This matching set includes a necklace and pair of earrings set with diamonds. To my knowledge the one and only time they were worn was in March 2023 for the IFR Awards Dinner, an event she attends annually.

HM wears an emerald and diamond brooch that belonged to Elizabeth II.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The diamond, sapphire, and emerald brooch was originally owned by Queen Mary who was photographed wearing it in the early 1900’s. One significant occasion which it was worn was in August 1909 when the British Royal Family was joined by Tsar Nicholas II and his family for the Cowes Regatta.
The brooches was inherited by Queen Elizabeth II who only wore it a handful of times publicly. It was photographed for Angela Kelly’s wonderful book Dressing The Queen, published after the Diamond Jubilee celebrations. ~~ British Royal Jewels IG

Enamel and diamond maple leaf brooch
Tumblr media
In 1901, King George and Queen Mary embarked on a lengthy tour of Canada and while in Montreal she was presented with this beautiful enamel and diamond maple leaf brooch.
A book published to commemorate the tour records, “Shortly atter dinner on Wednesday, a simple ceremony took place at Lord Strathcona’s residence, being the presentation to Their Royal Highnesses of mementos of their visit to Montreal by the members of the Citizen’s Reception Committee. That to the Duchess which was presented by Lady Strathcona and Mrs. Drummond, consisted of a spray of maple leaves wrought in gold and enamel and set with diamonds and pearls.
A newspaper of the time reported, “The jewel consists of a spray of six maple leaves mounted with diamonds. No two of the maple leaves are alike in form and colour. They are of solid eighteen-carat gold, beautifully enameled in delightfully delicate tones.”
Queen Elizabeth II inherited the brooch from Queen Mary but only wore it publicly twice, both during a visit to Canada in 2010. It has presumably since been inherited by King Charles III.

Crown Heirlooms
Tumblr media
Any jewels the Queen left as heirlooms of the crown will not be published but during her reign, the official gift receiving rule changed so that any gifts given in an official capacity are considered property of the royal collection, which passes from monarch to monarch.
So, in a way this can be looked at as heirlooms of the crown.

The brooch was a wedding gift to Queen Elizabeth II in 1947 from the Dowager Duchess of Portland. The late Queen was never photographed wearing it before gifting the jewel to Queen Camilla after her marriage.

In the 1970’s and 1980’s Princess Anne used a number of glittering combs and pins to accent her hair style. Many of them are set with diamonds or pearls. Unfortunately there’s no information publicly known about them. Due to their style it’s easy to imagine they are antique pieces used in the early 20th century by Queen Alexandra or Queen Mary. ~ British Royal Jewels IG
