Season’s Greetings have some Byers-Hopper-Wheeler family  holiday Headcanons 
(Feel free to use as fic prompts just credit me)
Jonathan doing a stupid little dance to Last Christmas because he knows it'll make Nancy laugh
Nancy getting a boatload of mistletoe so she can get extra kisses
Jonathan only kissing Nancy on the cheek under the mistletoe and watching her get mad
Jonathan and Nancy having a steamy little car makeout the first time they hear "Do They Know It's Christmas" in 1984 and never being able to hear the song after without laughing hysterically
Jonathan absolutely eating it ice skating at Rockefeller Center because El wanted to go
Will and El refusing to decorate until Jonathan comes home
Mike acting like he doesn't care but refusing to participate in any snowball fight until Nancy comes home
Nancy buying Jonathan an NYU sweater for Christmas their freshman year and then promptly stealing it
The Hopper-Byers siblings having a gingerbread house contest that's judged by the Wheeler siblings
El somehow winning every year
Jonathan up on the Wheeler's roof stringing up lights while telling Mike to hold the ladder straight
Mike incredibly distracted because Will and Holly are making a snowman
Nancy yelling at Mike that if he kills Jonathan she's gonna kill him
Will and Mike attempting to wrap gifts for the party using glue as a joke and getting it all over their hands
Ted saying God Bless Ronald Reagan before dinner one year and Jonathan nearly spitting out his drink

Mike and Nancy hiding in the basement during the Wheeler annual Christmas party and getting drunk off a bottle of stolen Champagne
Will and Jonathan desperately trying to find them because they're tired of dealing with Wheeler relatives
Will and Mike taking a post Christmas dinner walk ending up at the elementary school and making out on the swing set
Jonathan at his wits end during the party after being asked six times when he and Nancy are having a baby because "they've been married for two years already and aren't getting any younger" when in reality they're only 24

Holly mentioning going to see Home Alone 2 and Jonathan biting his tongue so he doesn't blurt out "how the fuck do you get lost in New York it's a grid system"
Will and Mike getting lost in New York the first time they visit Nancy and Jonathan for the holidays

Will and Mike in 1997 agonizing in the Macy's over which "baby's first Christmas" ornament to buy for Jonathan and Nancy's first daughter
Nancy almost burning the house down trying to make cookies with El
Nancy cursing up a storm as she and Jonathan try to place the stickers on their daughters Barbie Dream House on Christmas Eve
Jonathan complaining every year about the commercialism and capitalism of the Thanksgiving Day Parade but going anyways because the looks on his daughters faces when Santa shows up are too cute
Jonathan silently Thankful that the Barney Balloon explosion happened when his oldest daughter was a newborn because she loves Barney and he couldn't take watching her be upset
Everyone frantically buying Beanie Babies because El gets super into collecting them in the late 90s
The Wheelers retiring to Florida once Holly turns 18, Nancy and Jonathan going to Christmas down there once when their oldest daughter is like 2 and vowing never again on the plane ride home
El having the Christmas tradition of taking her two Nieces to tea at the plaza
Will making cute little reindeer hands with his Nieces
Mike dressing up as Santa for the girls and absolutely hamming it up
Jonathan staying up with Joyce to watch all of It's A Wonderful Life after everyone else has gone to bed
The "no Christmas lights inside" ban being lifted after Jonathan and Nancy's oldest daughter asks why there's no lights
Nancy and Jonathan only using photos that Jonathan took for their Christmas cards and as a result he's rarely in them
Nancy & Mike finding out YEARS later that Will & Jonathan are Jewish on Joyce's side and them being like surely we mentioned this
Nancy & Jonathan's eccentric youngest daughter deciding to bring back celebrating Hanukkah
Nancy being fully onboard after finding out Lonnie was the reason the Byers stopped celebrating when Jonathan was like six
The Byers family circa 2015 becoming a Chrismukkah family despite Nancy and Jonathan only celebrating Christmas for the first 25 years of their marriage
