this book is so entertaining bc i already saw spoilers for the feng xin/jian lan/cuo cuo reveal and yet i could never have predicted the circumstances that brought it about. imagine being feng xin. the heavens are in an uproar and your only friend/enemy has been jailed for possible fetus spirit-related crimes but he escapes along with this female ghost who keeps causing problems. you figure “fuck it lets see if dianxia kept his old phone number” and he has but then he hangs up on you. you’ve got fuckall else to do so you go find him. mu qing is there but he’s in his disguise the two of you were using so you could watch over his highness while staying aloof. you think you see hua cheng only he’s a chiild for some goddamn reason but who knows at this point. the female ghost is also there and theres a fetus spirit climbing trees and biting your arrows in half. you realize the female ghost is your ex and the little demon is your son. it bites you. what do you do

amazing that despite everything going on everyone is still playing along with the “fu yao” persona when it would probably be easier to drop pretenses at this point. then again tbh if i could explain my actions to my friends while pretending to be a third party.... i probably would so.. carry on

artemis was bright, a very smart student, and also talented. she was in the musicals and did very well in school, all while balancing working and looking out for her brother

speaking of noel, the two were inseparable for their entire lives. it didnt matter that they had different dads, they were the best of friends. artemis did whatever she could to try and give noel the most normal childhood she could

when it came to college, artemis had set her mind on staying home. one day, she got a packet in the mail from julliard offering her a full ride for dance, and she was completely shocked bc she didnt even apply

turned out miss jane sent in an application for her because she thought she had so much talent and didnt want it to be a waste

artemis, however, turned down the full ride because she knew she had to stay home

she went accepted a full ride to texas state, right in san marcos, and was able to attend her classes as well as work as much as seh could

mostly, she wanted to be able to save enough money so that noel could go to whatever school he wanted, and so that their mom could relax a bit

tbh artemis wasn’t fully happy with her life but she knew that she had to support her family, because she loved them

so when noel announced that he and his band were picking up and moving to LA, she was furious

she had given up so much of her life to support her family, she gave up going to the school of her dreams so she could provide for noel and her mom and he was just going to leave them

huge fight, honestly artemis didn’t talk to him for a really long time after that happened because she couldnt understand how selfish he could be

about a year and a half later, noel decided to move them out to LA--while artemis wanted to stay put, their mom insisted they take the opportunity to mend the relationship and lvie a better life

begrudgingly, artemis agreed, and they moved out to LA when she was about 21 years old

at first, she hated it in LA, but after a few months there she was offered some kind of modeling gig. she didn’t think anything would come from it, but it was a victoria’s secret scout, and she soon became a model for the brand

her world turned upside down. she began modeling in magazines, on runways, in the victoria’s secret fashion show.

it was a dream come true

but it wasn’t the dream. so when artemis heard disney was spearheading a high school musical project, she decided to audition

singing and dancing and acting has always been her passion, so given the opprotunity, she wanted to take it

much to her own surprise, artemis was cast in the lead role of nini in high school musical the musical the series

now, artemis is about to start filming the second season of the show, as well as continuing to model and attempting to mend her relationship with her family

Lucas loves Mika, but he doesn’t trust him completely. Sometimes he doesn’t think about consequences or doesn’t take things seriously. 

He needed some company to go out tonight. Apparently he had a bad couple of dates and needed to forget about it tonight, but everyone already had plans and Lucas and Eliott were his last hope. Lucas agreed to it last night when Mika texted him, but now he’s not in the mood, too tired after a long day. 

Eliott is excited to go out, so Lucas tells him to go with Mika and he will stay home, go to bed early if he can. 

Eliott checks with him a few times while getting ready to see if Lucas haven’t changed his mind. He gives Eliott a long, passionate kiss before he lets him go meet Mika. He smiles to Lucas and says he’ll be home soon. 

Lucas is relieved to be alone tonight. He woke up in a bad mood and had a stressful day at school, that’s probably why he and eliott were also in a weird funk, so it’s nice to he at the comfort of his house in complete silence. He takes a long shower, puts his and Eliott’s clothes to wash, etc.

While cooking something later, he puts some classical rock to listen to, looks around when he’s back to the bedroom, looking at their beautiful, comfortable, tiny oasis. Since he got his room back, he and Eliott redecorated (with Manon’s help) everything, bought some plants to hang on the ceiling next to the window, changed the beddings, donated some clothes so both their closets could fit into one. 

It feels cozy, warm, safe, a little bit like a jungle. 

Lucas already chose a movie to watch, crawling underneath the covers. Before he can press play, he decides to check his messages. Nothing yet. 

Don’t be a babysitter. He knows how to handle himself.

He presses play, adjusting his pillow. It’s not the best movie, but it’s not a waste of time either. He puts another one right after, an action movie to keep him awake. 4 a.m and the second one is over. Lucas had to fight to not fall asleep during this one, so he turns his notebook off, putting it on the table. 

Ok, his time alone could be over already if it was his choice, he misses Eliott and having his big, warm body to cuddle before falling asleep. But Lucas is happy that he’s out, having fun. He turns off his lamp, checking his phone and there’s some messages, all from Mika.

Mika sent him a bunch of photos. They’re apparently in a photo booth with a bunch of other guys and two girls. Eliott has his arm around some guy’s shoulders, seeming to fit it perfectly with the group, he’s really out going when he wants to so it’s not a surprise to Lucas how well he fits with Mika’s friends. The jealous side of Lucas doesn’t like how close the guy is to Eliott, but there’s nothing going on, it’s just him being possessive. And the other guy seems very young, younger than Lucas. 

The last picture ruins his entire night in a second, making him jolt on his bed, sitting and opening the picture, zooming in. His boyfriend with his wet, flat tongue out and the guy is really close, nearly sucking his boyfriend’s tongue. 

Mika posted something on instagram, tagging Lucas in it. He opens the notification and it takes him to the post. It’s a close up of that photo, only showing Eliott and that kid that he has his arm around, tagging Lucas and Eliott on Eliott’s tongue. 

As he freezes, looking at the photo again, he can see comments coming it, a bunch of guys and some girls asking who the guy in the picture is, someone already answering with Eliott’s instagram. Lucas’ vision is blurred, he’s trying hard not to cry or to freak out. 

This is what Lucille was talking about. 

He tries to racionalize but somedays it feels too much and he just needs to shove some sense into Eliott. Lucas types and sends his answer to all the thirsty people. 

He’s taken. 

A minute later Mika deletes the photo. Lucas suddenly feels sleepless. getting up from his bed and leaving his phone behind, rubbing his eyes with the palm of his hands, cleaning his face with his shirt afterwards. 

Lucas was naive to think he would be enough for Eliott and that things would be different from what they were with Lucille. Maybe he got it all wrong and Eliott is happier when single or when he’s able to have whoever he wants, whenever he wants to. 

And Lucas can’t do that, he’s too jealous and too insecure to be in an open relationship. He can’t seem to stop crying, a blue light enlightens his room, Eliott is calling but Lucas doesn’t answer, too riled up, he would probably say things he would regret. 

He doesn’t know what to do, would much rather not have to see Eliott or Mika again any time soon, but it’s the middle of the night, he can’t just leave. Where he would go? Manon is not home, Yann is probably sleeping and he wouldn’t have the courage to bother anyone else with his relationship drama. 

So he lets his feelings take over again, sitting on the floor, hiding his face on his hands. He can feel his heart shattering and once he cried everything he could, his walls start to build around him again.

Lucas feels tired, his body aching from crying for way too long. It’s just a stupid picture! He gets up from the floor, hoping to throw himself in bed and fall asleep for days, lock himself from the outside world. 

But before he can reach his bed, he hears loud voices. Eliott and Mika are back. Mika is screaming his name and Lucas feels like punching him, not looking at his face ever again. They both barge in to the bedroom, Mika calling for Lucas again, almost running into him, standing in the middle of his room. 

“Lucas!! Hi, baby!” He tries to hug him, but Lucas steps back. Eliott looks wasted and full of guilt and Lucas feels like punching him too. 

“Can you leave me alone?” He has to gather all his strength to form a single question, Eliott takes a step forward, in front of Mika. 

“Lucas...”

“Can you leave me alone?” He raises his voice, stepping forward too, ready to throw both of them out of his bedroom. 

“It was a joke!! Nothing happened!” Mika explains loudly, laughing but he’s the only one. 

“I DON`T GIVE A SHIT, MIKA!” 

Eliott takes another step forward, putting a hand on Lucas’ chest, kind of trying to calm him down, kind of trying to stop him from getting closer to Mika. 

“Nothing happened, Lucas. I swear...” 

“It was more than fucking enough, Eliott!” He nearly screams again, looking at the boy in front of him, trying not to cry again. “You’re such a fucking idiot!” 

Lucas can feel Eliott’s hand shaking on his chest but he can’t bring himself to care now. 

“We are done, Eliott. I can’t do this.”

“No, no, no, we’re not done, Lucas.”

“Yes, we fucking are.” He means it, says every word looking into Eliott’s perfect eyes. 

“Baby, we were just kidding, trying to make my friends’ boyfriend jealous.” Mika doesn’t seem to realize the seriousness of the situation, Eliott ignores him completely, freaking out inside, thinking that he’ll loose the man of his life because of a stupid joke. 

“Yeah, it worked out perfectly, didn’t it?” Lucas looks at him and Eliott can’t have this anymore, he needs to talk to Lucas, so he turns around, trying to walk Mika out of the room. 

“Get out, Mika, now. We need to talk.” 

“We don’t have anything to talk about, Eliott.” Lucas answers, but he ignores, closing the door as soon as Mika is out, locking the door. 

“We do, I won’t let you break up with me over some shit like that.” 

“It’s not “some shit”. You kissed someone else, posted all over the fucking internet and expect me to be fine with it?” 

“I didn’t kiss him, Lucas!!! I swear! Nothing happened. It was a stupid photo and as soon as I saw it I asked Mika to delete it.” 

“So if Mika hadn’t posted it, I would have never known, even better.” 

“No, that’s not it! He sent all the pictures to you!” 

Lucas can’t hold back the tears, he’s so angry he can’t even think straight.

“I hate you so much right now, Eliott!” 

Eliott is holding back his tears, desperate, holding Lucas’ face and trying to kiss him, put some sense back into his head, show him what they have and how Lucas doesn’t hate him but he pushes Eliott’s hands off of his face. 

“Please, Lucas, I’m sorry. I didn’t know you would get this upset.”

“I don’t care right now. I’m going to bed.” 

“Ok...” Eliott doesn’t seem to understand, going around the bed to his side. 

“No, you’re not sleeping here. Go cuddle Mika for all I care, I don’t want you here.” 

Lucas is a lot shorter, but he doesn’t act like it, pushing Eliott out of his room. The other one is still in shock (and too drunk) to fight back, when Lucas finally stops pushing him, he tries to turn around and stop him, but it’s too late, Lucas slammed the door on his face and he can hear him locking it from inside.

        ♡    she  was  homeschooled  for  a  majority  of  her  childhood,  but  ur  a  Big  Fool  if  u  thought  it  was  by  her  parents!  they  were  incredibly  busy  with  their  own  careers  so  she  had  a  nanny  and  a  homeschool  teacher!  and  to  be  Quite  Honest  her  nanny  was  more  of  a  mother  to  her  than  miss  edith  could  ever  be!  to  lia,  her  parents  were  more  like  a  dream,  a  fantasy,  some  sort  of  ethereal  beings  —  untouchable.  [cue  parental  longing]

        ♡   despite  how  much  the  media  loved  to  talk  about  amelia  and  her  parents,  she  didn't  actually  get  to  see  them  all  that  often!  they  loved  her,  there's  no  doubt  about  it,  but  they  didn't  exactly  know  to  express  it...  despite  being  acclaimed  performers  SGKSDJGHDS  so!  basically  in  lia's  mind,  succeeding  meant  getting  love  from  her  parents  because  they  always  seemed  to  pay  the  most  attention  to  her  when  she  was  doing  something  impressive  —  they  loved  to  show  her  off  to  their  colleagues  like  some  sort  of  dog  who  can  do  tricks.  lia  ate  up  this  "love",  though,  because  there's  nothing  that  beats  the  glimmer  in  their  eyes  when  they  watch  her  perform.

        ♡    lia  took  private  lessons  for  everything  ranging  from  acting,  voice,  and  dance!  fun  fact:  she’s  classically  trained  in  several  dance  styles,  such  as  contemporary,  jazz,  ballet,  tap,  and  hip  hop!  she  was  basically  set  to  follow  her  parents’  footsteps  with  all  of  this  training.  she  played  several  child/teen  roles  in  musicals  thanks  to  her  family,  and  it  was  an  almost  effortless  kickstart  to  her  career.

        ♡    when  she  was  high  school  aged,  lia  was  admitted  into  la  county  school  of  the  arts,  but  she  wasn’t  there  for  long.  despite  growing  up  being  taught  how  to  handle  lingering  paparazzi  and  answer  questions  interviewers  sent  her  way,  she  was  never  quite  taught  how  to  handle  the  Hell  that  is  high  school.  she  wasn’t  accepted  well  into  the  social  climate  and  was  frequently  bullied  and  judged.  they  didn’t  believe  that  she  worked  to  be  there,  she  was  only  there  because  of  her  parents.  they  didn’t  actually  know  anything  about  her,  but  they  made  these  assumptions  that  eventually  led  to  her  pulling  out  of  school.  she  had  been  excited  to  finally  see  what  it’d  be  like  to  make  friends  of  her  own  —  friends  that  weren’t  just  fed  to  her  because  of  who  her  parents  were.  she  didn’t  know  that  same  fact  would  make  it  all  the  more  difficult.

        ♡    she's  a  theatre  kid  through  and  through,  and  that's  all  i  have  to  say  about  that!  lia  grew  up  adoring  the  theatre,  not  only  watching  the  shows  her  parents  were  casted  in  but  almost  every  single  one  she  could  become  an  audience  to!  it  was  to  no  surprise  when  the  public  found  her  in  minor  and  supporting  roles  as  a  child,  and  it  was  pretty  much  expected  for  her  to  become  one  of  the  next  big  names  in  broadway  —  she  was  anticipated  to  make  the  Big  Move  to  new  york  once  she  got  her  footing  in  the  industry!

        ♡    as  time  progressed,  she  continued  to  pursue  theatre,  slowly  taking  on  more  mature  roles.  every  now  and  then  she  would  be  given  television/film  offers,  but  it  was  more  of  a  side  gig  at  the  time.  theatre  was  truly  what  she  was  passionate  about.  even  though  it  was  a  profession  forced  on  her,  it  was  no  lie  that  she  actually  enjoyed  it.

        ♡    she  began  to  develop  her  own  fame  outside  of  her  parents  around  the  time  she  was  seventeen/eighteen,  with  a  supporting  role  in  an  independent  film  that  garnered  pretty  notable  success.  around  this  time,  her  parents  invested  in  a  publicist/agent  just  for  her,  a  relative  of  edith  who  was  also  involved  in  the  industry.  it's  true  when  they  say  it's  bad  to  mix  personal  affairs  with  business  because  things  began  to  take  a  bit  of  a  turn  for  miss  lia!

        ♡    her  pr  team  was  really  big  on  transforming  her  the  Big  Name  everyone  expected  her  to  be,  all  the  while  creating  an  identity  completely  separate  from  her  family  where  she  can  thrive.  and  that’s  exactly  what  they  did.  they  created  an  identity.

        ♡    she  had  a  love/hate  relationship  with  being  associated  with  her  parents.  on  one  hand,  it  was  a  burden  having  to  constantly  live  with  the  expectation  of  being  just  as  successful  as  them,  but  on  the  other,  it  fueled  her  fantasies  of  being  the  dream  family  she  had  always  wanted  them  to  be.

        ♡    they  stressed  the  importance  of  whom  she  associated  with,  they  slowly  transitioned  her  out  of  theatre  and  immersed  her  completely  into  the  film  industry,  lining  her  up  for  roles  that  would  eventually  become  quite  memorable.  they  took  who  lia  was  and  restructured  her  as  they  saw  fit,  and  lia  went  along  with  all  of  this  because  they  constantly  reassured  her  that  this  was  what  was  best  for  her  career.  she  didn't  want  to  go  against  family,  for  to  ruin  any  connections  with  her  parents  would  be  a  step  closer  to  losing  them  completely,  so  she  played  along  in  this  role  made  just  for  her.

        ♡    her  brain  eventually  became  fine  tuned  to  see  relationships  as  “how  can  this  benefit  me?”  rather  than  actual  companionship  which  Sucks  bc  she  totally  wants  friendship  —  she’s  always  craved  it  —  but  in  the  back  of  her  mind  there’s  always  this  lil  checkbox  where  she  has  to  get  something  from  this  which  is  Not  Healthy  but  she  doesn’t  know  what  to  do  about  it  because  she’s  in  too  deep  to  change  anything

        ♡    she’s  become  so  detached  from  her  individuality  and  become  the  rising  starlet  her  team  shaped  her  into.  she  hasn’t  been  in  a  musical  production  in  a  long  time,  so  it’s  as  if  they  ripped  a  major  part  of  her  identity  away  from  her.  but  i  guess  that  was  the  plan  all  along.  i  don’t  wanna  say  that  her  mom's  cousin  has  some  lingering  resentment  toward  her  due  something  along  the  lines  of  always  living  in  her  shadow…  but  her  mom's  cousin  has  some  lingering  resentment  toward  her  mom.  it’s  just  cleverly  disguised  because  lia  is  technically  thriving  when  you  look  at  it  from  the  outside.  inside,  she  yearns  for  her  past.

        ♡    in  the  past  few  years,  she’s  been  conditioned  to  want  the  world.  she  thinks  she  is  owed  it,  but  this  sentiment  is  also  fueled  by  her  longing.  she  has  this  hunger  for  success  that’s  highkey  kinda  unhealthy!  she  isn’t  even  capable  of  discussing  these  things  with  her  parents  because  they’re  all  busy  all  the  time!  her  team  would  tell  her  to  say  yes  to  projects,  pr  stuff  including  false  articles  later  debunked  just  for  the  publicity,  whatever  works!  she’s  been  forced  into  this  addiction  for  attention  but  it’s  pretty  much  a  result  of  her  channeling  the  negative  energy  toward  her  career…  to  help  her  career?  but  in  a  way  that’s  detrimental  to  her  own  health.  her  sleep  schedule?  fucked  up!  she’s  ruining  herself  from  the  inside  out  and  she  doesn’t  want  to  admit  it!

        ♡    her  sentiment  toward  her  public  identity  is  akin  to  lottie  person  of  the  snotgirl  comic!  who  she  is  interpreted  as  on  social  media  isn’t  the  whole  truth.  she  posts  as  if  she’s  under  careful  watch  because,  well,  she  is.  anything  her  team  didn't  like  simply  didn't  cut  it  and  was  deleted  almost  immediately  followed  by  a  sharp  scolding.  "image  is  everything"  is  one  of  the  many  sentences  ingrained  into  her  mind.  an  effortless  kind  of  everyday,  that's  what  she  was  supposed  to  be.  idk  how  to  explain  it  well  but  u  know  those  instagrams  where  it  looks  super  casual  but  is  probably  super  planned?  yes?  idk  in  my  head  she  has  an  instagram  feed  like  hyulari  or  pameluft  where  it  looks  rly  normal  but  it's  rly  pretty

        ♡    i'm  trying  to,  like,  put  it  into  words  what  her  persona  is  perceived  as,  but  it's  something  along  the  lines  of  a  person  you  think  you  know  but  you  really  don't.  you  see  her  posts,  you  see  who  she's  with,  where  she's  having  coffee,  but  who  is  lia,  really?

        ♡    clearly,  this  entire  situation  can  get  extremely  overwhelming!  the  melatonin  she  takes  to  help  control  her  sleeping  habits  also  gifts  her  with  the  side  effect  of  irritability,  so  there  have  been  times  when  she  “slipped  up”  and  Snapped!  her  fans  are  quick  to  defend  her,  however,  claiming  she’s  tired  and  needs  rest,  or  place  blame  on  the  individuals  who  dare  disrespect  her  privacy  and  personal  space. 

        ♡    scandals  are  also  something  she  isn’t  immune  to.  she  frequents  club  and  party  settings  often,  and  rumors  often  circulate  about  her  activities,  but  it's  easy  to  shift  blame  on  bad  influences.  her  image  isn't  exactly  squeaky  clean,  but  hey,  as  her  team  likes  to  say,  "total  prudes  don't  get  attention"

        ♡    people  who  work  with  lia  either  love  her  or  hate  her,  there's  really  no  in  between.  she's  friendly  or  stuck-up.  some  believe  she's  ungrateful,  maybe  they're  onto  something.  she  doesn't  cause  trouble  on  sets,  but  people  love  to  make  assumptions  about  this  girl  whose  identity  they  can't  seem  to  crack.  but  they'll  be  damned  if  they  don't  see  her  come  in  every  morning  with  a  smile  on  her  face.

        ♡    if  it  wasn't  clear,  she  despises  the  identity  she’s  forced  into!  it  feels  like  a  role  she  has  to  play  almost  24/7,  and  she’d  easily  give  it  all  up  if  it  didn’t  mean  losing  everything  good  that  came  from  it.  she  missed  the  girl  she  used  to  be,  the  girl  anyone  could  easily  approach  to  talk  about  their  day.  she  doesn’t  know  amelia  anymore.  she  hasn’t  been  amelia  for  a  long  time,  only  lia.

        ♡    she  learned  recently  that  the  contract  with  her  team  is  set  for  a  renewal  soon,  which  prompted  a  crisis  within  lia.  to  terminate  the  contract  would  mean  freedom,  but  at  what  cost?  spicy,  stay  tuned.

        ♡    my  base  inspiration  that  Started  It  All  for  lia  came  from  me  watching  a  stephanie  soo  vlog  KSDLHGDSG  so  yea  she's  like  this  likable,  kinda  loud  and  blunt  personality  but  that  comes  more  as  a  surprise  to  people  who  get  to  know  her  because  she's  been  molded  into  having  a  more  suppressed  type  of  character  —  friendly,  but  never  too  much

        ♡    for  the  sake  of  her  sanity,  i'm  gonna  say  that  she  still  holds  on  to  her  personality  in  fear  of  becoming  too  absorbed  by  her  public,  consumable  image,  but  there  are  times  when  she  confuses  the  two.  she  can  slip  up  and  say  something  a  bit  too  blunt  in  an  interview  or  find  herself  holding  back  with  her  close  friends.  she's  essentially  become  a  blend  of  her  true  nature  and  her  public  image  where  it's  almost  the  same  thing

        ♡    incredibly,  incredibly  insecure!  lia  does  not  have  a  hold  on  her  own  identity,  so  even  the  smallest  things  will  make  her  question  everything!  she  constantly  wonders  if  there’s  a  party  happening  that  she’s  not  invited  to,  if  people  like  her,  if  people  are  gossiping  about  her.  so  many  aspects  of  her  current  identity  have  been  conditioned  to  be  close  enough  to  genuine  that  she  actually  doesn’t  know  what’s  real  anymore.

        ♡    she  can  be  a  little  bit  manipulative  if  it  comes  down  to  her  career.  she  doesn’t  really  mean  it  but  she  can’t  help  it  at  this  point!

        ♡    if  she’s  friends  with  someone,  even  if  it’s  for  some  symbiosis-type  relationship,  she  will  play  into  that  role,  she  will  act  as  if  it’s  real.  even  if  she  doesn’t  believe  it,  she  wants  to  believe  it  because  she  also  is  unsure  if  she’s  capable  of  real  feelings??!  she  thinks  she’s  devoid  of  emotion  but  she  just  …  doesn’t  think  about  it.  like,  she  doesn’t  want  to  admit  to  herself  that  she  cares  about  people  bc  she  knows  the  Ugly  side  of  her  brain  will  hyper-analyze  the  relationship  and  find  ways  to  sabotage  it  for  herself  to  the  point  where  she  can’t  enjoy  it  anymore  —  so  i  guess  it's  safest  for  her  to  think  that  this  really  isn't  her!  coping  mechanisms  let's  roll  out!

        ♡   she’s  definitely  had  her  fair  share  of  significant  others  in  the  past,  but  they’ve  been  mixed  into  a  bag  of  a  bunch  of  pr  relationships  (she's  had  so  many)  so  she  doesn’t  know  if  she’s  capable  of  actually  loving  someone.  it!  all!  seems!  fake!  but  she  definitely  craves  affection  and  will  try  to  find  it  wherever  she  can.

It’d been quite a few times now, that this specific customer had been coming. Yes, a new “regular”, right ? At least that meant they were making money, Anthony clearly wasn’t about to complain about that. The guy was kinda cute too, wasn’t he ? He didn’t mind taking his order everytime he came in.

Or he wouldn’t mind, if that moron wasn’t giving a different name everytime, which was getting quite ridiculous.

What, he really had to write ‘Batman’ sometimes, that wasn’t something he enjoyed doing. Felt kind of stupid, like he was being played ; not once he had given his real name ( or at least the poor barista clearly doubted he’d gotten even one name right at this point ) and while it could be a fun game, he really… wanted to know what was the name of that ridiculously cute guy he saw come in more than once a week. Especially considering that guy was obviously doing it on purpose to bother him, he saw how he was being looked at ! He wasn’t stupid !

And since he wasn’t stupid, he’d decided to give it a shot and establish a strategy. Taking in account that guy had a schedule and only came on some days, he’d just hidden in the back room on a day he was meant to come, and… he did come !

But his disappointed, almost sad face as he realised the blond was nowhere to be seen, maybe it made him feel a little bad. But now he’d walked in, he couldn’t walk out without looking like an idiot. He was going to do the usual, and maybe give yet another different name ? Anthony listened closely from behind the door, but didn’t hear anything. Once the guy had gone to take a seat though, his coworker came to the back room and quickly the situation was sorted out.

He’d gotten the new name, but this time it felt like it was real. Poor guy probably didn’t want to mess with everyone, huh ? He’d just set his yes on that one specific twink and he’d decided it’d be so much goddamn fun to take his time. Unluckily, that one specific twink really wanted to spend time on him.

It was to say, he wasn’t the least attractive guy he’d met, right ? No, yeah, maybe he’d spent… quite some time just observing him from the counter, maybe he’d just gotten himself flustered with just how good he looked, these wild red curls framing his face so well, their hue somehow matching his dark brown eyes in warmth. They were so expressive too ; it was easy to read how mischievous he felt, or even what kind of day he’d been having. And all these beauty marks he’d managed to spot, they looked cute, didn’t they ?… his build, how frankly fit and even muscular he seemed to be, and… and his lips, they– they looked good, didn’t they ? They were soft - or that’s what he thought - and a nice pink, and… and, what if they happened to be pressed against - oh no, his skin ? No, no, his lips ? And his own lips, yes, Anthony’s, they could be wandering around that skin of his, and his hands racking through the mess that was his hair, and pulling on it when the redhead’s own hands were just perhaps, maybe–

Maybe that was too much and he really needed to stop being a creep, but everyone deserves to know his thoughts included cheesy romantic interactions ; well, how could he not picture himself having fun with a guy who was messing with him by never using his goddamn real name ? Maybe he’d just gotten himself a little turned on thinking about all this again, but he was also horny for cuddles and pretending they can dance tango. He won’t take constructive criticism.

“So, Albert.”

Before he’d even realised himself, he was sitting in front of… Albert. The grin on his face was quickly turning into a smirk, his freshly named friend was now giving him half of what could be called a death glare. He didn’t seem to upset though, his cheeks showed he was more flustered than anything else - which definitely got Race to laugh.

“What ‘bout that face, huh ? Did I insult you or what ?”

“There’s a reason I don’t use my name usually, jerk.”

“Yea, right, aside from playin’ with me ?”

Anthony leaned in his seat, eyebrows as he stuffed his hands in his pockets. “It’s my break, you’re lucky, ain’t ya ?” He then added, like it was actually his break. It wasn’t. They didn’t even close in that long, it was just pretty dead at the moment and he enjoyed wasting time there.

“Real lucky, Anthony.”

“We finally get to talk, Albert.”

“We sure are talking, Tony.”

Ouch, a nickname already ? A shiver was sent down his spine. Yes, he was indeed absolutely weak for these, what could he say ! Not that he often got them anymore, but that only made it better. Or worse given the context, and maybe this time it’d be on the “worse” end of the stick. He just stuttered out an answer, which kind of sucked in itself.

“Right back at ya, … Albitch.”

Albert had to try really hard not to spit out his coffee as he heard that. Anthony could see it, and it wasn’t that it made him feel ridiculous, but… bleh.The next few minutes were just spent with them making eye contact constantly while the other was finishing his coffee. And once he was done, they stayed quiet for a little longer, just gazing into each other’s eyes. And maybe the blond was getting a bit lost in thoughts there again, but could he be blamed ? He was staring at this guy he’d been pretty much waiting to know for… months, at this point. THIS was ridiculous. He agreed he was a silly person in general, but he’d waited so long, it wasn’t even funny anymore.And in that time they just spent not talking, it just so happened it was time for the shop to close. Great, right ? No, okay, he was actually going to get to it, pretty boy…. hot guy could wait a little.

Fast forward to when the shop had finally closed, after his one coworker had taunted him about the quick looks he gave their good ol’ customer while the latter was just constantly staring at him… no, checking him out.

Everyone was out, and everyone’s favourite twink was now free to talk with his… acquaintance, who was leaning against the wall outside ( duh ).

“So, day’s ending.”

“Yea. Pretty cool, it was boring.” Act casual, yeah ?

“No plans tonight, I’m expecting ?”

Frankly, he’d have accepted it very easily, hadn’t Albert sounded like an ass about it. How dare he assume he didn’t already have a very good lover, or even friends, or… or that he wasn’t going to go out partying ?

“I mean, you’re working tomorrow too, so I figured.”

Ah, well. Fair, with that reasoning, he couldn’t deny it.

“Even though you don’t seem like the kind'a guy to do reasonable stuff.”

… Fair again. He was being insulted there, wasn’t he ? He had no argument against it, but at the same time it kind of made him feel bad, until he felt the other’s hand on his own. He blinked, and quite snapped back into reality instead of drifting away in his own thoughts.

“So I’m decidin’ I’m taking you out tonight. Sounds good ?”

Well, fucking sure it sounded good ! If he had to be going out after work with anyone, it better be with that goddamn chaotic redhead.

“Hopin’ it’s a date ‘cause I ain’t got money,” the blond eventually answered, his smile slowly making its way back to his face. “Don’t care about the place, by the way. Can’t be picky when you make coffee for a livin’.”

Once again getting a laugh out of Albert, he decided to properly hold his hand. Even if that meant his cheeks were more colourful just for a few.

“So we’re going on a date ?”

“Yea.”

“Anywhere ?”

“Don’t care.”

“Good, 'cause I don’t know where we’re going yet.”

“You’re stupid.”But he was quite happy with going on a date with that stupid guy.

20 memories & isms I love about you.

1. He sent me flowers at work. Twice 🥰

2. He left work to help me fix my tire, outside my ex’s house. Never drove on a highway before that day. (no I shouldn’t have dated the guy, but that particular Gemini is the asc degree of our composite chart, he’s the reason we ever met at all, and hubby is the reason we broke up so...lesson learned)

3. He made me eat his mom’s food. Not only that but excitedly. He’d be like “mom is making hot spaghetti and you’re gonna come over and have some”...I’d say no thx 20 times but he wasn’t hearing it. Hot spaghetti day. I felt weird having someone’s mom cook for me. She probably felt weird too tbh, but he was so over the top happy about mom, food, and me, that it didn’t seem to matter and worked out fine 😆

4. He’s so forward, and bold as hell. I’m irritatingly shy and very guarded. Literally the only way he got me was because he’d act before I could really even think about it or think myself out of it. Winners mind.

5. He moved me into his moms house. I was not ok. Not not not. My pride is...well it exists, and burns like fire whenever help is given. I will never ask in all my life and idc, feels better that way. Will gladly die first. My rotors were broken though (I could write a book just about car problems fr), I needed two and it was gonna take awhile. I’d be in the city and he’d be way out there. He’s like nah. You stay. He insisted...and I stayed. Staying was not a me thing, he changed that.

6. He gave me a baby. After all of the years I didn’t have periods, needed pills to have a normal body, all of the times I talked myself out of that sort of life altogether because I clearly didn’t have the guy (ex was not a kid guy) or the working body parts to even do that, must not be for me. First time in our new apartment, boom baby.

7. First time in our slightly bigger and nicer apartment, boom baby 2. We started actually using protection after she was born. Clearly we can.

8. He worked stupidly long hours and put up with so many people that just had no fn clue, it put a strain on everything, most of all him. When he got the offer for Indy, I pushed it. And pushed it. And pushed. May as well have pushed him right out the door, we were going, because those people suck and you’ll never get the chance to be seen while you’re doing that glorified delivery guy’s job for him. We’re going. So, we did, and he got me out of this damn state. At least once.

9. He loved getting lost with me, and it was my favorite thing. Indiana is a beautiful state and I encourage anyone to get lost there, on purpose.

10. I forgot work. He caused some serious change. Everyone else lost their job, including hubby’s favorite person ever, Jonathan. Today he’s the sole survivor of a mom and pop shop, and I’m so unbelievably proud of him. The best part though, is two of the guys from work used to come see me at my new work all the time, with all their bar bitches 😆 They were my favorite people, I was always so excited to see them. Hubby tried to get them back on, and did for one of them. And when the bigger boss needed a new smaller boss bc hubby was leaving the state, hubby fought like hell for Jonathan. Like Highlander, there can only be one *sksksksksksk* They looked at a couple and hubs was like no only Jon knows the ways of the force. They hired him back, Jon has sent him some of the sweetest thank you messages...it changed his life, and hubs still loves him very much. It’s adorable.

11. Screamy baby Shmoo, she was a screamy baby, and so very beautiful. Baby Bam was like a dream, she was the perfect baby in every way. My screamy baby Shmoo was also a perfect baby, with a pitch that could break glass and sometimes she just wanted to practice for hours. Usually I got her to bed with mama snuggles & milk, singing Alison Krauss and rocking. Sometimes though, on the roughest nights, it’d be over an hour before I’d open the door with screamy baby still in a fit, and he’d take her. He’s so warm and calm, he’d win every single time, and I’d be like...zzzzz tysm ily tyty zzzz....

12. His jokes. He’s not funny (yes he is don’t tell him). He thinks he’s funny. He jokes all day every day about everything always. The girls know when dad says something to be skeptical bc he said they gotta go outside and till the land with tiny shovels, and when I roll my eyes they know he’s full of it. What’s funnier, his mom was the kind of person that took things literally always. Every time him and his goofy dad were being sarcastic, I’d have to tell her that because they’d have her believing crazy stuff. My kids share a lot of her isms, that’s one. My son absolutely does not joke, he is quite literal (so far), and I always have to scold hubby or tell lil guy nooooo he’s kidding. I don’t talk about his silliness nearly enough and I should, that’s him ❤️

13. His relationship with his mom. His mom was always on the...I wouldn’t say weaker side, but older, regular pain, on disability. He was her BABY. Her eyes lit up like Christmas when he entered the room. She loves him so so much. His sister... You know the kind, or...just imagine, probably close. He hated it. He got his job pretty young and just kept it. Always had money, always offered to help his mom, always was like IM FINE MOM. She just wanted to do for him, and he’s always been the kind of guy that wants to do for himself. And she was so funny, she’d slip $20 into the diaper bag and tell me “don’t tell him”, putting it on me. So we’d get in the car. And I’d be like there’s $20 in the diaper bag, knowing he’s gonna be pissed if he finds it (she needs it). And he’d get it, run into the house, set it on her table, and run out the door while she ran after him hollering protests 😆 Lots of other stories too. I miss her so much, I can’t even imagine how much he must.

14. His relationship with his sister, and other whirlwind people. He’s like a rock. I’ve spent lots of time with his sister, but not at once. The one day I did, I came home and my brain was so full of her bazillion ideas and impulsive let’s do this and just one thing, opposite thing, different subject, back to the subject, hey let’s do this, omg I have an idea. I love her to death but I had to sit and just...dump my brain. Ask myself for my own input bc I’d lost wtf...what were we doing again?!? Him though? Doesn’t miss a beat. No...no...no...I’ll think about it...no...no..change subject. No issue saying no. Back then I was like thank god, girl would have me on a cruise to Aruba tomorrow with costume jewelry and black face before I could even think to protest. Not him.

15. Making up. The difference between Taurus moon and Sag moon is that Taurus moon stays mad for the rest of their lives (hello...) and Sag moon wakes up in the morning like nothing happened in the history of ever. This was something that irritated me THE MOST. Don’t make me laugh, I’m pissed at you. Over the years, it became the only way we’d talk at all sometimes. Is certainly the only reason we made up, countless times. He never stopped trying to make me smile, even if I wanted nothing to do with it.

16. Acts of Service. Is not mine, which is either words time or touch and I really can’t decide which. All. He speaks a whole other language. I try to do the same for him as much as I can, because I know that’s his language and I really appreciate him.

17. Bedroom games. The man knows my body like a map, no, an Excel spreadsheet 😭, and how to get every reaction he’s looking for. He is the only man to ever satisfy my insatiable ass. He made me a whole new person in that regard. He says the same about me. Never an issue there. It’s this far down the list cuz it’s not the most important, but it’s pretty important too so there that is.

18. We share the same goals. We judge the same way, like why did they wrap this like that it looks sketchy. We parent the same. We decide the same. We critically think and weigh ideas the same. We walk the same line in the same direction. If anything he’s too negative sometimes, but that’s his own personal thing. Can’t be full of Capricorn and not lean more toward pessimism (not “realism”) sometimes I think. If it’s worth it, I’ll try to coax him to middle ground. Sometimes it’s a battle, but only if I’m really sure. Usually, he’s right, so I just let him lead.

19. When I was pregnant with my son. Initially. It was hell. His car was trashed, mine was broken and thousands of dollars to fix (this particular car in this particular year has this and what a coincidence it was particularly my problem...cars, I’m telling ya). I was two feet out the door with his shit, but his sister’s issues led to my heart. Because her kids. I love them very much, of course they can stay here and not with some strange person hell no. I cannot describe how angry I was at him. HE strapped backpacks onto his back and walked to the nearest store. Hauled so much crap in a huge backpack and just his arms. Over the course of two months. He quit drinking. He went above and beyond to do get offer or provide anything I could even imagine. More romantic then I think I’d ever seen him before. At least...it had been some time anyway. Of course...he was lying to me. The whole time. To what extent idk. Regarding the work shit, idk. Thus the question and the dream and the crazy and the...crazy 😞 Wanted to piss me off boy he got that tenfold. His actions during this time period are 💯 why I stayed. He was clearly trying like hell to prove to me he could try, and it’s more than anyone I’ve ever known has even bothered to “bother” with. I was impressed, and proud. Respect counts for a lot more than love sometimes, and at the time I respected him.

20. He’s an amazing father. There are so many stories I couldn’t possibly write them all. Our son though, he chose daddy, right from the start. Nothing like our daughters, nor any kid I’d known. He’d scream, FOR his dad. He’d only sleep on his shoulder. Hubby held this baby for hours on end. If he didn’t baby would demand it, but it was very natural to them both. Baby wanted a bottle, and hubby to give it to him. It blew my mind. Hubby got his little teammate and together they’ve changed my life and perspective in ways I couldn’t have ever imagined.

I’ve spent so long sporadically venting on here that I don’t think I’ve ever posted the sweet things. So many great memories and daily...everything...are missing, so many years and little moments. That would take forever. Its always been my frustrations, which was the purpose. This is my heart. No matter what happens, all of these things will always be true.

Not really an unpopular opinion, but I need to get this out bc it’s been bothering me (and also I can’t think of any better unpopular opinion) - so the other day I decided to check out aggretsuko because I’d heard good things about it and it looked cute and it had a dub so I could easily put it on in the background while I was drawing or doing something else.  At first I quite liked it!  It didn’t spend any time dwelling on the political message I saw a snippet of on my dash, which I didn’t mind but it did surprise me, but overall it was a pure enough show and I have a hearty enough stomach to stand serious issues addressed in a serious/respectful way (ie not saying “haha its funny that women are abused at work”, aggretsuko does like the reverse of that).  I really liked Gori and Washimi, especially Gori bc god I relate to her, and it did off-put me that she was a gorilla with a clearly black-coded voice but honestly I’d rather change her species because I LOVE her voice, it fit her personality/writing so well, but nevertheless I ofc recognize the problematic implications and again that’s why I’d like the species to be changed.  But of course, can’t change what’s already been done, hoped it wasn’t anything too intentional and kept watching.  Gori became my fave character properly, and I think ep 4 was the last ep I watched?  It was where Gori and Washimi get to know Retsuko more, which I thought was really cute!  I was happy she was able to open up about her interests to people at work more too, I thought that was nice character development.  But then there was a scene that just kinda punched me in the face and I haven’t been able to return to the series since.  So Washimi, Gori, and Retsuko are ordering drinks at the karaoke club, Washimi and Gori get alcoholic drinks and Retsuko orders tea (for anxiety reasons, but still).  Gori over the phone tells the waiter to slip some whiskey into her tea.  I get that the point was to get Retsuko into relaxing a bit, but I’m sorry, you do NOT slip anything - LET ALONE ALCOHOL - into someone’s drink or food without permission.  As far as I can tell, Washimi and Gori had no way of knowing if Retsuko drank or not; at least if it was one of Retsuko’s close friends, they knew she drank.  It still wouldn’t be good but it wouldn’t have been as bad.  I know I know, it’s nitpicky, I got just as offended by jokes in fucking Appmon as I did by this joke, but the fact that it was done by a character I really enjoyed and borderline imprinted on…really hurt?  It’s very much a personal thing, not a “if you enjoy Aggretsuko you condone this” thing (I dont play that game but even the little bit that I play of it, this doesn’t apply to), so idc if you still like it and if you do that’s actually FANTASTIC!!  I don’t WANT people to have the same reaction I did, because having this reaction sucks.  I wanted to like this show because I thought it would be some dumb fun but I simply don’t care enough about it to go back after something like this.  The characters were cute but I get just as much enjoyment out of the show looking at posts on tumblr than I do watching it.  I’m a serialized story kind of guy, I don’t do well with comedies, and once a comedy does the opposite of what it’s supposed to do I have a tendency to drop it.

I’ll probably reblog aggretsuko posts here and there because it’s still cute, but I might be done with the series itself because of this.  Again, not shaming anyone who likes it, not even asking anyone to approach it critically.  Please, ignore that one shitty joke and enjoy it otherwise.  It deserves to be enjoyed and you deserve to enjoy it.  I just…can’t.  I saw a character I imprinted on doing something that goes heavily against my morals for the sake of a joke and I’m too stubborn of a person to try again when something like that happens.  (Note that if it was something they were reprimanded for or it was part of the story and taken seriously, it would’ve been different.  But this was a joke, an offensive joke at the expense of “different” people, and I watched Aggretsuko because I thought it didn’t have any of that.)

I’ll give ya two short, actual opinions that idk if they’re unpopular or not but you can have them anyways since you sent me three fires and also this is more of a rant than an opinion: I tend to find that people avoid communication too much and we should make a greater attempt at asking people “how do you feel?” because even people who say “yeah, tell me whatever if there’s a problem!” tend to avoid talking about it if they can, and boysenberry/blackberry frozen yogurt is fucking valid as fuck and you’re all cowards if you disagree

right!! it’s like a main priority for me in character building! ohoooo that combo is very interesting, because i feel like aquarius and scorpio are not really compatible, in that aquarius influence can make you very distant and unwilling to address your emotions and their importance, but your moon (which controls your emotions) is SO preoccupied with exactly that, which might exacerbate that scorpio intensity because you feel that constant pull between hiding and revealing your true emotions. but then taurus rising kind of balances it out and makes you at least appear to be level headed? so even if you’re suffering on the inside at least people think u got it all together.

Yay, we won immunity! Finally made an alliance chat with Franco, Michele, and Eliza. We are a fantastic quadrant, and we make a tidy majority, though I’m sure we’re gonna have swap soon. I’m honestly not feeling Gregg anymore. If we had gone to tribal, I would have pushed to get him voted out but like, not pushy like because that’s how the vote gets flipped on you. Lenny might be a weak link too? Who knows. At least worm is excellent. I hope susan gets eliminated from redemption. Honestly... I respect her, but I don’t miss the energy.

Also, earlier in the day, Maxyne and I had a little chat about working closely together in the game. I really like Maxyne, so this works out for me. I will keep them as a covert operator away from my big majority alliance. Sooooo we lost the immunity challenge, which I’m not surprised about because I personally had no motivation to try and learn a whole new language and alphabet...But regardless I did my best and at least not he worst. I’m fine with us losing because it just means losing a less-active player, and gives us a tribal to strengthen the alliance that is myself, Erick, fae, Elle, cranjes, and Van. I really like this group of people. Erik, fae, elle, and I have been working together to try and find a damn idol but so far our hunt has only brought us to the other tribes camp

Anyway!! I now have 2 alliances!! Rain has been talking to me about getting an alliance for a while now, but they arent,,, the best at consistent communication and enacting plans. But I can't judge because that's definitely not my strongest suit either. They brought in Michele and Eliza which i think is HILARIOUS since us three already have our own alliance. It just kinda works. Rain doesn't strike me as a super strong player but theyre fun to have around, at the very least it's another number and perspective for Michele, Eliza, and I. It just makes our trio stronger than we already are!!

That’s all I have but I Think Maynor might be also be playing, but he is also currently about to win an atomic so maybe not? Zoe and Ellie are probably here too. Maybe Stephen? Is that a stretch? Only time will tell.

OHMYGOD I FOUND AN IDOL this is what happened oh my god i’m screaming so i told erick i voted for him for the idol bc he started talking about ghost adventures and i love ghost adventures so in turn he shared the clue with me. it said something about tedious tasks, and idk why but i had to look at the top of the waterfall. under all the little stones. and there she was. i’m gonna cry this is so exciting. is anyone gonna find out? no. hell to the motherfuckin no. this is my secret and my secret only.

So my tribe won immunity! That in its self is very exciting just because of how hard I work. We were very lucky though with all disadvantages because our asses would have been handed to us if not. Tribe wise, since we won I can take this chance to create tighter bonds with everyone. Part of me feels as though Jay may decide to add some twists to the game like an early tribe swap. If this does occur I want to be ready so I don't get swap fucked. Overall I think my relationships with everyone are good and can help me get to the merge. The only person that I don't have a decent bond with is Gregg, I don't think anyone does though. He isn't too active in the tribe so unless he is doing a lot of socializing behind the scenes I don't think anyone is too close to him. Now I know I'm safe so I shouldn't need to worrying about targets and who to get out when I have to go to my next tribal council, but I think I just like having a plan even if it doesn't need to come to fruition. So right now this plan is just in a passive state and is only told here.

Also fuck these idols. During my search I've only found a big egg and sand. What kind of tomfoolery is this! I have a feeling an idol has already been found, especially because Franco was given a clue to where it is hidden. But Im gonna keep going cause maybe I might find some more cool shit.

I’m quite concerned about possibly being voted out tonight because I’m not that social and that is concerning. Looking at all my messages though I have responded and the other people left me on read so like that’s why some conversations ended. Right now I get good vibes from Cranjes. Do I think I’m gonna go voted out though...yes, yes I do. Will I stay on redemption for a while...hopefully. But that doesn’t mean I’m giving up for the vote tonight, I’m going to try until the end because that’s what I know best.

Some of these damn people are gonna make me lose it, also at this point I think I’ve tried to clock my whole tribe + Elle as Raffy, I swear at least one of them is raffy, Franco and Michele I’m looking at you. I will find him. Anywho, I think it’s about time I give my early game analysis of everyone! I’ll even give my analysis of the alliances I’m in for extra fun. 

Let’s start with alliances!

Elfranchele: Includes: Eliza (Ellie), Franco, Michele I honestly think this alliance could go far, my two beautiful meat shields whom I love ever so much! Right now at this pre merge stage I believe that we’re the core that’s going to be controlling the votes until swap/merge, and honestly I’m pretty ok with it. I’d love to go far with these two! Named alliance: Includes: Eliza (Ellie), Franco, Michele, Rain

This alliance formed because rain wanted it to, they didn’t realize that elfranchele exists, and it’s goo that no one knows of it. I like rain and think I could work with them but considering that someone already wants them out, I’ll be working with them for however long it’s going to benefit my game, love then as a person but I don’t want a target on my back. (Y’all like the playing style I’m trying this time??? It’s new for me ain’t it) People!

Franco: Ugh, I’d literally die for Franco, but I can’t attach myself to him, I need to remain a free agent although Franco is definitely my #1 as of now, I mean he gave me half of a super idol for fucks sake. As long as I find the idol before he does it’ll be great, because I already know that both Franco and I are good social players, so having an idol that I don’t have to share with him/that he doesn’t know about? Beautiful! I want to go far with Franco, but I’d prefer to go a tad bit farther than him.

Michele: We love Michele, her humor is great and I love the whole elfranchele alliance, Michele is the same story as Franco basically, minus the fact that she doesn’t know about the super idol. I think Michele and I could definitely work very well together because as of right now I have no reason not to trust her. Franco is still my top person right now but I still love Michele and want to go far with her.

Rain: Rain is fun! We love them, people are already suspicious of them and that does not look very good, hopefully it’s just Lenny overthinking but I’ll be wary of that. I love rain and want to work with them but they’re not someone I absolutely NEED to go far with. This time I’m trying to stick with people only when they benefit me, that’s very new for me because I’m generally a very very strong social player that gets everyone to like them and then I pick a side and stay. But I’m try to branch out more this time!

Tristin and Worm: These two are kinda the same story for me so I’m grouping them together before this gets too long, I love them both and they are generally great people to have conversations with. I could see myself working with them very long term. I told worm about Lenny wanting rain so that I could gain Worm’s trust and it definitely worked so that’s great! I love these two and think that I’ll be able to work with them without anyone suspecting that we’re actually working together.

Gregg and Lenny: They don’t really do anything, I mean Lenny wanted rain out but other than that? These two have made no real impact and haven’t done anything, if we lose again I see one of those two going. Ok that’s it y’all, sorry if this was too long!! Have a great day.

Frank is definitely going to make their way out of the door today. He has not really been fighting for his spot at all, so it should be an easy vote. I felt like I got closer to Cranjes/John earlier in the day, so I feel good that we will be tight if I keep going for it. Finally, it seems someone has already found something in the idol hunt since I searched a spot that used to have something in it. I hope I grow close to whoever it is so that they will not use their item against me. But I feel pretty comfortable with my place in the tribe, however that is when I am the most vunerable.

Van It’s been a pretty chill day ngl. The Big Alliance™️ has pretty much decided who’s going home due to inactivity and just generally not caring about the game. Talk of Sasha has gone around, but everyone is still voting frank as of right now.

I’m super happy that we won the challenge. I don’t have to worry about sending another player from out tribe to redemption island. However, this round Michele tempted me with the possibility of voting out someone big. She didn’t say who but I told her I was interested. I’m here for chaos gorls. Currently I’m solidifying a F2 with Worm because they’re cool and I like them. We also talked about voting off Gregg which is cool because Gregg is currently our weakest link. Also for the sake of the edgic, I must mention that I SEE lenny but she doesn’t do much which is a negative to me. She’s just barely above Gregg on my totem poll.

So since we are safe my mind is wandering. After playing enough orgs, my gut is telling me that there is already an alliance in place on my tribe. I first suspected in when Franco won the reward with 5 votes. Then after we lost I talked to Michele maybe 5 minutes after it was posted and she said that she already talked to some people and that they all seem to be on board with getting rid of Susan. And then today, Eliza told me that Lenny wanted to get rid of Rain last round and that her and a few others got Lenny to change her mind and go for Susan. This conversation had me concerned cause I haven't had many conversation about strategy other than confirming the Susan vote and few people saying they want to work with me.I digress on that. As I continued to talk to Eliza she then mentioned that Rain doesn't know about Lenny targeting them unless either Michele or Franco told them. So my brain connected some possible dots I kinda came to the conclusion that Eliza, Franco, Lenny, and Michele are working together (or at least Eliza, Franco, and Michele). I don't want to put the cart before the horse but I might need to see if I can solidify an alliance with Tristin and Rain (if they would only communicate with me :'( ). Not gonna reveal any of theses gut feelings yet but I'm gonna keep researching and seeing if my gut feelings are correct. And if the are I need to figure out if I wanna be messy if we go to tribal soon or just ride it until merge. I can go with the flow and just be social and go with the numbers but that might not be whats best for the long term of my game. There is so much mystery in this game that everything feels like a poor decision. I feel like the confused lady meme right now and its only the second round. For right now I am happy but I am fully aware that anything can happen in the next few hours. I am going to try and maintain the conversations that I’ve had today throughout the game so I can be seen as more social. I just want to do well.

I hope people in the tribe like me. I am not sure if I want to start an alliance with franco and worm or one with michele and eliza or both. I also think Tristan is a good person to have on my side. Okie dokie, so long story short we lost challenge and I think the plan is to vote Frank off unless it's a ruse to kill me instead. Tribals are always nerve wracking cause you never know what's gonna happen until it happens, and when it does happen... it's too late. I think i've been making good progress socially. I'm playing up the humor side as I usually do cause every tribe needs a clown. I'd be happy to fill that role it'll take me far. I don't think I'm a social threat as of right now but I would like to say that my tribe likes me. I didn't build the connection as much as I would like to this round since people came to me and I didn't come to them which doesn't always fly well. Hopefully if i survive tribal which is *checks time* a few minutes from now, i'd like to work more on my connections. Right now, it seems like Elle is the top of my personal leaderboard but i wanna expand my options. Also the idol hunt? Trash. I'd like to speak with the manager. This game has been really good to our tribe. We havent gone to tribal. I have a majority alliance of 4. Everyone is active and does 100% on the challenges. Its been good. Havent had much luck in idol hunt tho so probably someone already found it. Still nervous for the challenge. I want to keep winning but the bad thing in the eyes for the other tribe.

The game is always changing... and someone quitting just shows how quickly everything can change in the game. Plans set forward destroyed... alliances ruined just due to what the game might throw at you at any given time. Although I am in the minority right now based on tribal lines, Nathan is someone I've wanted to work with for like eons, and I feel so much more comfortable with him on my tribe than James and letting Annabelle hold my fate in her hands.  I think I have an upward battle, but I know Charlie has the idol and will warn Sharky in the case I need Charlie to use it on himself.  The two from my OG tribe I got stuck with is by far the only two from Dinah that I would go out of my way to protect in this game and knowing Charlie has the idol... ugh... Okay so this challenge was...a disaster. I asked everyone to just do the song and then I'd make it look good with editing. That didn't work out. And I had more trouble editing than i thought. I feel like I dropped the ball and I'm not sued to being someone holding my tribe back. I tried to hide our bad lipsyncers. Charlie got sick. And something happened in the rush of uploading it that gave me a weird crop and a couple of cuts that I screwed up but I ran out of time. I'm feeling really disappointed in myself.

Okay we lost. This sucks. two of the judges called out the edit/effort specifically so that doesn't feel great. But I'm going to look at this as a positive. Maynor and Dennis stay safe on the other tribe. And Now I can use this to make some real connections and alliances on this tribe. Like Chad Michaels I will rise from the ashes and be the gayest winningest phoenix you have ever seen.

So we lost the challenge, but I don't feel too... bad about that.  I mean if I go home, clearly I fucked the fuck up and felt too confident... but I think that I feel... good?

Firstly, thank you to the judges for recognizing my SNAP in the lip sync.  I wasn't sure they were going to do my rap in the challenge, so I'm glad it was in there hehe... Now... going to tribal is a part of the game and the strategy has been lacking up till now, so I'm excited to jump in and finally explore that part of the game.  It'll be a nice start to my resume, following accidentally make James quit LMFAO.

Right now, I think I'm in a solid spot.  Nick said he wouldn't vote for me and I mean.. we haven't talked much, but I expect him to not lie for no reason... and I'm going to make sure to increase our conversation and expand on what HE wants to happen to just have that tea under my belt.  I think Jayden is who I would like gone, and I think I'd be able to gather the votes to get that to happen.  It's not like I have anything against him personally, but I just feel it's hardest to talk to him because him and I are not alike from what I've gathered.  I'm the uber gay and for the uber gay and the Travis Scott fanboy to get along?  Would be shocking.

I like Annabelle and Nathan a lot and I don't think they'd throw votes for me.  I have my little final 2 deal going on with Nathan, but highkey I don't think I'd keep him as my #1 over Marie, if I get to the point where I meet with her, so I have no problem cutting him or Annabelle in the future.  I do think it'd be better to work WITH them, especially for now, and I think they feel similar sentiments, but I don't know for sure!

So we swapped tribes and here I am with 3 from my original tribe, 3 from the other tribe and Bryce from the third tribe. Ugh okay so I was hoping for a simple easy vote. But as usual there is just a little bit of drama. Nick told Anna/Nathan that he has a legacy advantage to be used at F13/F6 which is trash because that means if we lose next time he'll use that and be safe. But if we vote him out he'll gift it to Jayden and we have the same problem. Plus Charlie is wigging out because he has a bad feeling about the vote, which is totally fair because he isn't talking very much. And Nick told Anna her name got thrown out which is just untrue. This is just kind of messy and not in a cute way.

hmmm idk what to tell you about making them too light or too dark, because that’s a very specific thing that really depends on the picture. BUT i know that the dodge tool is my bff for brightening up dark pictures while still retaining some of the darker elements you want in them (aversely, the burn tool will help darken parts), messing with the exposure can also really help, coloring can also help too, selective color is my bff especially with blue shadows and orangey skin...this is kind of a broad answer, i’m sorry, but if you needed help with something specific, let me know!

i answered this like two weeks ago but i can’t find it so whateveR i’ve used cc tears a few times but there’s only like three of those in existence and my characters have cried a LOT. i feel like it would be kinda weird if they had the same tears every time. also there are just some variations that i like to customize myself by drawing, like sometimes they’ll be full on sobbing, sometimes just one single tear...it just depends on the situation, that’s why i draw ‘em.

Would you recommend buying a macbook for playing sims?

if a macbook is what you already have, then yeah, i’d say it suffices without many problems. if you’re specifically going out and buying a computer with the knowledge that you’ll be playing sims on it, then mmmmmm i’d probably say no...but it also depends on if you’re like gonna get REALLY into storytelling and cc n shit or if it’s just casual gameplay with a mods folder that’s like 5 gb or less...if it’s the latter i think it should also be fine. but yeah it just depends on what kind of gaming you’re planning on doing.

hi hello so maybe I am just a blind bean but may I ask how in god's name do you get your images to be so crisp? I have everything set up, but it seems as if when I do my thing in Photoshop, everything turns out lookin like a blobfish. OMG well it’s mostly just resizing, smart sharpening, and most importantly topaz clean (see above) that makes them so crisp. i also use the sharpen tool on sims’ faces, and the smudge tool when something is particularly pixelated or whatever. everything i do is listed in here! UR NOT A WUSS *hugs you in spanish*

Am I the only one who's like... really mad about pets being NPCs? I just feel like being able to control them was the best part. I don't really feel like the EP is worth it without them. Like, don't get me wrong, I understand that the team worked really hard on it, but I feel like they didn't do it as well as they could have.

hmm i’m kind of meh on that front because like on one hand i did like controlling pets and the novelty of the fact that you could just see their different interactions firsthand, but ultimately i think i’m okay with not controlling them because it makes it more realistic for me and honestly they’re probably more likely to take care of themselves a little bit more if they’re automated, because i’m just thinking about ts3 pets and how i literally had to make them go pee outside otherwise they’d pee in the house...even if they were well trained and stuff lmao. plus there might be a cheat or mod that lets you control them, like there was in ts2? so don’t lose hope yet.

Ok I gotta rant. GoT does NOT deserve the hype/amazing ratings. Like, sure the cinematography is pretty great and they have ok actors but the freaking script is so mediocre I actually think I could write a better one. Me. A 16 y/o tiny child. There are so much better shows out there! Hell, even Supernatural has a better script than GoT

whenever ppl agree with me about how much GoT sucks i grow stronger and stronger even the actors are iffy at this point. watching daenerys act is painful, jon snow is wooden as hell, it’s just bad. ur 16 yr old self has more potential than these writers tbh. it’s just completely mediocre; it started out as something great because it followed the same layered storytelling pattern as the books, but it’s diverged from that completely because the writers got too caught up in the hype. and you’re right, it doesn’t deserve that hype! omfdkjsgkj i’ve never watched supernatural but i haven’t heard good things. that’s a low bar
