opened the door to reveal a sharply dressed man with several scars across their face.
“Ms. Asami.” the man answers holding out and giving Himari several packages before nodding his head and leaving. Back inside, Himari walked over to the kitchen cursing at how heavy one of the packages was before placing the item on the counter.
Wondering who could have sent her all these gifts Himiari grabbed the heaviest present first and began to open it.
Inside was a brand-new white and blue sewing machine. There were also several bolts of expensive fabrics and a spool of gold-colored thread. Pulling everything out, she found a letter attached to the machine.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Dear Asami,
When I hear it was my favorite seamstress's birthday I knew I had to get you something. Alongside the brand-new machine, I got you several bolts of some of the harder to obtain fabrics like silk and a spool with thread made out of genuine 24k gold. I hope you are able to put them to good use with your clients.
From,
Reika Aichi”
Giving a smile at the socialite’s gift Himari turned to the closest package and began opening it.
Tumblr media
Opening the gift reveals a bottle of expensive cherry blossom flavored sake. Hanging from the bottle was a note plucking it Himari began to read it.
“Dear Asami,
Happy Birthday.  I hope you enjoy the sake it was made in one of my personal breweries. The Kito produce and sell (legally mind you) sake all throughout Japan as one of our more legal ways to make a profit. This sake is a limited edition and is only sold during the Hanami season while watching the cherry blossoms bloom. Hope both you and your teammates can enjoy it.
Signed,
Sakura Kito
Head of the Kito-gumi”
Placing the bottle down Himari picked up the last gift and began to open it.
Tumblr media
Opening the final gift reveals a chocolate cake. Chocolate swirls decorated the cake alongside the words Happy Birthday written on it. It smelled wonderful and seeing a note on top Himari picked it up beginning to read.
“Asami,
Happy Birthday. While I am personally not a fan of such frivolous celebrations. I suppose I must congratulate you on another year in this unstoppable marching of time that is slowly guiding us all toward an inevitable death. Take this cake as my appreciation for the many times you have repaired my lab coat.
Signed,
Dr. Kanon Hojo”
“Dr. Hojo can bake?”
Those were the first words that came out of her mouth upon looking at the box Kanon had sent her.
Don’t get her wrong- she loved the gifts! It just shocked her that Kanon could bake!
With gentle hands she picked up the thread from the box Reika had sent her. Spending money on this was probably chump change to someone like her- still it warmed her heart to see that one of her favorite clients would send her this. As for the machine- it was perfect timing considering Kyoko somehow managed to absolutely wreck her old one this afternoon after some…rather aggressive attempts at stitching her kimono back up after one of her boy toys got…aggressive.
Seeing the Sake she couldn’t help but smile.
“Kyoko! Rinko!” She shouts.
“What’s up Mari”
Himari holds up the bottle of alcohol
“How about some celebration- our friends from Shizuoka sent some presents for my birthday”

Chinami's Thoughts on Miyazaki Division
Tumblr media
Himari Asami
The world was filled with so many interesting and unique individuals. Probably the most fascinating place in all of the world would have to be right here in Japan. Chinami wondered if it was fate that brought everyone involved with the D.R.B. together. She didn't know, but she couldn't deny that they, like everyone else in the world, had their own stories to tell. She felt like reading a few of them. And what better stories to read than one of the newer divisions to spring up, Miyazaki Division?
"Asami Himari."
Sitting down and speaking the name aloud in her crystal ball, the diviner watched as her orbuculum began playing out images of the Miyazaki Division leader's life. The scene begins by showing a young teenage girl with blonde hair standing in front of a judge in a courtroom. She is wearing an orange jumpsuit and her hands are behind her back, held together with handcuffs. She has a scowl on her face as she listens to the judge hand out her sentencing. She didn't care to listen.
She knew what was going to happen to her. She would spend some time behind bars. She didn't care. That bastard she assaulted had it coming, and she'd gladly do it again. He tried to con her, and nobody does that! No one. She is snapped out of her thoughts as the judge's gavel comes down. She scoffs as she is led out of the courtroom by an officer. The scene then ends.
The scene changes showing the girl from before, though she is a few years older. She is sitting inside a jail cell on a bench, staring at the wall, an amalgamation of different emotions is seen on her face. Anger, sadness, fury, melancholy, and everything else are displayed. She told herself after the last time she was put in jail that she'd never see the inside of a cell again. That she would be like some dog or pet in a freakin' animal shelter. But it was impossible to tell what the future holds. And hey, unlike the previous times when she was arrested, this one she was particularly proud of. Why? Because it proved just how selfless she was.
Two men had been harassing the younger sister of one of her closest friends. She wanted to do the right thing, so she tried going to the police first. But they wouldn't pay attention to her because of her record. They assumed she was just lying or making up stories. So, she did what she always did: she took matters into her own hands. She personally paid those two men a visit, and then... well, let's just say she taught them a lesson they'd keep with them for the rest of their lives. Both in this life and the next. Thinking back on it, the young woman couldn't help but laugh at the shock on their faces. She gave a chuckle as she laid down on the bench, resuming her staring of the small room around her as the scene ends.
The scene opens showing the city of Kyoto on a dark, stormy afternoon. Rain is pouring by the dozens, and there is no one out on the streets right now. ...Well, except for one person. Both them and their entire outfit are completely soaked on account of the rain. Yet, for some reason, the individual pays no attention to that. Their vision is obscured on account of the face being hidden by the hood of their jacket. They continue walking, lumbering towards their destination, wherever that may be. They continue walking until they finally stop at a certain house. Walking up to the house, they ring the doorbell and wait patiently until a young brown-haired girl answers the door. The individual slowly lifts their head revealing a familiar blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman. The girl seems to recognize the woman and lets her in, unaware of the danger she is putting herself and everyone else in the house in. The scene ends as the door to the house closes.
The scene opens showing the young woman from before now a few years older. She is wearing a familiar orange jumpsuit and has handcuffs on her wrists again. She is currently being held by two police officers as they lead her down a long corridor. The woman doesn't fight them. In fact, she doesn't do anything. Her eyes, though hidden from view, were bloodshot and red. She had committed the gravest of sins. And now... now she was going to pay for them. She didn't know if God existed or not. But if so, she was going to meet Him. And there was no doubt in her mind that as soon as He looked at her, He was going to probably press a button or pull a switch, dropping her from the cloud she was standing on, and look sorrowfully as she plummeted into the deepest, darkest parts of Hell.
The guards continued leading her down the hall, and the door they were heading for seemed to transform, instead leading to some steps that lead up to a guillotine, all primed and ready for someone's head to be firmly separated from their neck. It was a fitting imagery, especially as the three people managed to reach the door. As one held on tightly to the woman, the other unlocked the door, opening it. Continuing their short journey, the three arrived in a small courtyard where the death penalty awaited, the gallows. The Final Destination.
Leading the woman up the stairs to the scaffolding, they placed the woman onto a certain spot, tied a noose around her neck, and placed a white bag over her head. She listened as a priest began speaking the Scripture to her while a court official began listing off her crimes. After he was done, a five-second countdown began. How fitting that her life would be measured in a matter of seconds. As the timer hit '1', she mentally prepared herself to feel herself gasp for lungs of air. She waited... and waited... and waited...
...But nothing ever occurred.
Confused, she soon felt the noose around her neck and the bag on her head removed. As her vision returned, she looked up and was shocked to see a group of Chuohku officials standing before her. The scene then ends.
The scene changes once more, showing the female in her current form sitting in a chair, sewing a piece of fabric. Beside her was a clay statue that had an unfinished dress on it. She smiled as the masterpiece she was working on was nearing completion. But it wasn't just the dress. It was just... life in general. Days like these made it very easy to just forget everything.
...Of course, just because you forget something, doesn't mean that it will go away. In the back of her mind, the young woman knows that she is still guilty and in danger. All her life, she's lived by her own rules. But now... now she must play by someone else's. When the time comes and she must make a choice, will she continue to be an obedient pet? Or will she make a choice that will be her own, but will end her existence?
Rinko Yamate
"Yamate Rinko."
The scene on the crystal ball plays out showing a young girl of six or seven standing in what looked like a living room in a large house. In her hands was one of the greatest stringed instruments ever to be invented: the violin. In front of her was a much older woman who was holding onto a baton. Tapping it on her stand, she got the young girl's attention and instructed her to get ready. Nodding, the young girl positioned herself, placing the instrument beneath her chin. Exhaling, she then began using her bow on her violin, producing a beautiful melody, which was "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" by the German musician and composer, Johann Sebastian Bach. Her eyes are closed as her teacher nods her head, using her baton to guide the young girl. The scene ends as she continues playing.
A new scene opens showing the girl from before. She is a few years older and is wearing an expensive formal dress. She is standing behind a stage curtain, currently sweating as she is filled with anxiety. Even from her place backstage, she could still hear the murmurs of hundreds of people sitting down in the theater seats. Tonight was a very important night as this was her first national tryout. She was going to be judged not only by the people in attendance but also by a special committee that would be watching and judging her closely. She was knocked out of her thoughts as she was told that her turn was approaching. Nodding, the young teenager grabbed her violin and bow as she prepared to step on stage.
As she did, she was momentarily blinded by the bright lights of the auditorium. Walking to the middle of the stage, she could feel thousands and thousands of eyes watching her. She swallowed a lump in her throat as she vaguely tuned on what the announcer was saying. Her eyes scanned the crowd; everyone was a stranger, or someone she had probably met but couldn't recall. But a pair of familiar faces seemed to pop out at her. Her parents, who were smiling at her, as well as the face of a close friend of hers who gave her a goofy grin with a thumbs-up. Feeling the butterflies from her stomach disappeared, the young teen smiled, took a deep breath, and placed her stringed instrument in its proper place on her shoulder. The scene ends as the girl plays the beginning notes of the Irish folk tune, "Sí Bheag, Sí Mhór".
The scene opens up showing a large, spacious bedroom in a mansion. The wall is filled with a variety of posters and pictures. Some are of anime characters from various shows, some are of known and unknown quotes, some are of musical pieces, and some are of famous figures. The room is truly a good place to live. There's just one problem: aside from the wall, everything about the room is in complete disarray. There are clothes scattered everywhere, empty food and drink containers, dirty Kleenex papers, and much else. Who is the cause of all this disorder, however?
The answer: a familiar-looking young female who is seated on a large white bed, though she is now older. She appears to be comatose, as she is staring out at nothing. A scar from a bullet is on the upper part of her chest. She hates it. Why? Because it bears a reminder of the terrible and traumatic ordeal that she was forced through. It's only been a month since then, but it feels like just yesterday. Beaten and held against her will by a man who held her and her friend at gunpoint. ...Her friend...
Thinking back on the woman who had been her best supporter for a number of years, the girl found herself tearing up again. She tried to stop herself to cause herself to forget the memory. But it just wouldn't go away. A violin, situated in the corner of the room, along with its bow, served as a reminder. Finally, the floodgates opened and the girl continued her familiar ritual of letting her tears fall freely from her eyes and down her face. The scene ends as she curls up in her bed.
The scene opens showing the woman in her current form as she is once again on stage, playing her violin. This was the first concert in over six years, and to no surprise to anyone, the stadium was packed as many people had bought tickets to attend this event. The girl continued her playing, an orchestra assisting her from behind, though they were merely side characters in this great display. Though the memory of her friend's departure is never far from her mind, the young woman still finds comfort in the memories she had before her sudden exit from this world.
...But as nice as memories are, that is all they are. They cannot be anything more than pictures in one's mind that they shift through, like an album. And sometimes, the bad memories are at the forefront of one's mind. With that being said, can the young woman ever move past the event? Will she be able to truly live a life worthy of her friend? Or is her entire existence to be spent jumping and shying away from strange figures all her life every time she walks down a street?
Kyoko Maruyama
"Maruyama Kyoko."
The crystal ball adheres to the name, and begins by playing out a scene of a young girl who is no more than four or five. She is trailing behind two older girls with similar features to her. She follows them a short distance until they all arrive at their destination: a botanical garden. The young girl's face is alight as she takes in the sights of the natural wonder. It was astonishing how, despite how much humanity puts effort into destroying things, they were also able to create miracles such as this. Looking up, the girl happily took the older women's hands as they led her deeper into the garden. The scene then ends.
The scene opens up showing the girl from before several years older. She is shown sweeping the steps of an ancient shrine that was still very well-maintained. After accepting her grandparents' offer to work in their family shrine, the young girl began training as a miko, a shrine priestess. She's nowhere near finishing her training, but she enjoys it well enough. She doesn't know why, but there is a sense of peace at this shrine that she experiences here that she can't feel anywhere else. She hasn't felt this way since she was a child, playing with her older sisters. The young woman looks up as an elderly woman calls for her from inside the shrine. She nods with a smile, sets her broom off to the side, and walks inside to continue her training. The scene ends shortly after.
A new scene appears, showing the shrine priestess, though she is a few years older. However, the serenity and pleasantness that made her who she is, is now gone. It is replaced by feelings of anxiety and despair with a pinch of worthlessness added to the mix. She is walking home to her grandparents' house after having another... surprise meeting with her boyfriend. She was grateful it didn't last long. Usually, the... discipline he administered to her was a lot more... permanent. But these... rubbing the bruises on her arms, these should heal quickly enough, right? And if anyone asked, she could just give her usual response: she fell. It always worked.
Returning to the house, she unlocked the front entrance and entered into her adobe. She was expecting to see smiling faces as she walked in and headed for the family room. But... what she saw instead was the frowns and serious faces of her older sisters and the matriarch of the household, her grandmother. She looked shocked as her older sister suddenly grabbed her right wrist and pulled down her sleeve. She looked as her sisters' eyes grew wide at the bruises and marks on her arms. The priestess looked at her older sister's face, and then looked as the older woman rushed past her, shocking her. Running past, she looked as the woman had already jumped into her car, started the engine, and drove off somewhere. The priestess could only watch as the car disappeared. The scene ended as the priestess's heart was filled with worry and trepidation.
The scene opens showing the woman in her current form. She is sitting on her legs in her priestess uniform as sakura petals flow in the wind. Her eyes are closed as she is meditating. Suddenly, she feels something land in her lap and looks as it is her pet fox. She smiles and picks up the small mammal whose tail is wagging happily. She seems a lot happier since the last time she was seen. And though it took a while, she has managed to heal from the trauma she has experienced.
...But has she really? Though physical wounds heal, mental wounds are still fresh, no matter how much time has passed. Will the priestess be able to rely on her faith to forgive and forget her past? Or will the wounds inflicted upon her by her tormentor continue to have a firm grip on her forever?
Beautiful Nightmare
"Ommmm..."
Humming softly to herself, the diviner lets her hands search for the correct tarot cards to reveal as she attempts to divine the fates of Miyazaki division. After several minutes, she flips three of the 78 cards over. The first is a familiar card, and it features a woman with a crown holding onto a sword and a pair of scales, upside-down (The Justice - Reversed). The second card features a woman with her head in her hands (Nine of Swords). The third card features a woman bound and blindfolded (Eight of Swords).
The crystal ball then begins playing significant moments in Beautiful Nightmare's lives. Himari rapping on stage alongside the other members of the Darling Divaz, Rinko playing on stage alongside her friend, Roka, and Kyoko finishing her training and becoming an official shrine maiden. All three women are drawn together by not only friendship, but hardship in each of their lives. However, though they are not in chains, there are still in bondage by forces much stronger than them. Will they, together, be able to break free of these bonds? Or will they collapse under the burdens they curry? Only time will tell...

Kaori's Thoughts on Miyazaki Division
Tumblr media
Himari Asami
"I don't know much about her, unfortunately. It seems that... she has had a hard time, what with being in and out of prison. ...For some reason, she seems to be a member of high priority here. I wonder why... could it have something to do with her former team, the Darling Divaz?"
Rinko Yamate
"Per Chuohku's orders, I was made to perform one of my pieces alongside this woman. Her skill with the violin was extraordinary. It reminded me much of... my father. He loved all instruments, but stringed ones were his personal favorites. I... I miss him..."
Kyoko Maruyama
"I met this young woman whilst visiting a shrine in Miyazaki. ...Truthfully, I don't know why I went to. Shrines and such... they're not exactly a place I care for much. But... I'll admit, I did feel a bit more at peace after leaving. I don't know if it was due to the place itself, or this young lady. She was nice to talk to."
Beautiful Nightmare
"I feel sorry for these young women. They all were, unfortunately, dealt a bad hand by life and to avoid being punished for forces out of their control, they must acquiesce to Chuohku's wishes by participating in the D.R.B. I sincerely hope that nothing untoward happens to them. I doubt Otome or Chuohku would care much if something did..."

Saji's Thoughts on Miyazaki Division
Tumblr media
Himari Asami
"Truthfully, I don't know much about this woman. I mean, I've heard of the Darling Divaz, and I know she helped formed the group, but other than that, I don't really know much else. It's obvious she's spent some time behind bars, though. ...To be honest, its hard not to see a little of myself in her..."
Rinko Yamate
"I think I've heard of her. She's a famous violinist, right? I heard that she stopped performing for a while due to an event that had her and her being held at gunpoint. She has my condolences. I know getting over something like that can be a very traumatic experience. Kudos to her for working to overcome it."
Kyoko Maruyama
"A shrine maiden? We don't have many of those here in Meguro. Not really a surprise. There are better places and temples you can find throughout Japan that aren't here in Meguro. She has my condolences concerning her former boyfriend. I've not been in many relationships, but domestic abuse does not sit well with me. There's no excuse for it, and nothing can justify it."
Beautiful Nightmare
"I haven't heard much from this division. Honestly, it sounds like they were just forced into this like we were. I'm looking forward to seeing what they all have, though."

Kyoko sure had a lot of confidence wandering up to Kanons lab like this. Though everyone in Miyazaki liked to think that they were on fairly decent terms with Silent Tragedy.
“Kanon-san! We got you some stuff!” Rinko was the one to call it out first.
“Though this last edition was a bit- unintentional” Kyoko giggles evilly
From Himari you received a massive box of sweets: Candies of different varieties, chocolates of all different types…it’s sure to make anyone’s mouth water. There’s also another box with a brand new white lab coat with Kanon’s name stitched into the front of it.
From Rinko you received a record: Months in advance she had this made- it was a bunch of classical music that she personally covered as well as a few of her own songs. The cover that contained the record was signed by Rinko herself.
“Your the only person who owns this specific copy” Rinko admits
From Kyoko you received a huge cake: Somewhat similar to the one you gave Himari for her birthday!
“I heard from sis that you don’t see the point in birthday’s but we couldn’t help but get some gifts together- however Himari and I are sorry this next gift is a little bit…busted”
Himari seems to be carrying a large- human shaped bag?! Apparently she managed to fit a grown man in a bag normally reserved for dresses!
“I’ve gotten everything i need from him- his money is already going to the charity that sis runs” she snickers “He HATES charities that help women- but that’s besides the fact! I figured you could get more use out of him than I could- i hope he makes a good test subject!”
“Sorry his jaws broken- he came after Kyoko and I couldn’t help myself” Himari shrugs
Kanon sighed in irritation at the sound of the alarm signaling that someone had stepped onto her property, upon checking the security cameras, and seeing that the ladies from  Miyazaki were there, she was quick to turn off her more dangerous security measures. Kanon paused her latest work on her project and made her way to the entrance of her lab.
“I take it your here because it's my birthday?” Kanon asked and sighed again when they held out their gifts.  “Fine, what did you get me?”
Even if she didn't show it outwardly Himari’s gift was one she greatly appreciated. It was sure to last her for a while at least. Chocolate was one of the few things left that she was still able to stomach. The lab coat was a nice gift as well god knows how many times Kanon has destroyed her other coats during her experiments. She mentally made a note not to damage it too much at least.
Kanon had always been a fan of Rinko’s work so she knew that her gift would be playing on repeat for the next few days. Anything to drown out the voices that constantly tormented her. The fact that Rinko had personally recorded it for her made Kanon feel a bit happy on the inside.
The moment Kanon saw Kyoko’s cake she knew that she would have to hide it because Reika and Sakura would have a conniption if they knew how much sugar she was gonna eat. At least she was eating something that was becoming harder and harder for her to do with every passing day.
Kanon couldn't help the mad laughter that came out of her mouth when she saw Miyazaki’s final gift for her. Oh yes, she now remembered why Miyazaki was one of the few divisions she liked. She had been just about to call Sakura to see if she had anybody but with Miyazaki’s thoughtful gift it looked like she wouldn’t need to.
“HAHAHA! Why aren't you girls so thoughtful? Don't worry you three he’s in good hands with me. HAHAHA!”

There’s an visitor at your doorstep- a very tired shrine maiden arrives bundled up in several blankets to help try and ward off the chill outside.
She’s half asleep when you answer the door.
“Happy birthday!”
She’s holding several gifts in her hands, all with fairly decorative wrapping paper.
From Himari you received several hand made gowns- these took her literally months to make. All tailored to fit Reika perfectly thanks to Himaris previous experience fixing Reikas old clothes. Perfect for a night out on the town- or for a night spent indoors killing your husband.
There’s also a note
“If needed I do dry cleaning- you’re already one of my priority customers so just give me a call. Happy birthday Reika-san!” - MARI
From Rinko you received a few expensive looking bottles of wine, some cheese and some sweets.
There’s also a note
“I didn’t know what to get you- im sorry if these seem a little bit informal. Happy birthday Reika-san” - Rinko
From Kyoko you received some jewelry.
“The locket is normal I promise- see”
Inside the locket is a picture of Kyoko and Reika- it was took the last time Kyoko was in Shizuoka.
Additionally there’s another necklace with a small bottle and a bracelet that has a secret place to hide poison.
“Happy birthday big sis Reika- I mean miss reika…oh who am i kidding it’s no secret” Kyoko giggles “Yeah…i see you like a big sister”
Reika raised an eyebrow. A visitor? Few people ever willingly visited her for good reason. Opening the door Reika smiled brightly at the young girl on the other side. “Kyoko!” Reika greeted happily at the sight of the shrine maiden. Ushering the girl inside and away from the cold. “I wasn't expecting you.”
Gingerly taking the gifts from her, she took a moment to admire all of them before setting them down on the nearby table.
Picking up one of the gowns from Himari, Reika had no doubt that they would fit her perfectly. She expected nothing else from the blonde-haired woman. Placing the stunning gown against her Reika couldn't help but give a little twirl. Unable to hold her laugh as she watched the gown twirl around with her.
Gently placing the gown down, she made a mental note to properly thank Himari for the gift.
Moving on to Rinko’s gift, Reika gave a huge smile as she saw the assortment of goodies. Never one to deny her love of food she had spent one too many nights as a child going to bed hungry for that although she made a note to hide the sweets, especially from Kanon. That woman as much as she would never say it had a sweet tooth stronger than some of the children Reika knew. Oh well, Kanon wasn't getting any part of her gift anytime soon.
Setting the gift down with a smile, she went on to the next and last present.
Reika reconzed the photo. It had been taken in her garden where she had been teaching Kyoko some of the tricks of her “trade”. Looking at the other jewelry Reika’s grin could be only described as snake-like as she thought about which poisons would be perfect for the hidden compartment.
Setting the collection down, Reika turned to the younger girl and gave her a smile. “Thank you for the presents, Kyoko,” It was then that Reika paused at what Kyoko had called her. She was quick to wrap the shrine maiden in a hug. “I don’t mind that you call me big sis,” Reika assured her patting her head.
“Now why don’t you stay for a while, and rest up for a bit, I’ll call Himari and tell her where you are. I have some tea that you might enjoy.”
Thank you for the gift!

Kira's Thoughts on Miyazaki Division
Tumblr media
Himari Asami
Kira looks at the photo of the Miyazaki Division leader, and sighs. "I personally know Himari. I have to deal with her, both inside and outside of Chuohku. The Prime Minister put me in charge of monitoring her process and to make sure she isn't doing anything... illegal. Truthfully, I'm a bit surprised that Otome-sama put me in charge of her. I guess it was due to the fact that I'm already her parole officer. Yup, I'm assigned to visit her once every two weeks to see how she's doing."
"I can tell she doesn't like me. I don't know if it's cause I'm a cop, or cause I work for Chuohku. I don't blame her, really. But still, as much as I pity her situation, that doesn't mean I'm going to be merciful to her. She's still a criminal, and I have no sympathy for criminals."
Rinko Yamate
"I know Rinko 'cause I was the one assigned to her case, along with Kisouna-san. We both were ordered to search for the guy who kidnapped her and her friend, Roka Minami. Luckily, it didn't take long as we thought. The bastard had no defense, and we took great pleasure in hearing the judge give him life with no possible chance of parole. I often see her at the shrine Chinami and I visit. She's a good woman. Here's hoping she's doing better now that that piece of shit who hurt her is behind bars."
Kyoko Maruyama
Kira sighs at the photo of Kyoko. "Kyoko is a nice woman and a good priestess, but I can tell she doesn't really like me, like Himari. Why? Because I was forced to arrest her oldest sister after she assaulted the bastard who was abusing Kyoko. I didn't want to do it, but if I didn't, then they just would have sent another cop to do it. Still, I did everything I could to see that she was released considering she was simply protecting her sister. Truthfully, I can understand her and I agree with her decision. If anyone did the same thing to either of my sisters, I would have done the same thing." Kira sighs again.
"It's times like this I wish the law would hurry up and catch up to science already..."
Beautiful Nightmare
"These women... they're just like every other team in this tournament. Forced to compete against their will. Why? To either save/protect someone they care about, or because their livelihoods are at stake. So far, the Prime Minister hasn't said anything about the reports I've been turning in concerning them, for which I'm glad. I only hope she doesn't expect me to urge them into action. I'd really hate to have to face them."

Taria's Thoughts on Miyazaki Division
Tumblr media
Himari Asami
"I know her! She used to be part of the Darling Divaz! Man, those guys were awesome! I used to have a hard time picking out who was the favorite in the group. I liked them all, to be honest! I know the rumors that say she was responsible for the death of one of the members, but I don't believe it, especially if it was the so-called government that spilled that load of garbage! She has a criminal record. So what?! We've all committed a crime once in our lives! It doesn't make us any less guilty or any less innocent! People need to learn to stop being so judgmental!"
Rinko Yamate
"I'm not really into classical music, but I heard about what happened to her and her friend. Man, that shit was horrible. As much as I harp on Kira's job, I'm glad she was able to catch that dirtbag who hurt her. I hear she's back to playing again. Good on her!"
Kyoko Maruyama
"Kira and Nami often go to that shrine of hers to pray or whatever. It's a shame a pretty girl like her works as a priestess. If she didn't, I'd have invited her out for a drink or something! ...Maybe I can catch her when she's not working at the shrine. She's too cute to not say 'hi' to, at least once!"
Beautiful Nightmare
"I guess these three were forced into this stupid tournament like we were. Argh, the government has too much freaking time on their hands! ...Oh well! If we win this, maybe we can invite them all out for a drink so we can talk! I'm definitely down for getting to know more about these ladies!"

Beautiful nightmare is the representative division of Miyazaki.
The division itself consists of former death row inmate turned tailor Himari Asami, violinist Rinko Yamate and shrine maiden Kyoko Maruyama
Their symbol is a candle that has been snuffed out, this seems to be their way of showing that they plan to snuff out their opponents hopes of victory with their words.
All three members have a small pink flame on their body somewhere
Himari has it tattooed to her wrist
Rinko has it tattooed on the back of her neck
and Kyoko wears hers as a bracelet charm
Despite each members bloody pasts they all find comfort in each other, through their friendship they can find the beauty in this hellish world they live in

Our sound, our future
“Nervous?”
Rinko had been pacing back and forth for a good hour now, muttering to herself about god knows what.
“You got this don’t worry!” The other girl beams
“Y-your not gonna be there-!”
“That’s okay! I’m not performing because you beat me fair and square Rinko” Roka smiles “I will admit…it was my dream to stand and play on such a grand stage at a national level but…it’s not going to stop me from being happy for you”
“Roka…” the younger violinist began to tear up, instinctively wrapping her arms around the other girl.
“I’m so proud of you! Your gonna wow everyone out there!” Roka patted her friends reassuringly
“Yamate-san it’s time!”
Rinko let go before turning back to face a smiling Roka.
“Knock ‘em dead Rinko!”
With a nod Rinko picked up her violin before proceeding out onto the main stage.
At such a young age Rinkos music had already made waves across Japan…even beyond the borders into the world beyond.
Even after the performance she gave, even after the trophy she took home and big celebration that followed afterwards…Rinko only cared about one thing.
“Ri-chan! You were so cool up there!”
Roka was proud of her!
That was all that Rinko needed to hear.

Mei's Thoughts on Miyazaki Division
Tumblr media
Himari Asami
"A prison gal, huh? Well, looking at her record, its a wonder she doesn't call the big house her 'home away from home'. I guess joining the D.R.B. was her ticket out of staying another night in a cell? Well, let's just hope she can stay out this time, but I'm not holding my breathe that she does."
Rinko Yamate
"I think I recognize her. She's a violinist or something, right? I think Kaori did a short concert with her. I'll admit, she can play well, but seeing as I don't the nothing about playing instruments, perhaps my opinion isn't valid."
Kyoko Maruyama
"A shrine maiden? You mean like a priestess? My mother was one of those for Zhurong, the Fire Goddess of my people. Everyday, she had rituals that started at the crack of dawn. I admired her perseverance; I don't know if I could do all that she did. As such, this girl has my respect. ...She could do with some toughening up, though."
Beautiful Nightmare
"So... seeing as the Prime Minister basically let these three off the hook in exchange for competing in the D.R.B., does that mean they're technically on our side? ...Probably not. Meh, it doesn't really matter. As good as they look, I'm sure we'll have no issues against them."
