i’m sick and didn’t give these lyrics any revision but just finished my intake meeting for therapy and these are my thoughts

#self harm cw #suicide cw #ask to tag #anyway every question that lady asked me i felt guilty for answering. she kept thinking it would somehow be plain and simple #like ‘oh so you say you had a rough childhood can you elaborate? oh you hate yourself can you elaborate?? #what exactly is going through your mind in the moments directly before you self harm?? just want to understand where you’re coming from’ #and then the meeting’s done and she says okay i can set you up to see someone once a month. sounds like you need more than that but oh well #sounds like you can’t pay for that much so we’ll be going with brief intermittent care then #just wish society would prioritize mental health so i don’t have to prove myself every time i want to access care?? #i think that’s the bottom line of what i was trying to say here is why does it take so much proof of concept to access help #that’s an improper wording. why do we need to dredge up my traumas and darkest thoughts before you just agree wow this person needs help #cause everyone needs help. is i guess the point. and i’m tired of having to bury myself in my problems in order to be seen #and be traumatizing this poor intake lady along with me. only to hardly unlock a therapist at the end #anyways. i hope everyone is doing okay. i’m gonna go eat lunch probably. but this is the situation rn #me. my post. mine. #delete later #friends only
