i thiiiiiink this is what ur talking about? i actually do this a bunch of diff ways but this is the current way ive been doing it. its really fun to just mess around with ur line art layers 👏👏

holy moly WELL ive been into this show since it started airing in 2007 but didnt start fanart till a bit later in the game.

i ADORE drawing for icarly despite my complicated feelings for the actual canon. i love these characters and i adore thinking about fun situations to throw them in and have officially adopted them all from a certain showrunning who will not be named.

my be more chill askblog is what most people know me for, but if u are unfamiliar it is one of my favorite fanworks ive ever made. here im posting half of what i called the confrontation, which was a 144+ panel update i did.

the amount of work i put in and the artistic growth i accomplished in the time i was working on this askblog WAS HUGE! i made a rule to never give up on a pose i wanted to draw, and to work on pushing my expressions and im really really proud of what ive accomplished!! the community that surrounded this blog was like nothing ive ever experienced and i still get teary eyed thinking back on it 👌😭💕

I see that you are a Seddie shipper and I am too! Tbh I liked canon Seddie when they became a couple as well as early Seddie, it was a bit weird but I was just excited that they actually did it. What honestly disappointed me was how quick they ended it and for such a disappointing reason. They likely did it in order to not lose the other side of the fandom by keeping the love triangle. Even in the finale they had him flirt with Sam and kiss Carly. They wouldn't pick a side even in the end. :/

man real talk anon, canon seddie is a big part of why i stopped watching icarly. at the time i was stoked, but the more it continued the more i felt like they completely lost the characters.

seddie to me is something i enjoy a lot, but because of the character growth that goes along with it. sam helps freddie let loose and live his life sometimes. she lets him expres his negative emotions more openly and is able to handle them. he can be angry and be sad because sam can take it and wont judge him for it. freddie helps ground sam. he helps her make sense of her wild emotions and tame them into something managable. he helps her see a future and work towards it rather than accept the present and moan that it sucks.

together they both have one huge object of their affection: Carly. and carly loves them and is a good friend to them both... but... she cant be the only good thing in sams life, and she cant be a perfect girlfriend for freddie. and i feel like sam and freddie realizing this and bonding over trying to make a life for THEMSELVES is why i keep coming back to this ship.

they know each others flaws and stick around. together they work towards better communication and comprimise even just in their friendship. sam give freddie an outlet to not be a goody toe shoes and freddie helps sam organize the chaos.

i felt like in canon they didnt respect this growth that could happen and put them together to get seddie checked off on their to do list of things fans want.

anyways i have complicated feelings towards icarly as a whole so im sorry i always GO OFF whenever its brought up.
