what kinda music do you listen to? any recs? ive been listening to the same stuff for the past weeks and im bored
just to preface: not guaranteeing quality, will likely miss a bunch of stuff. dividing them into categories
more upbeat/less quiet songs, most of these are actual songs: i really like abba (favourites: gimme! gimme! gimme!, money money money, take a chance on me), dolly parton (favourites: jolene and 9 to 5), as well as others like monster mash and stuff by studio killers, and also just regular the killers the band. queen too, liiiittle tiny bit of the darkness, also keep it up by the boomtown rats has been stuck in my head for like a trillion years. also like of course lemon demon (view monster is a very good album) and mother mother (really like verbatim, neighbor, arms tonite, n ghosting) and stuff but thats sort of an ‘of course theyre there’ thing. also i really like stuff by toybox (sailor song, best friend) and ‘when i grow up’ by the pussycat dolls
“““““music”““““: this song, this song, this song, this song, thenfor this one is a little less mobile-friendly cause it’s 2 songs at once. this one and this one
quieter songs, probably a bit melancholy too but maybe not who knows: stuff by the crane wives is always very good (steady steady, curses, tongues & teeth, the hand that feeds) and i have talked about her stuff many times but i very much love vashti bunyan’s stuff. PLEASE listen to vashti bunyan anyone who reads this. this whole album is delightful and so is this one but if taht’s a bit much to start with then rose hip november, if i were, same but different, rainbow river, here before, and just another diamond day (the song) are all delightful also i very much like the blasting company - they’re the ones that did the soundtrack for over the garden wall which is Incredible and i adore wholeheartedly (really really love send me a peach its one of my favourites). but i recommend madam selma, simon was, and love for a writer producer director and star
i could go on much longer but i hope this isnt too long as is.. i hope this is helpful!! if u need me to break down paragraphs or anything more just let me know, anyone is welcome to follow this and if you do please tell me your thoughts on them... oh! anything i mentioned is available on youtube but i don’t know about other places like spotify or anything, i just go to youtube for all my music stuff.
