“Feeble is the man that wounds another so that he may triumph over them,” Ezekiel clapped back, narrowing his eyes at the other man, the locking of his gaze hard and unrelenting - almost challenging. He had wounded Volkhardt, weakened him so that he might manipulate and use him. Looking at the man before him now, seeing his face in person, the otherwise mild-mannered Reverend Brown was SICKENED.

“You can flex your muscles, grin maniacally and throw shallow taunts until the day of your dying breath for all I care - but you so much SCOWL at Volkhardt again and I swear on all that is Holy, there will be absolute HELL to pay!”

Kenshiro kneels before the man before him, holding the man up by the nape of his neck. It was luckily enough to support him, but it was in vein--he knew it. With the last of Ein's strength, he asks not of himself, but of his daughter. He values her, he valued the lives of others-- and he was willing to bring his own destruction for it. He had no shame, and it was his best trade.

The other's voice comes out low yet crisp.

“Lin!” Mamiya calls out, kneeling down to Lin’s height so she could better hug the child.  She chuckles at the force of the hug “I missed you too dear.”

She then takes a look around, expecting to see Ken or Bat not too far behind.  They don’t usually let Lin wander around alone.  Sure, her village was much safer with the Fang Gang gone, but it was always best to stay on guard.  Especially in this world.

“You didn’t come all this way alone, did you?” she asks, sounding slightly concerned.
