Trying our best to protect the dogs from the harsh weather!! ***If you’d like to help re-build the shelter....we have a SHELTER FUNDRAISER you can find in our linktree account in bio - GOAL: $6,000 in 60 DAYS! 🐶* Help raise money for a small, rural outdoor shelter in San Diego, South Texas. With broken fencing, no air conditioning or heating, these animals are exposed to harsh weather elements year round with nowhere to go outside of their kennels. The funds raised will go to the following: 1. FENCE - Dogs can have a place to run and play. 2. ENCLOSED KENNELS/WALLS - Dogs are currently exposed to wind, rain, snow, extreme heat and humidity, and fleas/ticks. 3. AIR CONDITIONER/HEATER - There is currently no way to help with temperatures at the outdoor shelter. 4. REPAIR BROKEN AND RUSTED KENNELS - Animals need a safe, sterile place to stay. 5. The owner reached out to the shelter because she’s in the hospital very sick for 6 weeks and has NO ONE to care for them!! She doesn’t want them to starve to death and is willing to give them up to adoption or rescue in order for them to be saved!! We our COMPLETELY MAXED TO CAPACITY at the shelter‼️. We need your help to help these babies 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼. They are covered in fleas and tics and who knows what else 😥💔. We only have enough food for our dogs/cats at the shelter for another week so we DESPERATELY need food!! 🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘😢😢😢😢 • @urgentpetsst Ryder came into the shelter yesterday. Poor baby was being shot by BB guns and kicked by kids walking to and from school 💔😡😥. This is why he doesn’t like kids. He can definitely be rehabilitated by the right Rescue!! Love and patience for this boy...he deserves a chance in life 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼!! savetexasdogs Intake: 09/16/2019 at 4:30pm Shelter ID# 09-0009-19 Name: Ryder 3 years old Male Terrier/Lab mix Location picked up: South Garcia Heights Stray hold ends: 9/18/19 Known medical issues: n/a Notes about dog: He has an agressive demeanor, he hasnt bit anyone yet but he has tried multiple times. I was dispatched out to get him because he was chasing kids as they were walking to school.
