Last season, anon?? I mean, that's quick! But I have no room to talk, I was watching their scenes and was like, jokingly thinking to myself, "ugh, get married" and then realized that while it's much too, FAR too early for that, I can see Lauren proposing and not even in just a green card Marina way but just because she's Like That.

But no, I don't think they'll go there this season unless it's for plot reasons. With everything else going on, Lauren proposing would probably get laughed at just like the breakup attempt because Leyla'd be like, "I don't know what you think you're doing but it's way too soon. Now eat, dinner's getting cold."

Heh, that height difference! Kate had to sit down on the couch back for Lucy to reach her! Honestly, this was surprising more b/c normally any sort of romantic interest between characters on NCIS shows moves slow as molasses (on the order of years, if they even get together at all!), though I guess here they're establishing that Lucy and Kate are already sort of involved. Hopefully they'll get more than Gregorio ever did. Was it just Meghan Ory as her possible ex and Eva?

The height difference was so huge right from the start! Though Kate was wearing heels in the first meeting.

Yeah, it was and wasn't surprising. These shows do usually draw these out, but even with the occasional het couple, they'll pull a surprise "actually they're exes" in the first ep.

I think for f/f, though, or same sex in general, they did it off the bat because a bunch of people wouldn't realize they were queer until whichever ep they actually kissed in and then they'd be like, wow, it's so forced and out of nowhere, can't women just be friends/they seemed like sisters to me! And perhaps also the show wanted their rep points immediately. :o

There were a few offscreen dates mentioned for Gregorio and then as the most recent, final season was drawing to a close, they gave her someone a bit more serious, and talked through Gregorio's commitment issues and even saw her on a date with and who she moved in with. So all that was nice and all, but I'll remain a Gregorio/Eva shipper to the end! I wonder if without covid they coulda got her in for more appearances? But maybe not, Cassidy Freeman's been pretty busy herself.

It is amazing how there is more f/f rep in all shows lately in every country of the world, i mean asia specially korea and china and many countries not just asia, i love that step by step lesbian, bi, trans, and more gay rep is growing and everyone has some story or character that represents them and feel identified with them we are going in a good path, crosing fingers that this will be in crescendo🤗👏🏻

Yeah, it's definitely noticeable! I'm already now impatiently waiting for the next kdrama, for example, lol.

But yeah, like, this is one of the good sides to the Internet, where people can consume more visible rep from other places and enjoy it and then often make their own. Very cool and definitely hoping it's just the start.
