But probably that is why Roche-Avicebron pairing ultimately fails, because not unlike Gordes-Siegfried, they don’t truly acknowledge each other as a person with a will of their own. All that links them is golem.

I always like Jeanne-Chiron teamwork they are very level headed and efficient and less screaming more doing.

The command seal negotiation is funnier in the novel because Kairi urges Mordred to do that and she doesn’t even have a clue if the seal can be transferred or not.

I kinda think Mordred is really cute in this episode. Like, drawn cute. When not screaming, anyway.

THE HERO WHO DOESN’T FEAR GOD THAT IS HIM, ASTOLFO!!!!

I never watch SAO, only seen some clips and openings, but pretty sure that double attack looks like something out of SAO than anything else.

….. Um, that looking away from explosion scene is way too awkward for me…

AAAAAH They censored it :(( Originally Mordred flips the bird instead of thumbs down and it is epic

Jeanne running into Sieg and holding his hands and Mordred looks at them both with a look way saltier than the sea.

“Wait you do romance stuffs? When? How? What? How?”

The scene pans out and magically Mordred is gone.

The fight scene is gr8, I like the focus on Jeanne, love it even more with Astolfo, but the looking away from explosion scene is just ???

Also look, I believe I am not as salty and quick to grab pitchfork when it comes to Jeanne x Sieg. In fact, I slightly like the pairing even with the bad writing.

BUT Just because you alter how they first meet doesn’t mean you can shove them towards each other in every single scene that’s NOT HOW YOU ROMANCE GDI.

The music is relaxing, the scenery is peaceful, but the tension between Kairi and Fiore is still as menacing as ever.
