I got tagged by @thebeingofeverything ! Thanks for the tag, and sorry it took so long for me to get to it. Life's been busy!

Name: Depends on who is asking ;) I either go by my nick name or a variation of my middle name, which I also use as a pen name in some cases: Kairi

Nickname: I have too many to count. Almost all of my friends have told me my first name really doesn't suit me, so they come up with some creative alternatives, mostly based on animals. The most popular one is Cat, sometimes spelled Kat, which yes, has lead to teachers asking if I prefer to go by Katie. Others include Verona (Russian for "crow") and Raven. I had a girlfriend who called me Koneko all the time but that one never took to anyone else.

Zodiac sign: it's complicated. Technically I'm a Leo, but I was born "between" two signs, so sometimes I'm a Cancer.

Height: 4 foot 11 inches, or about 147cm. I'm a midget, it's true.

Language: English

Nationality: technically American but I wish I wasn't half the time.

Favourite Flower: Delphinium/Larkspur. The nice, ocean blue kind. I also like Monkshood but it's too deadly to put in my garden.

Favourite Season: Autumn. I love fall colors and I like the cold.

Favourite Scent: Petrichor, probably. But not any petrichor. Rain falling on a dusty, high elevation desert petrichor. (Aka the thing I miss the most about California). I also like the smell of old perfumes, old books and old people's houses.

Favourite Colour(s): Dark crimson red, (blood or burgundy) and bright blue or blue-green. Given a choice I'll take the blue over the red.

Favourite Animal(s): too vague a question. In the wild, I enjoy birds, though Corvids are probably in my top five. In captivity, I'm a snake and spider gal. Love tarantulas and reptiles in general, though tropical fish come in pretty close. Don't get me wrong, I've had pet birds, but I think most captive birds are too much work unless you work at home.

Favourite fictional characters: oof this one gets me. I like a lot of them, but there's certainly a pattern (see post Sympathy for the Devil) I have to say though that Rin from Blue Exorcist is an unexpected favourite of mine. I don't usually "go" for the hero type like that, but Rin isn't entirely heroic.

Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate?: All three depending on my mood.

Number of hours of sleep: at the moment, between 4 and 6. Normally about 9.

Number of blankets on my bed: Alas I only kind of have a bed at the moment, since I'm sorta couch surfing/homeless. But I do sleep with two blankets and a sheet sometimes.

Blog made: um...2018? Maybe?

Number of followers: 107 last I looked. Yeah, I'm not winning any popularity contests, here.

Random fact: kinda gory, but you are 10x more likely to contract a Staph infection from an Iguana bite than just about anything else. You're also very likely to be permanently crippled after the fact, since a grown iguana can bite a grown man's forearm down to the bone, severing tendons that control precise motor functions of the hand. And it's a pretty common iguana-related injury if not the most common, besides missing fingers. (And that, folks, is why they make TERRIBLE pets).
