Alh*itham & K*veh relationship analysis (spoilers below)

I said before that Alh*itham holds a level of "resentment" for K*veh, but what I really meant was "contempt." It's the contempt you feel when you're pushed past the point of sympathy and pity. You see someone you care about that's in a bad state, but the thing is that they're ALWAYS in a bad state due to nobody's fault but their own. They go from pitying to pathetic and pitiful.

This line isn't because Alh*itham literally refuses to do good deeds. It's because giving into K*veh's nagging would only serve to enable his guilty conscience. K*veh's guilt is what pushes him to clean and do things. One would think that helping K*veh would help ease his guilt and ease his stress, but all that does is put a bandaid on a gaping wound. What K*veh needs to learn is simply to stop. Learn he doesn't need to clean. He doesn't need to do the errands. He doesn't need to be "good." He doesn't need to give. He doesn't need to DO. He can just BE and that's okay.

But K*veh doesn't learn. He doesn't catch the hint. He doesn't change. Then the thought comes, "Why should I care about someone that doesn't want to get better?" And the next thought, "But unfortunately I DO care, so this whole situation irritates me even more." Alh*itham can ignore K*veh for the most part, but the times he gets too much, Alh*itham's irritation and contempt begins to seep in and he gets more biting.

It confuses me why people pair these two together because they are not what the other person needs. K*veh needs care. He needs love. He needs reassurance. Alh*itham needs independence. He needs low maintenance. He needs stability. As of right now, they only make the other worse.

ok kaveh angst semi-rant, tw: suicide mentions/discussions

it might be self-projection but ive seen a good number of kaveh angst pieces where he burns out and offs himself and i just can't see him doing that ever. let me explain

the turning point of kaveh's life is suddenly losing his father and having to deal with his own grief + his mother's grief. he knows what losing a loved one does, the irreversible damages it causes, the way he'll have to carry it forever. it never really stops hurting, even if there're good days - there's also a lot of bad ones

perhaps it's only my personal opinion, but once you've met grief, you can't fathom putting someone else, someone you love through it. im not saying you don't think about it, but acting on it? with kaveh, i really can't see it - someone else, maybe, im not in everyone's head, but kaveh specifically, no. grief destroyed him, and he's extremely empathetic, idealistic etc so he'd probably rather live through actual hell than subject al-haitham, cyno and tighnari (as in the people closest to him) to this. same with his mother - even if she's gonna to fontaine and built another home there, she's still his mother and he's still her son

i know it's not "that deep" but actually it is to me specifically because i've lived through grief at an early age and i've seen and endured the damages it does, and that's actually a big part of like. why im still there to this day. so yeah no i can't see kaveh acting on it, he'd ultimately be held back by the love he knows other carry for him

Most Character Development: ash and hajime Trash Muse: junko and shiro could battle this out in their own right, tsubaki is close behind though. The Meme-Lord: leon and yasuhiro are pretty big on this! Most Likely to Start a War: looks back at junko, shiro and tsubaki ... Worst Personality: as to not give the usual contenders here, the worst to show their true personality is the ult imposter, as they spend the majority of their life being everyone else but themselves. Best Singer: sayaka and ibuki! Most Attractive Muse: everyone. junko is canonly a model, mukuro pulls it off well, byakuya has some sort of fanclub, shinobu also does, yasuke i think manages to slot in here, too. diluc also does! Biggest Heart: makoto, kaveh, youtarou, joe and akane. Falls in Love Quickest: ... leon kuwata. Most Likely to Drop Their Phone in the Toilet: yasuhiro has done this multiple times. my brain also goes to ildio bc he wouldn't understand the importance of a mobile phone and how it isn't, infact, waterproof. Ice Ruler: people assume this is sakura, but it's more byakuya, yasuke, fuyuhiko, kai and i imagine diluc and tatsuomi must get referred as this a lot. The Edgelord: with the definition i read, the closest i have is junko, modern!au sort of hu tao, shiro and normal au mitsuyo and licht may post things that are don't quite meet social norms, but not for the intention of disturbing/upsetting people but rather to share their point (shiro would care the least when he found out) Most Tragic Backstory: all of my serva.mps, shinobu, kai, fuyuhiko, the ragbros and kaveh all fall pretty hard here. Most Awkward: leon in romance, most people would consider licht to be, tenko in most general conversations, akane's one liners, hu tao's discussions on the dead, yanfei outside of law related substances. Busy Bee: kiyotaka and thoma! very in tune with their duties! Most Clueless: kuro and kiyotaka again ... akane gets a mention as a treat. Most Likely to Forget Their Wallet at Home: kuro doesn't exactly know what a wallet is, kaveh's has been replaced with some AOU's (alhaitham owes you), mitsuyo is just ... forgetful, kaeya stopped bringing his after he realised diluc would somehow give him something for free, akane doesn't own a wallet, makoto has terrible luck. put them all together and there's a lot of unpaid bills here. Best Dressed: while it does go to junko, tareks ultimately someone who dresses impeccably well too. Biggest Flirt: kaeya. just kaeya. Most Dramatic: this is between kaveh, celeste and mikuni. no takebacks Least Likely to Show Up Late: KIYOTAKA. it's literally one of the main reasons how someone was able to murder him. One with Weirdest Habit: .... have you heard about danganronpa ultimates. each and every one of my muses have quirks that come off as a little unusual. Most Likely to Be Caught at the Gym: mondo, sakura, akane, tenko, kaito, shinobu and probably diluc!! 👍 Which muse would you most likely get along with?: genuinely think i could be bffs with like. kaito and akane, maybe licht bc i'd actually listen to him. kaveh im including because hes just too sweet not to love imho. 🔪 Which muse would you most likely be enemies with: i dont think i'd be actively enemies but rather a lot of more forceful muses might find me absolutely terrified of them irl. outside the problem trio. yasuke and byakuyas bluntness wouldn't be something i can handle too well, if mondo shouted too loud i would avoid that in general.
