Scathach has a brief "oh well that's unexpected" moment but otherwise shrugs it off and goes about her life as normal. Carmilla has a fucking breakdown and a midlife crisis all in one she is going through it my dudes

10: What scares them about entering a relationship?

Scathach doesn't have a whole lot of relationship fears but Carmilla has been burned so many times in the past [she's a very tragic figure in the novel everyone should read it so see how lonely she actually is] that she's a lot more reserved and hesitant about pursuing anyone. She doesn't like acknowledging how afraid she is of betrayal and losing that love so she does her best to reject her feelings at first until they practically consume her

They'd be the perfect couple for a good hanahaki fic is what I'm saying lol

34: Under what circumstances would they feel protective?

Mmmm I think Scathach would be protective whenever Carmilla is around men just because she knows that it's men who have hurt her most in the past but Carmilla doesn't get protective of Scathach at all because she knows Scathach can look after herself. Her wife is stupid as fuck though and it leads to her getting injured a lot which frustrates Carmilla to no end oops
