Are Bamboo Toothbrushes Good
For what reason would it be a good idea for you to Change TO a BAMBOO TOOTHBRUSH?
Truth be told, the vast majority of all toothbrushes on the planet are produced using plastic. Also, every year, we discard north of 3 billion plastic toothbrushes that never get reused. These end up in landfill or the sea, contaminating the earth and representing an endanger to marine life. This number (north of 3 billion) worth to do a switch. Fortunately, there is a harmless to the ecosystem elective… Bamboo toothbrushes. As of now, this option is the most ideal decision for our earth for the accompanying reasons:
What is a bamboo toothbrush?
Planned in Canada and made in Vietnam with bamboo handle and nylon bristles, this eco-accommodating toothbrush is an optimal option in contrast to the plastic ones.
Why bamboo?
Bamboo is perhaps of the quickest developing plant on our planet. On the other hand, where the petrol used to make plastic is a restricted asset. Subsequent to collecting, bamboo plant will recover itself so we don't need to stress over deforestation.
It's great for our current circumstance
Produced using normal bamboo wood, the handle of the toothbrush is 100 percent biodegradable. It very well may be securely disposed of by returning it to the ground in manure or landfill. Indeed, even with non-compostable fibers, these eco-accommodating toothbrushes actually dispose of 90% of the plastic utilized in conventional toothbrush creation.
It's powerful and simple to utilize
The fibers are intended to be delicate nylon that give most extreme execution to eliminate stains, tartar and plaque from delicate teeth and gums. On the off chance that you brush appropriately, bamboo toothbrushes are as successful at cleaning your teeth as any manual toothbrush out there, without placing plastic in your mouth two times or three times each day.
A characteristic bamboo toothbrush will keep going as long as any plastic toothbrush. It's recommended you completely dry the toothbrush prior to putting away. Dental specialists prescribe supplanting your toothbrush each 2 to 90 days or when the fibers have frayed flabby.
The creation cycle is eco-accommodating.
The idea about the bamboo toothbrush is normally high quality with negligible utilization of electronic hardware while the plastic toothbrush is delivered in a manufacturing plant, which involves many machines and mechanized process to create the end result. Additionally, this handle contains no color, no ink, and definitely no compound item.
It brings otherworldly worth
These days, individuals will quite often bring nature home to adjust everything throughout everyday life. That is the justification behind the jars of blossoms in our home. Likewise, a toothbrush produced using bamboo will assist you with interfacing with nature squarely in your home. Likewise, our toothbrush permits you to tweak your name that makes you more extraordinary in everybody.

scent of the day: libre (yves saint laurent)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
libre threw me for a bit of a loop, so much so that i wanted to try it two days in a row before writing a review. when i first sprayed it on, i was kind of surprised - this is straight-up soap? like the lavender savon de marseilles i used to keep in my sock drawer, and maybe a little like the musgo real soaps from portuguese brand ach brito that the men in my family like to use. i originally wanted to try libre because people kept comparing it to replica's coffee break (which i love), and i definitely see the resemblance. libre is a coffee break where you skip the coffee altogether and just go straight to the washroom to wash your face and hands. i can almost taste the soap.
the heart and base notes are where libre really shines, once the soapiness fades. it becomes a gorgeous, slightly citrusy, coumarinic amber; to my nose, this is rather masculine, or perhaps androgynous like a woman dressed in a sharp masculine suit. definitely handsome, but a little distant; a capricorn sort of scent. it's fresher and more suitable for the hot weather we're having than coffee break, but i kind of miss the coffee a little bit. i like it, it's very much my sort of scent, but beyond that i'm still not fully sure how i feel about it, what with the soap-bomb top notes.

Femme dans son bain
Oh, généreuse nature
Qui réveille nos ardeurs
Quand le matin, lutin,
Nous arrache à la nuit
Et révèle toute la beauté
De la femme dans son bain !
Eclats de rires embués sur la vitre
Puis chanson douce sous la douche
Et au rythme d’une pluie fine
Perles d’eau cadencées
Savamment orchestrées
Pour sensualité cachée.
Que mille grâces soient rendues
Au savon de Marseille !
Reflets nacrés sur lit de mousse
Blanche, pétillante, palpitante
Sur le bourgeon d’un sein
Fruit mûr sortant de l’exil.

Note
12, 23, 29, and 30 for the asks! :)
(For 30, what is your favorite silent film and/or film noir?)
12. Brand of haircare/bodycare/skincare that you trust 100%?
- Haircare: Fine Feathers by Duck & Dry for both shampoo and conditioner (it’s a London based brand, I’m a sucker for it both because it keeps my hair really silky even when dealing with hard water and because one of the major scent notes is bergamot)
- Bodycare: Anything from Marius Fabre (especially the grenade et fleur de cerisier bar and any of the savon de marseille products)
- Skincare: Nature Republic is my go to brand, I use their hylaronic acid toner daily and try to do cleaner, toner, and moisture sleeping pack (all aqua line) every night. I also absolutely swear by the Isntree hylaronic acid watery sun gel. I hate the feel, smell, and oiliness of most sunscreens, and how they can often cause my pores to clog, but I don’t want skin cancer, so I deal with it. This stuff has absolutely none of those downsides and actually made my skin even better. Also, most importantly, it’s amazing protection. I wore it all summer, in London, Taipei, and Lisbon, and, despite constantly being out in the blazing sun, never had a burn.
23. Do you wear jewelry?
I have a FitBit I wear every day, but I very rarely wear jewelry. Being very physically active, playing a string instrument, and having a job where I handle delicate antique documents on a regular basis, it’s just a pain to constantly be taking things on and off.
29. Favorite pasta noodle?
I’m not sure I really have one. I eat noodles on a pretty regular basis (like bibim naengmyeon, which has chewy buckwheat noodles, and somen are very much a part of my diet), but it’s really rare that I would make pasta for myself at home or even have it going out.
30. Favorite silent film and/or film noir?
For film noir, I’d have to go Double Indemnity (1944), although I’m also a big fan of the Bogart films of this genre, especially The Big Sleep (1946). For silent, probably any of the Josef von Sternberg films, although I have to admit I’m a bigger fan of pre-code talkies (I love Mae West, for example) than of silent film.

my eyebrows are currently dark blue (the colour on the packet and the resulting cream is pale brown)
this morning they were half normal + half yellow
i am attempting to re-bleach this mess
all because we re-organized the bathroom and I used bar soap instead of thick cream to block out my ears and brows for hair bleaching.
did you know sleep depravation makes you allergic to things you usually tolerate fine? it's savon de marseille this week.

Sunday Snippet
I was tagged by @beardyboyzx and @larrysballetslippers to share a snippet of what I'm writing! This is for the @1daboficfest, a rough first draft, so please, forgive all the mistakes.
Louis stared at the ceiling, trying to keep laying on the bed without getting himself into a tiny shivering ball. Alphas didn’t self-soothe by curling into a ball, Alphas maintained an open stance in every moment of their life, Alphas didn’t feel the need to cry as soon as they were alone.
Louis’ patches were military grade. He’d looked long and hard for them, and paid a pretty penny for them, every two months, to get the best on the market. His scent was non-existent, pheromones suppressed completely, substituted with a vague scent of clean laundry and the other people around him. It made him stop buying scent blocker, and it was worth every penny, not having to worry about blockers wearing off when he sweated.
But, that also meant that Louis’ clothes and his linen didn’t smell like anything but the savon de Marseille he used to wash them. Didn’t give him any familiar comfort, didn’t serve any purpose at all. Meant that he would go through his life devoid of any familiar scent, in addition to familiar contact.
He got up from the bed, went to his small dresser, and opened it. Alphas didn’t self-soothe, but if Louis was silent enough, he could actually stay a bit in a dark and confined space, and no one would know.
His shoulders dropped when he was immersed in darkness. He relaxed against his winter coat, closed his eyes, and wiped out the tears that were threatening to spill.
I'm not sure if there's anyone who hasn't been tagged or hasn't shared anything, but in case, I'm tagging @imogenleefic @lunarheslwt @hellolovers13 @enchantedlandcoffee and @alwaysxlarrie
