“You know,” Fernando says, closing the door behind him and pulling his race suit down around his hips. “I thought with you retired, I’d be seeing less of you.”

Lewis opens one eye, arms folded back behind his head, all stretched out in a long line of muscle and tattoos and jeans low on his hips. His shirt is rising up, strip of skin flashing. Fernando wants to shape his tongue flat along his stomach. “Your bed is very comfy in here, did you know that?”

Fernando rolls his eyes, toeing off his shoes. Lewis grumbles as Fernando shuffles him over, slipping a leg between his, hands curling under Lewis’s back in search of warmth.

The door opens, jacket unzipped, shoes being kicked off. “Fuck, I forgot how nice the biscuits are here. You never bring any home to me which is a very big red flag on your part, Alonso.”

Fernando groans, face buried into the side of Lewis’s neck. Lewis laughs beside him, “You’re spending way too much time with Mick, baby.”

Sebastian’s elbows are as bony as they used to be years ago when they first started this. Fernando tries kicking him away but Lewis just laughs harder, pulling Seb into the middle of them. Fernando retaliates by shoving his cold hands down Sebastian’s shirt instead. The bastard just moans, loud and obscene and overly exaggerated like those bad pornos Mark used to recommend.

Ferwis, but the one word prompt is Vettel

“Where’s Vettel?” Fernando snaps, hair messy, race suit down around his hips. There’s a shadow of a mark under his left ear. Lewis squints at him for a second, wondering if it’s the hickey Seb was mocking Lewis about leaving the other day. He says Vettel like he means something else, the t’s sharp and l rolling. He says Vettel like if the cameras weren’t here and they were somewhere darker, he’d be saying something else.

Lewis rolls his eyes, settling into the car. “I don’t know, man. Probably asleep on someone somewhere, or checking data.”

The sun is low and vibrant in the sky, burnt orange spilling across clouds, bleeding into a navy so deep it looks like black. The car is smooth and fluid under his hands, he can feel the vibrations down in his toes. He grins, if anyone could believe god, they’d believe it here.
