MULTIMUSE QUESTIONAIRE
RULES: Answer the questions with the Muses that would best fit the answers. Bonus if you give details why. If tagged, copy and paste into a new post – DO NOT REBLOG!
(Since this is a single-muse blog, I'm going to include muses I've played on other blogs. I'm not going to include every muse I've ever written though because 1. it already feels funny talking about muses that 99% of my followers have never seen me write, and 2. some of them were very short-lived. So I'm only including the ones that I've written most or were most significant, plus my newest one that I haven't written yet, since they've been on my mind a lot lately.)
1) Rank your softest Muse and your toughest Muse. (Personality-wise) - Strictly personality-wise, softest to toughest: Ted Logan (Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure), Max Caulfield (Life is Strange), Izaya Orihara (Durarara!!), Amaimon (Blue Exorcist), Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen), Negan, Levi Ackerman (Attack on Titan.) This is kind of funny though because aside from Ted and Max, none of these characters can really be considered "soft."
2) Which Muse would blow through $1000 quickly? - Gojo. But he's also rich rich, so $1000 is nothing to him. He canonically owns shirts that cost more than that. Aside from him, I think if you gave Ted $1000 he could easily blow it all on music gear and albums pretty quickly lol.
3) Do any of them have nicknames? Is there a meaning behind them? - Negan has been called "Neegs" by a few, but not many can get away with that. "Ted" is short for Theodore, and "Max" is short for Maxine (never call Max by her full name, she hates it.)
4) Are any of them up-to-speed on the latest trends? Anyone more old school? - Ted, Gojo, and Max are most likely to be up-to-speed on trends, but Max appreciates the old school stuff (she prefers analog cameras over digital for her photography, for instance.) Levi and Negan are more old school, though Negan might attempt to learn trends to seem cool to his students/the kids (it rarely works.)
5) Who has the best relationship with their siblings? - Three of them have siblings: Ted, Izaya, and Amaimon. Ted and his little brother probably have the best relationship, at least as kids, though he deals with insecurity and envy as their dad clearly favors his brother. Izaya has two sisters who are twins and about ten years his junior. Their parents were abroad for work so much that he basically raised them, but his bad influence played part in them turning out eccentric. Their relationship is complicated and a bit love/hate. Amaimon has six brothers and a sister. They are all demons (literally, they are children of Satan lol.) He's only seen interacting with one which I interpret him to have a neutral to positive relationship with. I don't see him having a close relationship with any of the others. But I also haven't read or watched the series in years, so I have no idea if more has been revealed.
6) Karaoke night! Who is likely to grab the mic first and bust out a tune? - Ted. Max will join him with some encouragement. Negan if he's had a few drinks.
7) Who is least likely to enter a beauty pageant/model? - Levi (he could actually probably do well as a model, but suggest this and he'll vehemently deny it.) Also Amaimon because he doesn't spend much time on Earth and probably doesn't even know what a beauty pageant is.
8) If your Muses visited a haunted house where actors scare you, who would panic and who would be unfazed? - Ted and Max would be panicking (but they're having a blast.) Levi and Amaimon are unfazed.
9) Are any of your Muses particular about taking certain modes of transportation? - Not really. Max does get nervous about airplanes and Izaya prefers to walk or take a taxi/public transport. Gojo doesn't drive and either takes the train/subway, has his assistant drive him, or teleports/warps short distances since he can do that lol.
10) Share a little-known fact about any Muse. - So I can't really think of anything, but I have twd verses for most of my muses that I never got to use/talk about so I'mma ramble on about little things about them here. Ted - and Bill - were following a band on tour that summer, and were at a music venue in the Atlanta area when the outbreak hit. Bill's dad died saving them the first day, and they and Missy go on to survive traveling around in their RV for a while. Max found an old vintage photography store shortly after the outbreak and took as many packs of polaroid film as she could realistically carry. She continues taking photos, not just to document the new world but to also capture small moments of beauty and happiness within her group. Gojo acts nonchalant about the apocalypse until he loses his best friend to a walker bite, after which he essentially shuts down and locks himself in a room with the (restrained) walker for days, refusing to let anyone in. He even attempts to remove its jaw/hands to keep it with him (kind of like Michonne did), and it wasn't until after that he finally killed it. He puts on a big smile and acts fine, but the unresolved anger and grief come out in spades whenever he goes up against walkers. Izaya and his sisters are in an airport preparing to fly back to Japan when the outbreak hits, and get stranded in the Virginia/DC area. A group takes them in out of pity, despite Izaya giving them the creeps. But when his sisters are eaten in a large walker attack, the group abandons him, and he's presumed dead. Months later, cue The Saviors showing up with Izaya at Negan's side as one of his lieutenants. Surprise! Levi meets up with his uncle, the only family he has, when the outbreak happens. It doesn't take long for them to start butting heads morally - his uncle is much quicker to warm up to the idea of stealing and killing. But they stick together until they're separated while fighting a horde, and Levi's been on his own ever since, unsure if he's alive. He's eventually taken in by Alexandria, but has a hard time adjusting. I don't have anything set for Amaimon, but he's naturally violent and off-putting and very likely ends up with the Whisperers or becomes a cannibal or something lol.
tagged by: @wexarethewalkingxdead tagging: @esoterium @survivoirs @chitteringbeast and anyone else that'd like to do this (y'all are the only active mutuals I know that have multiple muses and weren't already tagged I don't think??)

Tagged by the amazing @icedteaandoldlace-- 20 questions for fic writers! Thank you!
How many works do you have on A03?
102
What's your total AO3 word count?
625,524
What fandoms do you write for?
In order of most stories to least (posted on AO3):
The Flash, Stranger Things, Young Justice, the MCU, Encanto, Lego Ninjago, Star Trek: Next Generation, Arrow, and Superman & Lois.
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
It Takes Two to Survive (Stranger Things)
2. Begging on my Knees (why won't you believe me?) (Stranger Things)
3. 5 Times Steve Helped the Kids and the 1 Time They Helped Him (Stranger Things)
4. One in the Same (Stranger Things)
5. Loosened Grip (Stranger Things)
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
It always depends, I always would love to say "thank you" because I am indeed super thankful for all of the comments that I get, but sometimes my anxiety gets the better of me and I'm too scared to reply, (I overthink a lot, and think that what I say could be considered weird, to put it simply). It's something I'm trying to get over, but if my anxiety is bad I usually have to wait to respond to comments and then I sometimes forget to reply.
What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
This one was hard to find. Although I write a lot of angst, most of my fics have a happy ending, or at least one where things are looking up. However, one of my Stranger Things fics, Flayed, ended with Steve's mom kicking him out of the house and disowning him. I would say that that's one of the angstiest endings that I found within my fics.
What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Probably Avalanche, a fic I wrote in The Flash fandom. It ends with Cisco and Kamilla having twins, and it's all happiness and fluff. Even thinking about it makes me smile!
Do you get hate on fics?
Not usually, I've gotten some comments/questions about changing my fics to be different, or criticizing a choice I made, but I haven't gotten any major hate (at least none that I know of).
Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
No, I'm not a smut writer.
Do you write crossovers?
Only if they're in the same "universe", like the Arrowverse. I've done an Arrow and The Flash crossover, and a Superman & Lois and The Flash crossover as well.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I did have someone comment saying that one of my fics was stolen and posted elsewhere, but I was never able to find proof, so I'm not sure. It wasn't for one of my most popular fics, and for that I'm thankful.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, but I think that that would be super cool to experience! I would be so happy if one of my fics was translated! The only thing I would ask for, though, was for my fic to be tagged in the translated one, and that I was given credit for the original story.
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No, I haven't, but that sounds like a fun idea! I think I would find it to be a challenge, though, as I find it a bit hard working as a team. Group projects in school were so hard for me lol.
What's your all-time favorite ship to write for?
I don't write much for romance, but I would have to pick Artemis Crock/Wally West from Young Justice. I haven't written a fic for them in a while, but they are so sweet together! I find their relationship easy to write for, too.
What's a WIP you want to finish, but but doubt you ever will?
This one was easy to think of for me. I had begun a MCU story called The Warehouse, where Peter and other kids with powers were homeless but eventually met Tony Stark. I loved the idea, and I still do, but it's been so long since I've touched it and I don't think that I'll get to it in a long time, if not at all. It's a bit heartbreaking, because I love the story so much, but I just won't have time to get back to it.
What are your writing strengths?
Angst. I think that I can write pretty good angst and whump, as it's basically all I write. I can write the initial experience of angst well, and the hurt/comfort after comes really easy for me. I also think that I can write really good platonic relationships.
What are your writing weaknesses?
Romance. I feel like whenever I write any sort of romantic relationship it feels a bit forced. I'm not sure it it's true or not, but I wish that I was better at writing people in love. I also struggle a lot with deep dialogue, I always feel like I make it sound cheesy lol. I would love to get better at describing scenery and movement, too, as well as fight scenes. I also struggle a lot making summaries and titles.
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I think it's awesome! I think I've only used a few words in a different language in my fics, as I only speak a bit of French and I'm terrified of using Google translate too much and getting the translation wrong. If I ever learned a different language, I would totally include it in my fics, with the translation, if it fit into the story.
First fandom you wrote for?
Lego Ninjago! It was the fandom that got me into writing fanfiction, and it helped my writing improve a lot. I was (and still am, to a degree) a big Jay fan.
Favorite fic you've written?
AAHHHHH HOW CAN I PICK????
Let me think here...
I think it would have to be my longest fic, It Takes Two to Survive, for the Stranger Things fandom. Not only was I able to write a fanfic that was 160k words long (which I'm still shocked and so thankful about), but I loved seeing the storyline develop, as well as friendships. It's a story I enjoy reading, and I love how far it came. When I look back at this fic, I'm reminded that I can write something crazy long, that I can write a good storyline, and that I can write character development without loosing sight of the plot, and for that I'm so thankful. I feel like I did the impossible with this fic, and that's probably why it's my favorite.
I do have to mention my second longest fic though, Avalanche, for The Flash fandom. It was a lot like It Takes Two to Survive, but I feel like this fic was one of my best stories in regards to romance, and writing it was so fun! It was really focused on the idea of surviving the worst pain to protect the one you love, and to see them again, which I think is so sweet! I also got to write Cisco and Kamilla having a family, which was awesome! I haven't read the fic in a while, so I honestly don't remember much, but I really love that fic, too!
I love so many of my stories though, I can only think of a few that I didn't like.

Thanks again for the tag, @icedteaandoldlace, this was so fun!!
I'm not sure who to tag so if anyone sees this and wants to do it feel free to!

Thank you @hobbitwrangler for tagging me! <3
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
155...I've had the same account since I was 17 XD (although I have definitely deleted things since then)
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
855,882
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Generally I only write for one fandom at a time, and right now that's all things Tolkien.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Transcript of Divorce Proceedings: Mairon v. Melkor with 170 kudos (Angbang, Tolkien)
Surprise Developments (Recalculating) (Solavellan, Dragon Age)
The Sleeping King (Thorinduil, Tolkien)
Laying a Foundation (Thorinduil, Tolkien)
You're going out like that? (Maglor & family, Tolkien)
5. Do you respond to comments?
Almost always, because it's really important to me that commenters know how much I appreciate their taking the time to leave their thoughts
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Angstiest? That's hard to say (。﹏。)
Haunted, Hunted is pretty angst, but also the ending is pretty much parallel to canon, so I can't really take credit for that one.
Sandbox Love is angsty in the true sense of the word I think, because the central grief of it is that Luthien does not seem to return Galadriel's interest in her.
OH and there's my first-ever Silm fic, which focused on Anaire in the wake of the rebellion of the Noldor, that's pretty angsty First Ruins of the Noldor
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Also hard to answer. I feel like I've written a lot of emotional fluff which is tonally "happy" even if the ending isn't a "happily ever after." Any of the trio of flash fics I wrote about Silm parent/child relationships would qualify.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Once in a while
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Do I lol My percentage of smut fics has skyrocketed in the last three years.
10. Do you write crossovers?
Very rarely, because they usually don't compel me. However in February I did write a Silm/Crimson Peak crossover, Fruit of the Family Tree.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
If it happened I don't know about it
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yes! <3
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Technically no...one time as a teenager I agreed to do it, but I totally failed to uphold my end of that bargain ;;;; I would have to feel pretty close to someone at this point to agree to cowrite.
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
All-time forever? idk. Silm OTP is Feanor/Nerdanel though. I believe in marriage counseling 🫶
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Any WIPs I currently have are all effectively discarded. If I can't finish a WIP or make significant progress on it within a few weeks, I can almost guarantee it will never be completed.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Scenery descriptions and subplots
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
Generally I think it serves only to distract and frustrate the reader. If they happen to speak that language it's fine, but in the majority of cases they probably don't, and it doesn't really fulfill any purpose. If they're not familiar with the language, especially if it has a different alphabet from the one you're using for the rest of the fic, a reader isn't even going to know what that dialogue sounds like, let alone what it says. If I include it--and I try not to--I always include an immediate translation in the same line of dialogue. Having to scroll to the bottom and then back up for a translation is super frustrating and as a reader, I usually will not bother, so I don't expect my readers to either.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Star Wars
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
Honestly, I couldn't come even close to picking one

📚📔📖 thats 3 different book emojis i found on my phone but pls tell me as many as you want to!
You know, it's really hilarious to me how differently emojis are displayed between interfaces. These are still all books, but they look COMPLETELY different between my phone and my laptop XD Anyway!
📚 (a stack of books on my comp): So i might have mentioned this one here, and i KNOW i've mentioned it on my discord server, but.. a P5R+Strikers/Bleach crossover, where Persona 5 MC is related to Ishida Ryuuken, and the PT place that Ryuji goes to after P5R is done is in Karakura, and P5-MC's parents see that MC is missing his friends, have a quiet talk with each other, and decide that, while they can't impose on Sakura-san again so soon after doing so, they CAN arrange for Ishida Ryuuken to be parental-stand-in so that they can send MC to Karakura to be with Ryuji and (significantly closer to) his other friends that he made. The story itself starts after P5R is complete, and ends up covering bits of Strikers and Bleach's first arc, with some timeline finagling to make it all work out because lol that's a LOT for a single summer break.
Also featuring Joker making the Karakura folks go ?????????????? a lot (especially Kisuke), Akechi being Actually Dead But It's Okay, We Find Him Within Ten Seconds Of Breaking Into Soul Society (and make the Karakura folks go ??????????? even more), and Hoo Boy There Are A Lot Of Palaces In This Here Seireitei, Let's Fuck Em Up Team (making the Karakura folks go ???????????????????????????????????????????????????)
I want to write this one so bad but I need the brainspace for it because this ends up being a LOT OF CHARACTERS to balance, loool
📔 (a book with a parchment yellow cover): I have a sort of "swan-bride" AU with Erich/Ukitake/Kyoraku, except it's less "fae captured by person wanting partner" and more "Erich is a dragon that can shed his scales into a cloak and look human, and Ukitake and Kyoraku have to occassionally go into the fae-woods just outside the city in order to collect special herbs for Ukitake's illness, and they've managed to capture Erich's attention and his curiousity and they REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT THIS, OH NO, WE'RE DOOMED, WHY IS A DRAGON PAYING ATTENTION TO US AAAAHHH and Erich's just over here like "i am gifting you things, do you like them? have i pleased you? i think I might start courting you two because you're Interesting" and no one realizes that they're talking past each other until way late in the game.
📖 (open book): And in a completely different fandom, I have two whole time travel AUs in the Code Vein verse that I want to write. One of which is Jack being sent back (or getting visions? He's not sure and neither is the author!) to the moment he first gets his relic and fucking shit up from there in an effort to make fewer people die this time. The second is Code Vein MC and crew going back in time to the moment that the first mistle is created (so before even Operation Queenslayer starts, when the only thing everyone has to worry about is the Horrors) and being end game badasses in pre-pre-PRE-story territory and absolutely fucking shit up on purpose and with malice aforethought. MC's kinda along for the ride since he remembers none of this, but he's down to make the world a less horrifying place.
