Okay, I like Lxa as a character but after having time to process the finale I’m actually very annoyed she came back. We already had closure with her. She died in Clarke’s arms which was tragic and sad, but Clarke held onto the Flame and was constantly thinking about her. She returned in the S3 finale and had a proper send off, and they even added the ‘I love you’ in ADR. We already knew Clarke loved her. And not to mention all the times she’s been mentioned since then just to hammer home how much she meant to Clarke.
For her to come back in the form of an alien who takes the shape of someone Clarke loves didn’t need to happen. I’m sorry, but she was a minor character in S2 and S3 and she didn’t need to be brought back for a big chunk of the series finale.
Bellamy, the male lead of the show, had no closure whatsoever. I don’t wish the alien had been in the shape of him, we already know Clarke loves him and how much she means to him. It should have been Madi, or Abby, or her dad, or even Wells. Heck it shouldn’t have been a big deal who it took the form of because we know all the people Clarke loves.
The problem is that Bellamy wasn’t a minor character - he was the second main character and had been there since the very beginning. He died alone believing everyone hated him at the hands of his best friend. No one really mourned him, he was all but forgotten except for a few throwaway comments that ‘he was right’. No one felt regret about not believing him. No one spoke up and said they wished he could have been here on the beach at the end. He was erased from the narrative and a minor character who died in S3 and whose story had already been wrapped up overshadowed him (and almost everything else that happened in the finale).
Bellamy’s presence should have been felt in the finale, at the least. Instead, the finale removed any essence of him in favour of a fan favourite minor character to appease a certain subset of fans.

Clarke is the ‘key’.
The Disciples only saw Octavia’s memories up until Clarke shut down the City of Light.
The Disciples came from Earth. There is a good chance they descended from the Second Dawn cult.
There is an Anomaly Stone on Earth (that is currently offline).
It’s very likely that the Shepherd is Bill Cadogan (they both saved their people from a fire that destroyed the Earth and I don’t think that’s a coincidence).
Cadogan burnt Becca alive and took the Flame (ALIE 2.0).
Clarke shut down the COL and destroyed ALIE 1.0.
We still don’t know what the kids in Sanctum meant when they asked Clarke if she was there to take them home. And that question was pointedly asked to Clarke, do the people of Sanctum also believe she is the ‘key’?
It’s heavily hinted at that the show is going to end back on Earth.
CLARKE IS THE KEY TO GETTING BACK TO EARTH.

I think we can all agree that scene with Bellamy is not as it appears. There is something very off about the whole thing.
It supposedly takes place right after Bellamy is taken by the Disciples (they’re in the room with Anomaly Stone so it must take place then) but the last we saw of him his hands were covered in blood and he was knocked unconscious and dragged through the woods. He should have cuts and bruises all over him, and his clothes should be ripped and dirty. And most notably, he should have been completely out of it.
But none of that shows when Octavia is taken to see him. He’s awake and completely aware, and even killed two guards and threatens to kill another. He’s clean, his clothes look perfectly fine with no sign of blood of dirt. He looks well, not as though he’s just been violently kidnapped and taken through a wormhole to another planet.
I think this memory is not real. Using the high tech the people of Bardo have they constructed a computer generated version of Bellamy using Octavia’s memories (she had vivid memories of him in 6x13 wearing that outfit prior to being taken) and the beaten and bloodied Bellamy they kidnapped. Using Octavia’s memories as a baseline and all they learnt about his personality from them, they created a fake memory and implanted it into Octavia’s mind.
Even Bellamy’s behaviour in that scene was strange. He wasn’t acting exactly like himself. With the limited memories they have of him from Octavia it would make sense for it to be a poor impersonation. You can never replicate someone perfectly.
So why did they do this? They needed Octavia to believe Bellamy was dead so she’d cooperate willingly with the M-Cap. She was resistant to the procedure and fought it because she needed to get back to Bellamy. Him being alive and out there somewhere for her to get back to gave her the strength to keep fighting.
But with him dead, she’s defeated. There is no point in fighting anymore when she doesn’t have her brother to return to. As we see when Hope, Gabriel and Echo find her, she’s given in. She’s repeating “I’m not afraid” and no longer trying to fight. Her brother is gone so what’s the point?
With Bellamy’s loved ones believing him to be dead, the Disciples can do whatever they want with him. I think it’s highly likely he’s been brainwashed and is working as a secret agent for them.
And if they’ve done the M-Cap on him too, surely they know about his connection to Clarke, who they believe to be the ‘key’. Maybe they’re going to use him to get to her? Which is exactly what ALIE did in S3, using her friends to get her to give in.
Bellamy is obviously not dead and I believe he’s still on Bardo. It’s actually looking more plausible that he’s the person who took Gaia and shut off the Stone in Sanctum, conveniently right after Clarke went though meaning she can’t return. Maybe his mission is to visit each of the different planets and find her?

The 100 Rewatch ‘1x07 Contents Under Pressure’
Abby talking Clarke through how to remove the knife from Finn is incredibly stressful. Gah.
First appearance of Miller!! Who now seems to be Bellamy’s second in command (Lol he replaces his people quite quickly).
This episode reminded me of how much I miss the Dropship. Such a cool location! Especially in this episode that’s almost entirely in that location as they shelter from the hurricane.
The torture of Lincoln is something I struggle to watch… I know, they were DESPERATE to save Finn and that can make people do bad things.
When Bellamy is like, ‘let her through’ and then takes her arm. And I love the moment when he puts his hand on Clarke’s shoulder and tires to spare her from having to see what he does to Lincoln.
And then after the storm has passed, he says, “Who we are and who we need to be to survive and very different things.” and he grabs that thing out of her hand. BELLARKE AND HANDS ARE MY WEAKNESS OKAY.
Clarke waking Finn up and saying ‘hey’ to each other reminded me of Bellarke waking up after cryo. Another romantic parallel I’d never noticed before.
The whole vibe of this episode is great! A hurricane, trapped in this tin can while Clarke is trying to save Finn’s life, and also a grounder they’re trying to get answers from.
Clarke telling her mother she knows about what she did and breaks down about how Wells tried to protect her from the truth. I like how Wells death still has ramifications (at least early on it does).
On the Ark, the drama with what happened in the culling. The part that breaks me every time is when Jaha says, “I lost my son.” One of the most impactful line deliveries on the entire show.
Diana Sydney weaselling her way onto the council, obviously planning some sort of uprising.
Their plan is to get down to Earth, problem is there are only enough lifeboats for less than half of the population. The Ark is the titanic.
Very high stakes and just a solid episode!

The 100 Rewatch ‘1x03 Earth Kills’
I love the flashbacks on the Ark with Jake. The Jaha and Griffin families watching a 147 year old soccer game, and seeing all the little things they did for fun up there is nice to see.
Oh Charlotte… I know Bellamy and Clarke had good intentions, trying to help her through her trauma and make the nightmares go away. But Bellamy… giving her a knife and telling her to slay her demons is not what you should say to a traumatised kid.
The acid fog. Which we later learn is not a natural occurrence, but a weapon created by the Mountain Men.
The drama between Clarke, Wells and Finn stuck in the car. Fun times.
Atom… Bellamy couldn’t kill him and looks on in awe as Clarke hums as she does it. He is so smitten with her by that point. This is a girl who’s willing to make the hard choices and he admires her for that.
And then he completely changes his attitude and announces that Clarke get whatever medical supplies she needs. The beginning of a beautiful friendship/partnership (and romance).
Jake being floated never gets easier to watch. Absolutely heartbreaking. He gave his ring to Abby and his watch to Clarke. It’s nice they keep those mementos around - the ring is there all the way to S7, although the watch is kinda forgotten in the later seasons.
Wells is the best friend anyone could ask for. Willing to let Clarke hate him for the rest of her life so she wouldn’t know the truth and hate her mother.
Clarke and Wells hug!! Unfortunately, for the last time.
And then Charlotte slays her demons and kills Wells, stabbing him in the exact place Clarke stabbed Atom. I was IN SHOCK the first time I watched this. Wells was one fo the main characters??? And they killed him 3 episodes in??
Wells death does have repercussions going forward, well at least in the early seasons. But just imagine how different things would be if he’d lived? I also really liked Atom, who also died this episode. So did a few other members of the hundred who were killed by the acid fog. Wow there were a lot of deaths in the beginning.

The 100 Rewatch ‘1x08 Day Trip’
DAY TRIP!! This episode is a lot of fun! Bellamy & Clarke going off to find a bunker for supplies, meanwhile everyone in camp gets high on Jobi nuts.
Monty and Jasper’s friendship is really highlighted on this episode!
THE GUNS! Bellamy is the one who taught her to use a gun (and ends up using one to kill him… thanks I hate it). He’s so flustered by being so close to her, he clears his throat and awkwardly moves away. Gah I love it!
Telling her to keep Miller close because the others listen to him. She keeps that in mind all the way until the end.
Bellamy’s hallucination of Jaha, and the people who died in the culling, haunting him. Deep down he blames himself for it. It's heartbreaking when he breaks down and can’t fight anymore, and when he says, "I’m a monster”. His mother raised to be better and he feels he’s failed.
Clarke sees her father, who tells her he needs to forgive her mother. Both of them are so tried of fighting. Of everyone relying on them.
The drawing on the wall in Clarke’s hallucination looks so much like Bellamy and Clarke kissing.
Bellamy ends up killing Dax to save Clarke. The first person he’s killed.
“I can't change the tide if the moon won't cooperate!” and “You're the most beautiful broom in a broom closet of brooms” and Jasper sleeping happily with his ‘anti-grounder stick’. So many iconic moments!
Monty walking in on Raven and Finn. Haha Raven wasn’t the first to do it, he's the one who walked in on her first.
Lincoln speaks to Octavia and tells her his name, which is a very significant moment. During all the chaos, she lets Lincoln escape (and so does Finn).
This episode is quite similar to Red Sun Rising with all the hallucinations.
Clarke saying “I need you” and “If you need forgiveness, I’ll give that to you, you’re forgiven” and where Bellamy asking her to run off with him.
Despite Clarke being hesitant to distribute the guns around the camp, in the end she realises Bellamy is right. And now they are well and truly co-leaders!
Clarke vouching for Bellamy and convincing Jaha to pardon him of his crimes!
This is one of my favourite episodes! So much fun, lighthearted, but also important character moments and a significant development in Bellamy & Clarke’s relationship.

What if seasons 6 & 7 (Book 2) have all been a simulation created by Monty?
At the end of S5 they were only meant to be in cryo for 10 years and then go back home to Earth which would be habitable again. But Monty stayed awake and discovered it never recovered. He spent 30 or so years trying to crack the Eligius III files and set them on a course to Planet Alpha for a second chance. At least that’s what he said in his video logs.
What if Earth did come back after 10 years but Monty had lived this peaceful life with Harper and Jordan and realised he didn’t want to wake them up. If they did go back home, they’d probably just destroy it again. Maybe Jasper was right and humans are the problem.
So instead of waking them up he spent the next 50 years creating a test for them. A test that would decide whether or not they are capable of doing better. A shared simulation with everyone who is in cryo.
Now what about all the new characters who weren’t in cryo? Monty cracked the Eligius III mission files so he knew about the 5 possible habitable planets and had files on every person who went on the mission. So he’d know who the Lightbourne’s are, and Gabriel, and that they went to Planet Alpha. He knew they had mind drives, tech created by Becca, and they were all nightbloods. Maybe he thought, what if they reverse engineered them to hold entire consciousnesses and are immortal ‘gods’? That could be the first test - how will they react in a situation where one of their loved ones is body snatched? Will they destroy another planet or will they do better?
Then he started to get creative and thought, hey what if there are ancient Stones that are bridges to each of the planets, that could be a cool scenario for the second test? And then he remembered back to his time on Earth and thought, what if Bill Cadogan, leader of the Second Dawn, is the leader of another cult? That would tie everything back to the past.
What if Octavia and Diyoza are isolated on a planet together with a child and forced to face their demons? How about a machine that can extract memories? That will force them to come to terms with the things they’ve done.
What if Bellamy is ‘killed’? How will his loved ones react? Will they destroy another planet? What if there is a bioweapon and a single drop could wipe out an entire civilisation? Would they consider using it?
Maybe Echo or Emori told Monty about Sheidheda (he was probably well known among the Grounders) and he thought, how about he somehow escapes from the Flame and becomes a big threat?
And maybe some of the pseudoscience was thought up by a young Jordan. Honestly some of the new ridiculous things introduced this season seems like it was written by a child.
So essentially this whole thing has been one big intricate test to determine whether humanity should be allowed to return to Earth. A test to determine whether they are actually capable of doing better.
If they do pass, Monty will wake them up and allow them to return home. If not, he’ll strand them out in space to live out the rest of their lives somewhere they can’t destroy.
Either way, there will be some sort of a full circle ending. They return home to Earth, just the like the 100 at the beginning of the show. Or they’ll be stranded in space unable to return to the ground, just as they were on the Ark.
Look, I hope we don’t get an ‘it was all simulation’ ending but I’m just trying to make sense of what has happened this season. So many things seem off so maybe it was purposeful? A hint that things are not as they seem?
But if it was all a simulation that would mean everything we’ve seen the past 2 seasons wasn’t real and the prequel would be invalidated. So I’m leaning towards no. I think it’s all just bad writing.

The 100 Rewatch ‘1x10 I Am Become Death’
The first episode without Clarke’s opening monologue.
I love the visuals of the Exodus ship crash site.
Harper’s first appearance!!
Murphy returns to camp severely traumatised from his torture by the grounders. It’s incredible how far he’s come since then. They were all willing to write him off and Bellamy made it clear he wanted to kill him.
Harper trying to flirt with Jasper… who keeps brushing her off. He’s so rude to her and letting this ‘fame’ get to him. I felt bad for her. Oh Harper one day you'll realise Monty is the one for you and you’ll I’ve a long happy life together.
Murphy was sent as a weapon, to spread a virus and weaken them for when the grounders attack.
Now everyone is getting sick and needs to be quarantined to stop the spread. Clarke keeps reminding everyone to wash their hands and cover their face. Sounds very familiar huh…
Octavia is immune. As is Finn, it appears.
I love how Bellamy checks that Clarke has enough food and water in the dropship while quarantining. And then he’s pissed when he finds out she sent Octavia to see Lincoln and is like, “If anything happens to her, you and me are gonna have problems.”
The first mention of the ‘Mountain Men’. And Lincoln mentions he going to a clan near the sea (and in S3 we meet Floukru)
OMG the guy who says, “Dude, your eyes” to the guy whose eyes are bleeding, is that Jason Mendoza??? IT IS!! Manny Jacinto plays ‘Boy #1’ in this episode!! He was also ‘Boy Bullied by Murphy’ in 1x04
Well, quarantine isn’t working and everyone keeps touching others then it culminates in complete chaos. So out comes Clarke and shoots a few shots into the sky to shut everyone up.
Their plan is to blow up the bridge so the grounders can’t come. Raven is all like, this ancient bridge that has survived against all odds ‘won’t survive me’. And so she makes a bomb with hydrazine from the Exodus ship wreckage and gunpowder.
Then Bellamy gets sick too. Octavia takes care of him and says, “I won’t let anything else happen to you, I promise”. The same thing he said to her the day she was born. Which is just aww ❤️
Murphy appears to be very helpful. He’s already beginning to recover and helps the sick. Which I think is who he really is… he just has a lot of trauma currently.
Bellamy refuses his help, and instead Clarke’s come to help him out. And they have a conversation about second chances which is very sweet.
Raven places the bomb herself and Jasper makes the shot!
“I know who Oppenheimer is.” Because of course Bellamy Blake does!!
Murphy kills Connor. Which is a brutal scene.
This is a very timely episode, considering what we’re going through at the moment.

The 100 Anomaly Theory
This is partly inspired by this theory by FlashyPersonality on Reddit which I highly recommend reading. It’s heavily inspired by Interstellar which Jason has said is one of the biggest influences on S6 and S7 in regards to the Anomaly.
In the trailer one thing that stood out to me is Clarke being told, “You are the key to winning the last war mankind will ever wage.”
I’m wondering why Clarke, and only her, is specifically is singled out. The person who says that to her has Anomaly symbols on his face and is obviously involved with it somehow.
Clarke looks confused. Why her? Why is she the key? What does that even mean? The key to ending the final war?
To us, the audience, that makes sense. Clarke is the main character. She is the hero. From our perspective it makes sense for her to the one who will save humanity.
But in order for her to be able to do that she has to stay alive. We’ve seen one instance where she was very close to dying. In Eden, two months after Praimfaya, she had almost given up. She held a gun to her head and almost pulled the trigger. But then she found Eden, and then Madi, and she survived for another six years.
If it weren’t for the eagle that led her to Eden she may have very well died. If she hadn’t found Madi she would have been alone for those six years and may have considered giving up again.
Eden and Madi are the reason she is still alive.
So, here’s where the theory begins. Jason has said there is not going to be time travel but there is something weird with time going on. And the Anomaly is a wormhole, we now know from the trailer.
In Interstellar, the main character can influence the past through another dimension. At the beginning of the film his daughter receives coordinates from her ‘ghost’ (which we later learn is actually him in the future) which leads him to going through a wormhole in space to search for habitable planets and then to the place where he can send messages in morse code to his daughter in the past. It’s a kind of time loop where a future event is the cause of a past event.
Through the Anomaly I’m thinking they can effect the past. What if they make this discovery and attempt to stop some of the bad things that happened back on Earth? What if they attempt to stop Praimfaya? But in doing so they realise they cannot prevent it completely but they can save a certain portion of the ground. They choose a place close to where they first landed and then they realise this piece of land they’re going to save… is Shallow Valley.
I always thought it was quite convenient that the death wave happened to jump right over Shallow Valley. But I’m now thinking maybe it wasn’t random at all.
What if they are the reason Eden survived Praimfaya?
That goes back to my point before, it’s very lucky that Clarke managed to come across Eden. It wasn’t too far from where she was and finding it was her saving grace.
I also think it’s quite interesting that from space the one piece of green you can see on Earth is Eden, and on Alpha the one piece of green you can see is the Anomaly.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now to the second part of this theory which is probably way too farfetched but I can’t get it out of my head so I’m going to write it down anyway. As I said, there are two things that kept Clarke alive, Eden and Madi.
Now, bear with be… but what if Madi is Bellamy and Clarke’s daughter?
I know it sounds ridiculous but with the weirdness with time and the Anomaly being a wormhole that leads everywhere, it’s highly likely one of those places is Earth.
I do think there is a high chance that Bellamy and Clarke will make the ultimate sacrifice together for their people and for the future of the world. There are many parallels between their relationship and Monty and Harper’s, who saved their friends and lived a long and peaceful life together, and even had a son. Maybe Bellarke will have a similar fate?
What if they go through the Anomaly and are transported to another planet where they have to do something to ensure the survival of everyone else, but doing that means they’re unable to return to their friends. They know they did the right thing and decide to live out the rest of their lives in peace. They end up having a daughter and Clarke notices some sort of unique birthmark or something that Madi had. She realises their daughter is Madi. They somehow send her back to Earth through the Anomaly (not sure of the specifics at this point but somehow with the weird way time works in the Anomaly she gets sent back to Earth before Praimfaya).
Madi is very young and taken in by the Shallow Valley clan where they raise her as their own and protect her due to her nightblood. Clarke and Bellamy leave some instructions or hints to ensure that Madi is in Shallow Valley when Praimfaya hits. Therefore she is still alive when Clarke eventually comes across her.
Madi was so young when it all happened so she doesn’t remember any of it (I’m thinking maybe 2-3 years old, old enough to understand the basics but young enough to not remember). Of course Bellamy and Clarke would not want to give their child up, but they know, as with many other things they’d gone through in their lifetime, it’s necessary in order to get to where they are now and for for the next generation to have a chance to live.
That would also be another parallel to Marper. They let their son go into cryo so he could have a bright future ahead of him while they lived out the rest of their lives with just the two of them.
In conclusion, Clarke is the key and needs to survive in order to save humanity. She came very close to death once but there are two things that saved her, Eden and Madi. I think those two things were not so random after all and were actually caused by them in the future using the Anomaly.

The 100 Rewatch ‘1x09 Unity Day’
Finn mentions that the Ark was formed when the 13th station was blown out of the sky.
Celebrating with Monty’s ‘Unity Juice’.
The explosion during the ceremony on the Ark. It’s so obvious it was orchestrated by Diana Sydney.
Kane’s mother’s death is so sad. He’d kept dismissing her, and didn’t really care for her religion, but then it was too late. The first time we hear the ‘Travellers Blessing’.
The Bellarke Unity Day banter is just gold. He tells Clarke she could use a drink, and she tells him he could use one too. And that conversation makes him so happy and he smiles and takes a bite of his apple. AAAH I LOVE THEM!!
Octavia and Lincoln hooking up. Which happened quite sudden?? Does she know why he took her captive in the first place?
And then Finn shows up who wants to make a peace deal. Also, he’s the first to say ‘do better’. Another thing that started with him.
Bellamy is so worried about Clarke going to meet with the grounders. And of course he agrees to come as back up, with guns.
ANYA!! “Grounder princess looks pissed” and then Bellamy is like, “Our princess has that effect”. The delinquents started a war they don’t know how to end, little did they know the flares they sent up destroyed a village. Then things go to shit. Surprisingly Jasper made the first shot.
Diana Sydney launches the exodus ship. But since it wasn’t ready for launch, the Ark will lose power.
Then the dropship comes down, and explodes. Abby was supposedly on it when it launched so Clarke believes her mother is dead.
Another solid episode! The second half of S1 is consistently great.

I’ve started on my The 100 rewatch, which I always planned to do after the show ended... but with the way it ended I needed to take a break. Now that it’s been a few months I’ve decided it’s time.
Watching the pilot, which I wouldn’t have watched in its entirety since probably 5 years ago, as flawed as it is just reminded me of why I fell in love with this show and how much I miss these characters and this world!

The 100 Rewatch ‘1x11 The Calm’
Bellamy and Clarke are such a power couple!
The power is off on the Ark, but there are survivors. Kane finds Wick, an engineer. First appearance of him. And they find Sinclair, Jaha and others had survived.
After their food burnt, they have to go our hunting and Bellamy grabs Clarke’s arm (it’s all about the hands!) and tries to persuade her from going.
And then Anya takes Clarke and commands her to heal her ‘second’ who was injured in the bridge bombing, or Finn will be killed.
Monty has found some weird interference on the radio…
Bellamy and Raven hook up. Which like… was just a hook up, nothing more, for both of them.
Anya cuts a strand of Tris’ hair, which is a grounder tradition. (I remember Clarke taking a strand of Anya’s hair next season but I don’t think it was something that happened very regularly in the later seasons.)
Kane crawling through a burning vent on the chance that Abby might still be alive!! And she finds her!
Monty goes missing (as we find out at the end of the season, the Mountain Men took him)
And then Clarke gets strung up in a trap.
Beginning to set up the next season, with the mention of the Mountain Men and Monty going missing.

The 100 Rewatch ‘1x05 Twilight’s Last Gleaming’
I completely forgot about Jones! After Murphy was banished he came one of Bellamy’s most loyal followers. What ever happened to him?? I don’t even remember.
Bellamy just casually having a threesome lol.
Raven lands on Earth!! Bellamy… throws the radio away which may have been their chance to contact the Ark and stop the culling. Oh he made some questionable choices early on. But it’s clear why, he believed he killed Jaha and didn’t want to face the consequences. Lots of Blake siblings drama.
The culling. People getting sick due to oxygen depravation. Reese and Tor Lemkin, such memorable characters. So Kane’s plan is to cut the oxygen in one section of the Ark and make it out to be an accident. That is so wrong on so many levels.
Raven, Finn and Clarke love triangle… yeah I’m glad that didn’t go on for too long. But seriously Finn??? He never even bothered to mention that he had a girlfriend?
The Bellarke on this episode is top tier! I love the moment when he finds out Jaha isn’t dead and Clarke says that means he’s not a murderer. She could see the real him right from the beginning. And then the, “Can you wish on this kind of shooting star? I wouldn’t even know what to wish for” moment.
Abby releases Jake’s video which is such an impactful moment. It inspires the people and they volunteer to sacrifice themselves to save their loved one. Chills. Tor and Reese’s goodbye is so emotional.
Meanwhile on the ground the delinquents try to send up flares to tell the Ark the ground is survivable. I thought for sure first time I watched they’d get the message. But they don’t and the 300 people are killed. That is the moment I realised this show was something special.
The first appearance of Lincoln! When he takes Octavia captive.
This is episode when I was completely hooked on the show. It didn’t take the easy, predictable route, instead 300 people were killed ultimately for nothing. That’s when I knew this show wasn’t afraid to take risks.

The 100 Rewatch ‘1x04 Murphy’s Law’
Clarke agreeing to take her wristband off to make her mother feel her pain. Damn.
Murphy peeing on someone… He sure was a pain in the beginning. And so incredibly loyal to Bellamy.
Wells fingers… come on we didn’t need to see that.
The scene of Murphy being hung is I think one of the most disturbing of the show. These kids, they’re criminals… some are even murderers. They grew up in a place where crimes were punishable by ‘floating’. Bellamy goes along with it and Clarke tries to get through to him because she knows he’s not a killer. He couldn’t kill Atom even when he was begging to die. That’s not who he is
Charlotte speaking up and saying she did it… chills. Poor Murphy, he did nothing wrong and then was hung for it. I don’t blame him for wanting revenge.
Bellamy is surprised that this kid took what he said literally. Bellamy, you need to be careful with your words.
And now Clarke and Finn are on the run with Charlotte. “You can’t just kill someone to make yourself feel better.”
Vera, Kane’s mother, next to the tree they have a memorial that says ‘The Grounders’. I assume that’s why the hundred call them grounders then.
4 episodes in and we have a 12 year old kid who kills herself by jumping off a cliff. Things only get darker from here on out.
“We don’t decide who lives and dies, not down here.” This conversation between Bellamy & Clarke is ICONIC. They’re both trying to lead the kids, and keep them alive. But they need rules and order, and as Clarke says they can’t just live by ‘whatever the hell we want’. There needs to be a system, and laws, and punishments. Together they’ll figure it out.
Murphy is banished. Which, yes he did cause Charlotte to die, but in his defence he was hung for a crime he did not commit. So banishment… not entirely fair.
I completely forgot Octavia and Jasper kissed!!??
Finn completely LOOSES it over Charlotte’s death. Seriously, there were so many warning signs of what was to come later.
Raven heading down to Earth!! I love the music in that scene.
I think this is the episode when the show really starts to shift.

The 100 Rewatch ‘1x01 Pilot’
I love the opening scene of Clarke in her cell drawing the ground. Great way to open the show and grab your attention.
Okay there is a LOT of exposition here. “No one has a brother” “That’s Octavia Blake, the girl they found hidden under the floor” Lol. But hey it gives us some context for society on the Ark if not in a very subtle way.
THE AIR COULD BE TOXIC. IF THE AIR IS TOXIC WE’RE ALL DEAD ANYWAY. Bellarke’s first interaction!!
WE’RE BACK BITCHES!
“Let the privileged do the hard work for a change.” I LOVE early Bellarke and how differing their views on how to run this place were.
Bellamy’s slicked back hair 😅 Glad that didn’t stick around.
Jasper and Monty’s friendship is so pure.
We find out most of the main characters crimes here - Clarke committed treason (supposedly), Finn did an illegal spacewalk, Monty & Jasper made drugs, Octavia was a second child, and Bellamy shot Jaha to get onto the ship.
The iconic two headed deer!! The snake that attacks Octavia. And Finn finds monkey footprints (Pauna??).
When they arrived on the ground, Mount Weather was where they were trying to get to. One thing the show did very well was hinting at what was to come next season.
Wells and Bellamy would have been such great friends!
Whatever happened to Kane’s wife/girlfriend?? She was Abby’s best friend too and is never mentioned again after this (I do remember Jason tweeting she was floated off screen for budget reasons lol). Yeah, I know the pilot was filmed much earlier than the rest of the season and things were dropped.
I love the glowing forest!!
Finn was the first one to say, “See you on the other side.” Huh, I always associated that with Jasper. He’s also the first one who called Clarke ‘princess’.
When I first watched I was SHOCKED they’d kill Jasper in the first episode. He got shot in the heart, not sure how he survived haha. But I’m glad they decided to keep him alive.
There is great music in this episode! Radioactive, Promise, We Come Running. S1 had a great soundtrack.
As flawed as the pilot is, I think it’s a great set up for the show. Introducing us to the world, the characters and their relationships. And the premise of kids alone on the Earth with no adults is so compelling.

The 100 S7 trailer breakdown
There is quite a lot to unpack in this trailer, although it also doesn’t seem to give away much at all??
Clarke, with Gaia, burying her mothers ring. This place could very well be the yard from the house in the other trailer.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And based on their clothing, and the white railing, this looks like the same place too.
Tumblr media
This house:
Tumblr media
This must be right after the end of 6x13, Bellamy’s bloody hand and crying after Octavia disappeared in his arms.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Diyoza and Octavia. Wherever the anomaly transported them to it seems like they raised Hope together and became a family, but Octavia kept wanting to get back to her brother.
Tumblr media
This does look like Bill Cadogan. And the scenery here looks like Earth so maybe this is a flashback to after the first apocalypse - the bodies look like they were killed by radiation. He is also playing chess which is a recurring symbol on this show.
Tumblr media
Definitely looks like radiation poisoning to me.
Tumblr media
Based on the cardigan, this is most likely Bellamy being dragged through the woods.
(I didn’t think it looked like him but as other people have pointed out he was probably played by a body double which is why it doesn’t look like Bob.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Someone is running after him but I can’t make out who it is. Maybe Echo?
Tumblr media
Raven, Murphy and Emori talking about how Sanctum is going to blow up at any minute.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Clarke saying they’re the last of the human race. How many times have they said that before and it turns out not to be true?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The people of Sanctum praying, which then fades into a similarly framed shot of skeletons.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A close up of Octavia’s eye which is most likely when she’s being experimented on when she’s strapped to a chair in the white room.
Tumblr media
This room looks eerily similar to Mount Weather.
Tumblr media
Octavia telling young Hope to be quiet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gabriel holding a body (?) outside of the anomaly.
Tumblr media
This guy who has anomaly symbols on his face tells Clarke, “You are the key to winning the last war mankind will ever wage.” Hmm what does that mean?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’m thinking this is either baby Hope or one of the ‘null’ babies.
Tumblr media
Someone else with anomaly writing on their face.
Tumblr media
Russell possibly possessed by Sheidheda?
Tumblr media
Some sort of explosion up in space from the anomaly. Is that what happens when you travel from one planet to another?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jordan looking at the hologram of the planets.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
An ice planet. At least five people travel here.
Tumblr media
Looking at the anomaly stone. Raven says it’s a wormhole that leads to everywhere (even Earth??).
Tumblr media
People with these masks walking out of the anomaly. They most likely come from one of the other planets.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is a shot of Octavia burying (or digging up?) one of them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Diyoza seemingly being confronted by these masked people. She looks afraid and is then running from something. I’m thinking they’re a part of the ‘he’ who took her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Indra!
Tumblr media
Underwater. This is obviously something to with the anomaly due to the green.
Tumblr media
New character, Nikki.
Tumblr media
Some sort of explosion. And there is someone tied to a pole. (I’ve seen speculation it may be Finn but I’m not sure.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hope.
Tumblr media
This looks like more radiation poisoning.
Tumblr media
Sanctum on fire again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
One of the masked people with a gun to Octavia’s head. I do think they must have something to do with the people who took Diyoza.
Not sure if she is talking to Bellamy here because the lighting looks different.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is James who was introduced last season. This, again, looks like radiation poisoning.
Tumblr media
Murphy and Emori. Escorted by guards? So maybe their ‘Prime’ status didn’t last too long? “Have we learned nothing?” That’s the big question of the whole show isn’t it?
Tumblr media
Clarke punching Russel and threatening to shoot him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Echo in the white room with anomaly writing on her face. Maybe everyone who travels through gets some sort of coordinates tattooed onto their body (like on Octavia’s back)?
Tumblr media
Lots of bloodshed, but that’s to be expected from this show.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“It doesn’t end here.” A hint that it’s going to end back on Earth?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jordan keeping his fathers philosophy and questioning if violence is the answer. Also he looks surprisingly normal here considering he’d been brainwashed at the end of last season.
Tumblr media
Murphy with a gun to his head. I wonder who he pissed off this time?
Tumblr media
Clarke, Octavia and a Hope trapped behind glass. Possibly on a ship based on the design of the window.
Tumblr media
Madi and Russell. They’re both nightbloods so whose blood is that?
Tumblr media
The anomaly expanding which is what happened at the end of 6x13.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The final shot is the anomaly overlayed with a skull.
Tumblr media
I can’t really piece much together from this trailer but it sure does look like it’s going to be an insane season!
