Geniuses Wednesday II!

It’s that time of week again! Happy Geniuses Wednesday! I wanted to draw something or show my art, but I’m feeling too shy to do so, in fear of being called weird, so have my headcanons for the two instead.

Ellody has a major in Physics, specifically Astrophysics. :)

Mary has a Biology Major, and has plans to research genetics and game theory.

Both are famous figures in the TDI world of science, and aim to make that universe a better one to understand for all.

When going to bed, Ellody wears pajamas depicting her favorite books, with The Hunger Games at its center and she also has a plush otter she sleeps with. In term, Mary has PJs she wears with various elements from The Periodic Table, and also has an otter plushie.

I like to think that Mary mirrors Amy and Ellody mirrors Bernadette. In terms of personality at least.

They have worked with The Vegans (Laurie and Miles) in the past, and once had a short lived singing quartet. Nowadays, they often times have meetings on deep subjects.

Animatronics have piqued their interest as of lately.

Thoughts on the Ridonculous Race? Do you think it was a good season? And I know you love Kitty and Emma, but how did the rest of the new charcters on the show fare? Were Noah, Owen, Geoff, and Leonard used well too?

Ridonculous Race is fun, but it's not perfect. Some of the newcomers are great (Sisters, Ice Dancers, Goths). others were kinda wasted (Geniuses), and others I didn't really care for (Best Friends, Dad and Son)

for legacy characters, they're cool and I liked some of what they did, but I kinda wish they talked to each other a bit more. (Owen and Geoff don't interact at all iirc)

With Owen in particular, I don't like that he basically became a big child at this point as opposed to the fun outdoorsy guy he was conceived as.

Geoff and Brody, on the other hand, are great, but I wish there was more differentiating them.

Noah..I like the idea of him and Emma, but I think the execution is very strange and could have been handled better (which I can say about quite a few other plot lines in this show)

As for Leonard, he's fine, but honestly he has a lot of the same problems the rest of Gen 3 has and RR was never going to fix them (humanizing him a bit by giving him a friend in the form of Tammy was pretty cool of them to do, tho)

Putting everything aside, I think RR's strongest quality though is that it's not bitter like All-Stars was and is very funny, which puts it on the higher end of canon TD stuff for me.

Total Drama Wedding Rush (Alenoah fic I'm workin on)

THE ALENOAH BRAINROT PEOPLE 🥴🥴🥴 This one is super self indulgent I think, it's just me wanting to write them falling hopelessly in love with each other in the most inopportune situations I can throw at them 😛

This is basically a crossover of all TD series in a way, and although the focus is on the two stubborn geniuses, some of my favorite ships are definitely there 🥰🥰

So here what I got so far:

Set maybe 5 years after Total Drama Island reboot, TDI contestants are around 35 years old while the reboot contestants are over 20 (LIKELY NOT CANON SHUSH 😅)

Total Drama Wedding Rush is a coupled race (Chris is totally NOT still salty about not hosting The Ridonculous Race and he is NOT retaliating with this show 🤥), with a bit of a McLean twist later on...

There's a million for grabs, obvi 🤑🤑

Couples will go through wedding-related challenges, wearing suits and dresses, tasting tests (oh boy), meeting the parents, all the way to the walk to the altar

It's not a real wedding though

Seriously Chris cannot stress this enough, he would never lie about this

... no, for real, it's not an actual wedding 😅

Chris wanted to make it real and hide it until the end to scare to death some contestants but his stupid marketing agent said no

Noah decides to join one last reality show with Owen before committing to his new job

All the most iconic couples of all TD series are allowed, Noah didn't think him and Owen were gonna get in but they did

He will try to find out the reason during the show because something feels fishy to him

Yes there is a reason

Some other couples are Trent and Gwen, Duncan and Courtney, Julia and MK, Shawn and Jasmine, Emma and Chase... (to be determined if such couples are a thing or they're here to collaborate for the prize)

So far I can 100% confirm Rajbow, Zoke, Samkota and Shasmine 😍😍😍

It is all fine and dandy at first, reunions, laughter, love... until Chris decides to mix up the couples first challenge 🙃🙃

Contestants looked too comfortable

To regain the chance to be with your "significant other" in this game now, you HAVE to win. The winners will get to stay in the Honeymoon Suite, a place with all the comfort and luxury for a couple (😏😏😏), until the next challenge

All other couples stay at the Saltysun Cabin (Chris is insanely proud of this one), one room for each couple with the least amount of hygiene and livability 🤢

The worst couple is up to elimination and the others vote who of the two will leave

If someone is left alone they can still participate to the challenges it will be extra hard for one person, and if they lose they'll get eliminated immediately

Obviously, Noah gets the eel 😶

Yes Alejandro got in with Heather, but their status seems to be unknown

Let's just say it will take a while before team Alenoah will win the chance to choose someone else as their partners

Neither of them are happy about it

Day 54: Ellody and Mary – The Geniuses

Ellody and Mary were meh characters. They didn’t have any distinct part of them that made them as memorable as other nerd characters throughout the series.

I mostly remember Ellody had one brief interaction with Geoff that could have potentially set up a friendship akin to Duncan helping Courtney loosen up. Mary only really talked in their elimination episode, and she seemed less likely to panic than Ellody as she kept calm when the tide washed away their sandcastle blueprint. Mary especially reminded me of Amy from The Big Bang Theory show, which made me headcanon she and Ellody were part of a friend group similar to the main characters on that one.

I would be okay with seeing them compete again. Perhaps they could have a plot about learning their lesson from too much planning on their first run and learning to improvise on some tasks.
