BREAKING: "YES, I'VE BEEN IN LOVE... ONCE" - ANYA OPENS UP AND GRACES COVER OF SOGUE MAGAZINE'S 150TH ANNIVERSARY ISSUE
Strike a pose! Covergirl Crown Princess Anya`stuns on the cover of Brindleton Sogue's special 150th anniversary issue.
The issue has been kept hush-hush until its release today. The swanky publication is currently celebrating its 150th anniversary, and what better way to mark such a milestone than to have the future Queen grace the cover... again. This is the second time that HRH has featured on the cover of the posh magazine.
The voluminous issue also includes wonderful new photos of the Crown Princess, taken in various picturesque locations around Brindleton. Her Royal Highness also very noticeably let down her natural curls and wore very few pieces of jewellery and minimal make-up for the feature. Crown Princess Anya's "stripped bare" hair and make-up are in stark contrast with the dramatic ballgowns she wore for the shoot.
Perhaps more importantly, however, Her Royal Highness sat down with the magazine's editor-in-chief for a very intimate conversation. The interview is said to be Anya's most honest and candid interview to date, and that's saying a lot, considering that the royals very rarely agree to be interviewed. The Crown Princess answered questions on her family, her work, and finding love. Snippets of the article are reproduced and translated below:

Your Royal Highness, for what seems like years now, there have been speculations on certain, shall we say, disagreements between you and some members of the Family. The... discord... has caused multiple speculations, and some would even argue that it has affected the public's trust on the monarchy. How are things now within the Family?
At the core of it all, we are a family - much like yours and everyone else's. Perhaps what sets my family apart is the fact that we live under constant scrutiny, and with that, the tiniest things are magnified to the point of being ridiculous.
Yes, there have been arguments, and yes there have been fights but at the end of the day, we all take a step back and remind ourselves that we are a family, and much importantly, we owe it to the people to ensure that the monarchy is in safe hands. We're good. We're solid. We're very much a team. I love my parents, and I love my siblings. It's not always as dramatic as everyone sets it out to be.
So I suppose it's safe to say that all is well with The Harvelles?
What exactly is "well?" *laughs* They seem very happy with their lives, and I'm quite content with mine. I wish them, to use your word, "well." Really, I do. They have a lovely little daughter, and I'm quite certain I'm the least of their worries. I'm sure they'd rather spend time with each other that concern themselves with what other people are saying about my relationship with them.
Speaking of, YRH, have you seen your niece? Have you met her?
Of course... during the odd family gatherings and dinners, when we all come over to the big house. I find it quite entertaining how everyone's painting me out to be the evil aunt. I think she's a darling little girl. And of course, I've met her, yes.
You're to take on a very massive challenge next year, vying for gold at the World Sports Festival. How are the preparations going?
I'd like to think it's going quite swimmingly, and I hope my coach doesn't disagree. *laughs* I won't be taking a leave of absence for training; I don't think the current workload allows it, but I do make sure to free up some time to get on the saddle. I love horses, and I've been riding since I was a child, so my training - gruelling as it may be on certain days - isn't really that much of a hardship for me. I enjoy it, really.
I also love training with the rest of the Brindleton Team. I've made lots of new friends and I'm very proud to see so many gifted young athletes represent our country.
It's been a while since you last completed professionally, what made you decide to compete again?
It's alway been a dream to bag the gold at the Festival and bring it home to Brindleton. So for me, it's now or never. I'm not getting any younger, and I realised that if I want to try and achieve that dream, I should get my act together and get back on the horse, figuratively and literally.
Tumblr media
Since you brought it up, I hope you don't mind my asking, YRH, but there has been much speculation about your, shall I say, lack of prospects, and those write-ups came right after your birthday. Does that affect you in anyway?
When did I bring this up? *laughs* Ah, yes. I've heard about that. Mostly, I laugh it off. I know I'm no spring chicken *laughs* but these things... they can't be rushed, you know? Do I wish people would stop talking about my private life? Yes. Do I expect them to? No.
I know my place and I am very much aware that it's part of the job. This role, this life I'm born into... it's...well, I know what it entails. Let's just leave it at that.
Since I'm being so bold, I'll take my chances - have you ever been in love?
My, my. That is bold. They warned me about you. *laughs* Yes. Of course. Yes, I've been in love... once. But it was ages ago. It feels like a lifetime ago. It was beautiful and glorious, and most importantly, it was mine, ours. But you know, life happens, things change. You grow up. It is, however, something I look back very fondly on. I feel lucky to have experienced that.
And now? Are you looking for love?
No. Not actively anyway. I'd love to, but I can't afford to. And I promise you not every man who crosses my path fancies me. *laughs*
No, I... I believe things will fall into place when it's supposed to. Gosh, I sound like such a sap. *laughs* No... it's just that... I had it once... and you know, I grew up surrounded by love, by two people who are very much in love. So if it's not like what my mum and dad has, I don't want it.
That's fair enough.
Isn't it? I feel like that's a very small and reasonable demand. *laughs*
Finally, Your Royal Highness, What do you think shall be seen as your greatest legacy Crown Princess of Brindleton?
I really don't know. That's a very difficult question to answer, but if I were to free to hope, I hope it's my work with the youth. It's very important that we give our children, our teenagers - girls, especially - a fair and equal chance in life. And I'd like to think I've made an impact on that regard. I am very passionate about supporting children's well-being with a focus on their mental health, especially our teens because it's a very crucial point in one's life.
Tumblr media
Don't you just love how Anya and her siblings call the palace "the big house"? And for once, it's refreshing to not speculate about something that our royals did or did not do! Case in point: Anya HAS met her niece, contrary to the ongoing rumour that she has been snubbing poor little Lady Ella.
However, we can't help but wonder who exactly was The Crown Princess' one true love? Could it be Mario? Or Dr. Greg? Maybe even tennis pro Sterling? But then again, she did mention that it was a while back... so it couldn't possible be her footballer ex. Curiouser and curiouser... Leave it to Anya to actually share her secrets and yet leave us wanting more!
The issue has been selling incredibly fast, and major retailers have already reportedly sold out. And it's no wonder! It's so rare that we get to hear directly from our royals (especially notoriously tight-lipped Anya), so this issue is, indeed, a must-have and a must-read for all royal fans out there!

just responding to something I saw in the comments "If he renounces (or stripped of) HRH status, he won't have a security. " He would still receive security because he is the son of a monarch and this is considered high risk, imagine that some group terrorist decides to kidnap the son of the Queen of Sweden who stopped receiving security because he renounced his HRH status, it is because of scenarios like this that he would still receive security, of course after Kristina's death or abdication this would change. Of course, the level of security would not be anywhere near what he receives as crown prince, and this would be considered an extension of Kristina's security.

Personally, I've had enough of this circus. The monarchy does nothing to stop them and we end up wondering if there is not a double game on the part of Charles and the palace. Four years have passed and so many things that could have been done and nothing happened. The palace protects these two traitors and considers the public stupid. They could have taken away the duchy from them, demoted them to the rank of count and countess or worse, baron and baroness. All traitors.
Hi Nonny,
I think many people are feeing fed up with the Harkle antics and the lack of a firm response from the palace. I know I am. I agree that more could be done to minimise the Harkle damage.
I would start by making a very clear distinction between them and the rest of the royal family, in a way that would be understood by people in any country, such as taking Harry off the royal website. King Charles made a good beginning in his speech shortly after his accession where he spoke of William and Catherine as The Prince and Princess of Wales and referred to Harry as Harry, while wishing him well in his life overseas, but - he then didn't follow it up with any action to reinforce that distinction, so Harry was able to continue to imply that he was an important member of the royal family, and there was nothing to contradict this on the website or in his titles.
With respect to the titles, my understanding is they go together, as a group. The format is to have a Dukedom in England, an Earldom in Scotland, and a Barony in Northern Ireland (Wales is reserved for the heir to the throne). Prince William's titles upon marriage followed the same format (Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus), as did Prince Andrew's (Duke of York, Earl of Inverness and Baron Killyleagh) and Prince Philip's (Duke of Edinburgh, Earl of Merioneth, Baron Greenwich). Prince Edward was unusual in that he was made and Earl, not a Duke, and promised the Dukedom of Edinburgh in due course (Earl of Wessex and Viscount Severn). He also held no Scottish or Northern Irish title until he was granted the Earl of Forfar for use in Scotland on his 55th birthday.
As the titles were bestowed together, to my mind they should be removed together, which would leave Harry as The Prince Harry and Meghan as The Princess Meghan (EDIT: Correction: The Princess Harry/Henry, not Meghan - my mistake, sorry). I would much rather have the HRH style and Prince title permanently removed from Harry, leaving him as the plain Duke of Sussex, or have all titles stripped from him, leaving him as Harry Mountbatten-Windsor. I would also be happy to see him vanish from the royal website. If both of those happened I would be very happy, as then Harry Mountbatten-Windsor could live his life with the privacy that he keeps saying he desires, with no public ties to the BRF. He could be on the same level as Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall, who have both managed to live without titles.

Do you think the HRH's stripping has been coordinated with Harry's appearance ? I doubt it but now, with the articles about Harry in Japan, there're articles about his HRH being gone from the website and his ex honorary military roles being redistributed. If the RF erase their profiles from the working royals section of their site during IG, I will laugh.
No, I think Harry is telling potential deal partners that he still has contact with the royals. The royals are trying to put a stop to that.

’…….William…..change the line of succession’
I hate to disappoint this anon, but William cannot change, ban, cut the line of succession. It’s not in the remit of the Monarch.
Only Parliament can do something about the line of succession.
And even then they can’t cut or change the line. In ye old times, this conundrum was resolved with a visit to the tower for the final, deadly solution.
However, even with that final solution which isn’t an option anymore, parliament can change or add caveats to criteria to skip over undesirable candidates in the line. They did it to bring in George 1 of Hanover - skipped 50 people to do this - and 3 times to get rid of the Monarch - (forced or coerced) abdication  of Empress Matiilda in 1148, James VI and II in 1688, Edward VIII in 1936.
According to a recent published opinion by a constitutional lawmaker, all honours, titles, styles held by members of the royal family are given by royal prerogative even when they are peerage ones or birthright.
As a result, they can be removed by royal prerogative which can’t be challenged in a court of law. In effect the monarch is above the law.
The expert concludes that Charles or William can strip Harry of everything except his place in the line of succession. And by everything, he means HRH, Prince, Duke, Earl, Baron, RKVO and his status as a prince of the UK and effectively reduce him to the status of an ordinary citizen without any privilege except that which they earn by their own merits.
I’d be shocked if Charles stripped Harry. I think William will do it, but he might not go far enough. He might reduce him to a lesser rank/ status as happened to HRH Princess Patricia of Connaught in 1919 who was demoted to Lady Ramsey.
====
Thank you anon, and despite all these facts Charles won’t do anything. The man doesn't even have the balls to remove them from the working royals page.

Lizzie should have banned the entire Sussex title, not just the royal and hrh. She should have never allowed them to have their own office, they should have automatically been subsumed under BP. Actually Lizzie should have never allowed him and William to share an office, Harry should have been under Charles or Lizzie from the start. She should have gotten rid of frogmore in 2020 and limited the titles before Archie was born. Stripped Andrew of his HRH and his children, stopped Fergie from using Duchess of York. It was so easy lizzie 🤌🏻 you just had to protect William, Kate and their children but Lizzie was so color blind she couldn’t see red flags hitting her damn eyes
"but Lizzie was so color blind she couldn’t see red flags hitting her damn eyes."
YES, YES, YES, YES, YES!!!!!!!!
EXACTLY ALL THIS!!!!
And that's why I say, fuck Elizabeth.

I honestly don’t see their titles ever going to be revoked. Not by Charles, parliament or William.
William will just be ignoring them. Parliament wants nothing to do with it because they have more important things to do.
Frankly the LP limiting titles only to children of the monarch and children of the future monarch had to have been issues when W&C were married. Stripping th York girls from their titles should have been done as well. Limiting HRH only to working royals needed to be done ages ago instead of the bullshit ‘abeyance’ thing.
Andrew is the reason it never happened. He threw a tantrum when his daughters were stripped of taxpayer security. He continuously screeched about ‘blood princesses’ whenever he could
I got to thinking last night about all of this and the possibility of Harry and Meghan coming back as working royals, don't think it will happen, but it could.
Just because Charles allows it during his reign, doesn't mean William has to in his.
The Queen never put the good of the country ahead of her love for Andrew. The stripping of security happened because there was a rather large uproar over taxpayers footing the bill for two girls that weren't working royals and who would never be Queen. I want to say that at one point security was being paid out of pocket and it was said TQ was the one paying but it got expensive and they girls got older so it stopped. Frankly, they never needed the security. Much like Archie and Lili.
Here is another thing I thought of...Harry might come back as a working royal under Charles but he is going to be in for a huge upset regarding his kids and their roles in the royal family. Archie is 4.5 and Lili is 2.5 so we have about 13 years, at least, before Archie could take on some responsibility as a working royal. King Charles is 75, so he would be 88...
With Charles cancer diagnosis that also has to be on H&M's minds. She herself said in the Netflix series that she often thought about the future roles of her children in the monarchy, which means she fully expects them to take on royal duties eventually. She just expects that she will be able to pick all the good parts for the Sussex kids because they are the grandchildren of a King and they will have a role...yeah right.

Strip those titles.
The queen with crippling cancer sorted the mess of the Sussexes asap: no hrh, no Sussex websites.
Charles said he’ll be working from home. If neither of them incapacitated, then there has to be another solution, because English folks specifically are livid.
The gall and brass of them. Now, is the time to take them off the royal website.
I don’t think now is the time to judge King Charles…my God, he only was diagnosed last week…..compassion perhaps?  The duo haven’t killed anyone….we can wait a bit longer….❤️

After reading Valentine Low’s new piece in The Times, here are a few of my thoughts of things not in that piece, specifically King Charles’ future letters patent.
Beatrice, Eugenie, Archie, & Lilibet will be stripped of their HRH style and prince & princess titles. Same for Louise & James even though they don’t use titles. All six will be styled as daughters & sons of a peer going forward, e.g. The Lady Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor and The Lady Eugenie Brooksbank.
Harry & Andrew are going to lose their HRH style for sure because they are not “working royals,” even though they are both the sons of a monarch. Possibly even lose their prince titles as well. (If they don’t lose both their titles & styles this year, then Andrew definitely will lose them both permanently within the next three years. Harry will only get his back when he returns as a working royal years later in the future.)
King Charles III will change the House name from Windsor to Mountbatten-Windsor. The title & style changes will further delineate the House of Mountbatten-Windsor from the former House of Windsor.

On Youtube's "Palace Confidential" this week (Thursday, Feb 23rd) Royal Reporter Rebecca English answered a tweet question on why H can't have his HRH title stripped. Her answer: KC3 doesn't want to humiliate H by stripping H of his HRH title (even though he could by Letters Patent). IMO, Prince/Princess HRH titles should be restricted to full-time working royals & the heir to the throne to prevent Royals like Prince Michael of Kent, Prince Andrew & Prince H from cashing in on their titles.
Hi Nonny,
Titles are tricky. I think it is time for a review of the HRH style and Prince/Princess title, and I would be happy to see the HRH restricted to the direct heirs to the throne. I'm less sure about the Prince/Princess title. They are a marker of royal birth, and that is not restricted to just working royals. It seems rather unfair to remove the titles from people who are the children or grandchildren of the monarch, simply because they choose not to be working royals. Maybe restrict the use of Prince/Princess to the children of the monarch and the children of the future monarch (direct line to the throne)? I don't know what the answer is here.

“I am impressed with the lux royals, at least they don't use their HRH princes/princess of lux/nassau title for their own benefit they use "de nassau" last name, which make sense because everybody don't know that is linked with royalty, like for example lets use Amelia Windsor, no one would know she is related to royalty. So i don't get it why people are so angry with them using the de nassau last name even tho that is their family name. unlike the Gluksburg that uses their royal title.” - Submitted by Anonymous
“I don't get why the greeks call themself princes/princess of greece and denmark even tho their monarchy abolish like 50 years ago, I mean the lux royals uses the nassau as their last name same goes for the austrians habsburg household. Even some of the belgian prince uses saxe-courburg and gotha as their surname. Why couldn't they use Gluksburg I mean Martha Louise uses that surname even tho she is a princess from a reinging monarchy.” - Submitted by Anonymous
“If most monarchs are ok stripping their grandchildren of there title while most of some of them leaving that country, tell me why any of the luxes hasn't done that yet, legit the family have title of HRH and prince/ess of lux/nassau yes this includes their niece/neohew and their spouse and childern like whats the point of this they don't live in lux and most of them weren't born in lux. Belgium made a law that any wife of princes of belgium won't automatically be a princess.” - Submitted by Anonymous

Just a reminder that special status is also attached to being "His/Her Royal Highness". The HRH, in itself, is a diplomatic status as it means the HRH individual, in their capacity as a royal, represents the monarch and the royal household. This applies when they travel for work to another country. If they travel for holiday or leisure in a.pricate capacity it's different.
But .. then it also depends on the individual. Who they are, How seriously they take themselves, their official threat assessment and most importantly where they stand in the line of succession.
So, for example, if William or Camilla or Catherine travel to, say, Hawaii or Sri Lanka or Seychelles for a private holiday, they would inform the govt of the host country because that's a security and diplomatic requirement. But we have seen in recent years that at least these 3 individuals travel for private holidays without making any fuss and news doesn't even come out. They are given discreet protection, but mostly their RPOs, who have diplomatic status as well, are their security. All travel+lodging logistics are coordinated between the host country and UK security agencies and RPOs and a security officer is the point of contact.
When Charles travels, being King, he has to announce before and say which country he is traveling to. The arrangements and setup is all the same as above. And yet, in a private capacity the king remains low key.
Someone like Anne or Edinburghs or York girls travel for holiday, they do so as the rest of us common folk. They usually do not have security. Anne doesn't. Sophie and Ed may have 1 RPO if the security agencies say so, otherwise not.
Long story short, taking away Harry and meghans HRH was a big deal. And why they insist on their kids having titles and implying that the kids may be HRH (but in reality they don't, because that's what was agreed at the Sandringham summit).
At the end of the day, there HRHs weren't officially stripped, they were simply asked to no longer use them. We all know Harry and Meghan's word is worth nothing.
Beatrice and Eugenie are also HRHs but are not working royals, therefore they do not represent the monarch. Not all HRH's represent the Monarch, but all working royals do.
