TriSplit: A Boboiboy Inspired Splatoon Manga Story (a summary)

Loosely based on SplatRoad by Olive Waffles and KyRoad by KySketch.

cw// slight mention of panic attacks.

Arc #1: Friends and Family.

This starts with Prince and Emperor going to CoroKolor Island to visit their grandmother. Why Prince and Emperor? Bc they're cool and unironically my favorites. Their grandmother owns a cafe, stan grandma.

On their first night they ate curry that someone gave them, who is totally not Army of the S4.

Spoiler alert: It was Army of the S4.

And would you look at that, Mask and Aloha are also there. So they hangout in the cafe for a bit, Prince being social meanwhile Emperor watching a crime show.

And then the show is hijacked by a European green crab looking alien who demands cocoa for a special plan. Emperor, who's not an exact believer of the extraterrestrial, turns it off. By popular demand, he reluctantly turns it on again but the announcement was over.

Later that day, Prince chases after a jellyfish looking robot who stole his grammy's cocoa stash meanwhile Emperor goes after him.

Just like fate has intended, they found a spaceship in a junkyard.

Likewise they retrieve the cocoa and not before running away from a certain eldritch shaped mech named Deimos and nearly dying.

Later that night they were visited by a magical Nautilus shell.

Nautila Prototype_1.5v, nicknamed Tilly by Em (Tilly lore coming soon)

Tilly gave them powerbands, much like its predecessor (totally not foreshadowing)

Next day, it was a normal day, where the brothers and the S4 hang out in the park with a slight Rider cameo.

Sike, the crab alien, named Che'Lii went to attack them let's go! Emperor unintentionally becomes bait before Prince shot the crab.

Emperor hids Tilly, not before having a slight flashback, meanwhile the others get some epik battle montage. At this point, Che'Lii becomes a bit... Interested with Emperor, to say the least.

Che'Lii gets Deimos and second phase starts, Emperor immediately becomes hostage. So the squad retreats and think of a plan.

The plan being: Distract Che'Lii and go find Tilly.

The S4 searches for Tilly and Prince becomes shark bait. Let's say Prince also becomes hostage and got strangled (dw he's not dead)

But fear not, Army can fly now! And Mask can run, very fast. Aloha is.... Aloha.

Che'Lii is defeated, but not before sending in probably about 50.000 drones to distract these cephalopodic heirs to escape.

Army and Aloha dealt with the drones for a bit, Mask sent the brothers back to safety, Prince is regaining conscious meanwhile Emperor just had a panic attack.

Mask left, Rider is confused and some drones got in the cafe.

Prince wanted to fight but Emperor decided fuck it and went to kick ass.

Rider never thought that a yellow inkling destroying drones with a coat hanger would look so attractive.

"What the hell happened?!"

"If you think this is bad, look outside."

So Rider went to help the S4 and accidentally unlocked his power: Electric manipulation. Let's say he's kinda freaked out.

After that mess was done, Rider noticed Tilly and attempted to catch it, but Emperor said "no </3"

So lore dump time: The Squidbeak was sent on a mission to CoroKolor Island to retrieve a potentially dangerous artifact and bring it back to Octo Valley to be safe.

That artifact happened to be Tilly.

Yeah, Emperor still said no. Mostly because he's not fond of the Squidbeak Splatoon. (lore?)

One time Aloha, Prince and Emperor nearly got killed by whatever creature that Che'Lii sent, but thankfully Mask and Army saved the day.

Unfortunately, these superpowers kinda fuels their ego.

Which led to a big argument with the S4. Sure they argued a lot since they're petty, but this is B I G

So Che'Lii takes the opportunity to squidnap Aloha but somehow got Army and Mask, which is better tbh.

The brothers asks Aloha who's at the beach at the moment for help. Aloha doesn't exactly want to, but then plot twist, his mom appears. Family reunion ensues.

"That's nice and all but the other two are still squidnapped, Loha."

So from mama's encouragement, Aloha reluctantly agrees to help the two squidnapped S4.

Just his luck, he gets tortured first by Che'Lii. But thankfully, he got superpowers now.

So they escape (not without drones chasing after them) and they landed on the edge of town by midnight.

They rent a car (Emperor's driving) and crash at the S4's apartment.

They have karaoke night and jams to Calamari Inkantation.

That's totally not foreshadowing for the next arc

I wanna post something else than Boboiboy so hello Coroika nation.

I wanna share some of my AUs with you all and since I have less AUs than Boboiboy, maybe I could give some light summary.

1. Fantasy Memories (Name might change)

Goggles, Prince and Hachi hangs out together, got lost in a forest and found some funky lake ruins thing. Next thing you know, they're isekai'd into a fantasy world in the body of what supposedly to be their counterparts and is now trying to go back home.

Everyone there has one form of traumatized, probably.

2. Future Rescue

Mostly based on ERASED, Gloves goes back in time to prevent Nana getting murdered (and Hachi getting to prison), but to do so, he needs to protect more than he thought.

3. ElementaLink

In Pinned. Loosely connected to SplatRoad, or KyRoad (ie. Shadowling mentions). Basically Splatoon Manga but with Boboiboy plot elements.

4. Dragon AU

Self explanatory, Inkopolis top players are dragons from another world and decide to isekai themselves for various reasons. Shenanigans ensues.

5. Reverse AU

Could be for Splatoon in general. A what if story if Octarians won the war. Mostly focused on hero mode since majority of the manga characters are inklings. Also team Hachi has different names, their manga names are codenames now.

6. Sennyu Salmon AU

Basically instead of Team Blue, it's the Salmon run team that went to Deepsea Metro. Slight angst ensues I guess.

7. Team Emperor centric AU

Basically one of their parents are literally magic, the day before winter Emperor gets visited by someone who kinda looks like Prince. Yeah, man's just disappeared in the middle of winter. Could be mixed with Splatroad elements or just regular coroika shenanigans.

So basically, all of Blue team are actually a bunch of aliens that can somewhat shape-shift

They were sent down to earth to get some data via staying down there for a year

They expected to see humans, they did not.

Cyan Spirit

Mask dies and becomes a ghost, he does not realize he is dead until the next morning after he dies.

Team Cyan + The other S4 members are mortified

PRISM

(Somewhat)Inspired by Splatroad by Doggerwaffles on youtube

everyone is traumatized

the Squidbeak splatoon consists of (in order of agent numbers, and excluding 1 and 2): Goggles(3), Rider(3.5),Gloves(4), Skull(4.2), Vintage(4.3), Prince(5) and Hachi(8) So basically the canon agents + Prince. yes there are other agents but they wander into au spoiler territory.
