there’s a 5 page essay hidden in my brain somewhere but the gist of it is uhhh something something i wish they’d just let steve be single and happy with his best friend and im so very tired of characters being randomly forced together (in this case stancy) bc ppl think it isn’t a happy ending if any of the main characters don’t have a romantic partner.

like. he literally gave a speech on how he’s over nancy & how robin is better for him. why does that suddenly have to change? robin is still better for him, just as a best friend. that’s not any less important than a girlfriend.

it’s just. so obvious that when maya pushed for lesbian robin (i love her) & therefore changed the original plan of robin becoming steve’s girlfriend they were like “well god damn it now their relationship doesn’t matter anymore. hm who else can we throw at steve. hey let’s recycle the stale love triangle even though it doesn’t make a lick of sense anymore” and idk it’s just… kinda depressing tbh

i’ve been on the clock app now and then for a couple months now and at first i was like ok looks like theres more metal/metalcore/emo whatever the fuck ppl call it content here than on tumblr this is kinda nice. then i spend like 5 more minutes in there and i’m so confused. what the hell is 2020 alt. why are people fighting THAT much over which specific subgenre of metal is Real Metal. i keep getting horrible recommendations like that TX2 guy. i saw someone say slipknot is a tiktok band now. who is sleep token. i feel like very few of these people have been outside. the only normal people seem to be the people making edits of andy biersack but i think his acc is gone now so idk what happened there either
