didn't want to ramble about my blorbos in the tags of that last reblog but i kinda wanna fuck around and design some proper mobility aids for ellis.... i've been Thinking about him a lot since we got him n tahla'to to heavensward and decided they briefly got separated in the chaos of the banquet because ellis couldn't keep up and tahla panicked and like.... i don't think him entirely depending on magic is sustainable because it's very physically taxing on him and it still doesn't really help him enough to allow him the level of movement he's really going to need for msq, it's really more like fantasy painkillers than anything bc he's a healer. thinking emoji.

#i also don't want to just be like uuuu he ~magics~ the pain away and can then walk properly #bc that feels like a cop out #and ellis's ENTIRE concept is me being mad at the way people talk about disabled characters and tribal cultures lol #his tribe made so many accomodations for him i refuse to believe they'd not have tried to make some sort of walking aid for him too #and sharlayan ABSOLUTELY would have had to have walking aids or he just would not have been able to cope there #anyway i love bnuy #oc tag #ellis

6. do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?

generally ellis does tend to obey laws, but he's also well aware that sometimes the people making them are complete morons. he feels especially strongly towards sharlayan rulemakers in this regard. so he's absolutely not opposed to just ignoring laws if he disagrees with them, and turning a blind eye to someone going against them if he feels it's right.

32. do they have a go-to story in conversation? Or a joke?

he absolutely does not. he's HORRIBLE at conversation and will just fill any lull where he doesn't know what to say with unbearably awkward silence. he very much tends to ride off other people in the conversation (usually tahla'to, who, in his eyes, is FAR more interesting than he is) and doesn't really know what to do with himself when he's put on the spot.

22. how does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)?

he doesn't really.... get jealous in a relationship sense. while he hasn't lived with his village for a long long time, it's kinda like... you can take the viera out of the village but you can't take the village out of the viera. he's just not bothered by any of it and frankly finds it a little silly that people can even get so possessive over a partner.

he can get pretty jealous or more envious i guess over things other people have. in which case he's like a sulking child. dead silent, but staring daggers at you and clearly in a Mood, that he refuses to talk about.

Miqomarch day One-Introduction

Tahla'to was born and raised in his tribe in Gridania but moved to Limsa around 18. He considers Limsa more his home than he does Gridania. He worked as a bar tender at the Drowning Wench and as a deckhand before getting tied up in MSQ.
