i got tagged by @verycoolwearsleather and now i have to pretend i have a writing process haha

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

it says 52 but there's actually a lot more due to orphaning/anon-ing things.

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

345,519 but again i'm not sure how much tha's counting

pretty sure this is just cus it's the oldest fic i have since the account reboot because it absolutely does not merit being anywhere near the top 10 lol it's just a 5+1 about other mando being obvious (it's anon'd cus i got bored of a load of my fics and didn't want them as part of the emptyhalf canon anymore)

for something i started writing offhand cus some of my friends were saying there should be more trans men in f1 fic, this one sure grew legs. i'm still insanely moved by the comments it gets and the way it seemed to resonate with people. i'm not sure i can really convey how dumb i actually am in a way that'd make people believe me but i really did just write this on vibes and it's one of the things i can say i'm genuinely glad i did. idk, it's just queer porn really but maybe we need more of that.

you know i don't even think this is close to my best mando fic (personal choice is no plans of staying on) so there's no accounting for taste and you absolutely should practice death of the author or whatever. anyway, it's mando cohabitation era boundary breakdown stuff where they fuck and then go on a date about it.

literally THEE most head empty omegaverse threesome fic in history y'all are horny as fuck. it literally only got written bc george did some dumb insta post where he called lando and alex his mates and also then was walking around looking horny af in the black fireproofs and mask when he stood in for lewis. there is NO nutritional content here even by the fast food standards of emptyhalf fic.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

i uh. i should. i would like to but my brain is quite severely broken. i do read them all and i bookmark a lot in open tabs to come back to and reply to because they mean a lot but then i have 6000 tabs open and no executive function.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

we don't do that here. i guess maybe if you dig into the far distant past then it was probably i'm not just a fuck up, i'm the fuck up you love which is 18k words of jev not really getting over daniel that ends on a sort of optimistically blasted-open note.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

most of them are happy but probably actually pick me up, no headlights where george and max end up with their weird little family worked out and the kids are doing well, y'know

8. Do you get hate on fics?

no i don't think enough people read them to beef me lol

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

hahahaha oh yea. i like to think i write something along the lines of realistic queer sex, with the way that means it's mostly kind of funny and sometimes awakward and isn't elegant or arch or even particularly romantic except that you're getting to do it with the person you do it with. writing lando and oscar being straight with each other, even if it's in a cringe fail way, made me realise i really do not write straight people and i feel a bit like one of those painfully hetero actors who does a gay kissing scene and talks about how they had to get themselves in the mindset by watching the l word or whatever haha. what do straight people do? who are they?

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

i was gonna say no but then i remembered i wrote logan and oscar going ghosthunting and being kinda pass-agg horny about it because. idk? logan gave me ryan bergara vibes.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

i think someone reposted some of mine awhile ago and it got dealt with before i really knew anything about it idk

i don't know tbh. someone made a podfic of one of my fics a way back.

yeah i used to do that quite a lot but now. i am a lone wolf. (too perverse for other people's minds)

i don't. i don't wanna let doubt enter into it but my daniel goes to fe fic is up against a number of the dark souls boss level demons in my own brain 😔

uh. i uh. i can write on my phone? i have a relaxed attitude to whether what i write is any good at all? i don't actually think i really have any.

people quite often say i have a lot of emotional intelligence in my fics which is very funny to me because i am a deeply unemotionally intelligent person so idk how that's happened really.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

look we could be here all day.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

i guess it has never bothered me so long as the reader could be reasonably expected to work out the meaning from the context.

cardcaptor sakura (i was 14)

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

hmmm. in terms of thinking it's like, good or whatever it's probably don't say no or you'll have to go, the fucked up valtteri/george mutual seat envy/horror of being compared to lewis hamilton thing. or really, it's an old spy au fic called ten seconds before sunrise that i deleted ages ago so: sorry about that.

but favourite is probably some dumb mando shit or i have extreme recency bias so maybe logan and oscar go ghosthunting or whatever. oh wait, no, it's genders maxy the how-to-find-your-identity-post-racing-in-your-pussy treatise that was born of crack but ended up. no, it's still crack. anyway, classic emptyhalf shit tbh.

Only Friends เพื่อนต้องห้าม Ep 5

I'm finally caught up and oh, OH, this was a ride. This was very much Sand's episode, and I have a feeling when he finally does something to disappoint me he's going to devastate me … and I welcome it. He's such a well-written character so far. Feels very, very real.

Ray … it feels like he's genuinely got feelings for Sand, but he's also very much not over Mew and NOT ready to put a name to or commit to being more than fwb with Sand.

Mew kind of grew on me even more this episode, except for his inexplicable-to-me attraction to Top.

I missed Namcheuam this episode and hope to see her more next week.

Nick trying to be more like Top this episode was awful to watch, Boston seeming to react to it in a positive way was possibly worse.

Boston is the epitome of 22-y-o "I'm just telling it like I see it" and doesn't care what or who he hurts in the process. At this point I'm pretty sure the fact that Neo plays him so charmingly is his only saving grace. And the person who filmed him? probably Drake's character. Wonder whether he'll get a name eventually … which reminds me we still haven't met whoever it is Papang plays.

ANYWAY. That' the tl;dr; rambling live watch commentary below. I'm going to dive into the tag and try to see what I missed.

childhood trauma stuff, reducing stigma and all that i guess

didn't want to put it in the tags of that last post bc op and such may not want to see that kind of stuff

but dang i did so much stuff online that was unhealthy and risky as a child in middle and high school. Teaching internet safety to kids is so important to me, I wouldn't want them to do the things I did.

But like, at least by 13 I was talking to adult men online and being very sexual with them. Mostly strangers, but one of them was this teacher I'd had at a computer camp that I started talking to online and had a crush on, and like, at 13 I had no understanding of why that was so inappropriate and damaging to me to be acting on that. I even convinced my mom to go to a store to meet up with him in person, while we were "dating."

My risky behaviors didn't just come out of nowhere. I couldn't manage to tell anyone about this next part until I was an adult, not even my therapist as a teenager-- I didn't think anyone would care, and I was too embarrassed, but not talking about it prevented me from getting help and it made me more vulnerable to being abused by others. Secrecy enables predators, and so the more we bring this uncomfortable stuff to light, the more we can protect each other from them.

But throughout pre-school, daily, I was sa'd by another child, and supposedly no one knew. One of the common symptoms from being sa'd is being hypersexual, but I don't think the adults around me knew that or if they did, didn't notice my behavior. I was also discouraged from talking about my body throughout life. Like, even when I was older and had a period for the first time, my mom just gave me the box of pads, asked if i knew how to use them (i lied and said yes because of the shame that'd been instilled) and that was it.

idk like, even with the metoo movement and the inches society is making toward de-stigmatizing victims talking about their own experiences, it's still hard to talk about it, which kinda means i should get more comfortable talking about it in a healthy way in order to reduce that shame.

Having worked through that trauma, I take all reasonable measures to protect my own kid from ever going through that while careful not to instill an anxiety in her about how she goes through life. Educating her so she knows about her own body and that she can talk about whatever, no topic being off-limits. Educating her about online safety as she starts to interact with people she doesn't know online in slightly less restricted environments. I make sure to check out the environments she'll be in-- my pre-school where I was assaulted had chaotic bathrooms, where there were a few stalls and teachers didn't supervise very well. So this boy was able to force me into a stall every day, and teachers either did not notice (like there were only 3 or 4 stalls, idk why) or didn't think it was a problem). Ugh, and my parents would leave me at his house or have him over on weekends, because they thought we were such good friends. So, when looking for schools, it was always an important thing that they had single person bathrooms where only one kid would be allowed in at a time. And I have to know adults well enough to be able to trust them to be alone with her.

It actually wasn't until I was choosing a pre-school for her that I told anyone what had happened to me. The family kept pressuring me to choose the same pre-school they'd sent me to, and I was like No, I am Not sending her there, imagine how guilty I'd feel sending her to the same place if the same thing that happened to me happened to her? No way. It hadn't even seemed that different, when I visited it again around that time.

Tbh, I don't blame the kid who harmed me; what he did was very likely a result of him having been assaulted, and passing that behavior on because he didn't know it was ok. Like, we were 4 or 5, I don't expect that level of understanding for a child that young. I do think the teachers I had were incredibly irresponsible and put that more on them, than anyone.

First of all aaah????

Okay, now that that's out of the way, Tay what the fuck. I am gonna assume she is Defector, then? If you even assigned her a role, that is! Why would you just SHOOT oh my god Tay. It's valid though, if the power station got sabotaged, I'd be paranoid too. Not that paranoid that id SHOOT AT MY FRIENDS, but I kinda get where she's coming from.

RIP Ze's hard work, that sucks :// I think its sweet how the others care for Ze (special s/o to Platy at this point) and I do think it is interesting how differently both Ze and Chilled deal with the other being hurt and idk if the thought that Chilled is used to it by now makes it worse or not. Either way, it hurts :(

To reiterate: I love how much they care about each other, honestly it is very heartwarming. Get yourself friends like that, seriously. I know you've said in the tags it's interpretable as romantic zrc but i just love how unromantic it is and how it's just friends who mean a lot to each other and want the other to survive and to be okay. If Chilled turns out to be a traitor, I'm gonna be so pissed at him, like dude what the fuck. Ze worked so hard and died so much, you better be good.

It must be incredibly painful to get shot and have another person put their hand close to the wound as well, kudos to him for enduring it so well! Hope you feel better soon, bud!

Also, Ze what the fuck why would you run towards someone with a GUN? I mean i know why, but still!

I wouldn't be surprised if people are being pissed at Tay now and all this makes me wonder how the exiling will work, considering you are unable to enter certain rooms in PW and you can't really block them off or anything if you apply that concept to real life. Or as real as it's gonna get here xD

Let's hope Ze wont get mauled by wolves this time. Or freeze. Or starve. On this note, I want to thank Shubble for being a great medic and holding the group together. Its a thankless job and she is doing her best - seeing your friends in pain must do bad things to your mind, especially if it wasn't a nature accident but a "my friend shot my other friend", you're really ticking off the trauma bingo, huh? :D

Additionally, I keep wondering about how Zes lefthandedness translates, because surely some tools must be built to primarily support righties? And I know fanfic is riddled with description like "the taller one" or w/ but despite my soft spot for height differences, I am glad you didn't insert it every second sentence but basically just mention it when its relevant. I am sad GaLm isnt in it as far as I can tell, because then it'd be two Stevens, two Anthonys and two Zachs/Zacks and i think that'd be funny as heck lmao.

Also also i love the tidbits of worldbuilding we got! So they did train for this at least somewhat! Although i'm gonna go out on a limb and assume they thought they were going on vacation, instead of being stranded and waiting to be rescued.

Is the timelimit still an issue? Like, instead of 30min its 30 days? Or is it completely gone? Anyways, hope youre having a great day and i loved the drama of this chapter!

Omg im so happy you noticed that Tay is defector! I thought it fit her well and was a nice way to ramp up some tension. Yeah I think the paranoia, the atmosphere they’re in, and the environment too all contributed to one snapping moment for her - which definitely happens in the game for certain people too :(

Thank you! I thought that in this situation a lot of care would happen, especially towards Ze given his hard work and it clearly affected him personally. I also liked showcasing the difference in how people care for eachother too, and some bonus bit of angst for Chilled always going to find Ze but in the instance where Chilled is shot, Ze runs away (understandable but still). I very much think that as Ze continues his small transformations, he finds himself defaulting to running in situations where he is stressed or needs to take action - in the games he usually favours actions and lone wolfing over discussions and talking it out.

I love writing Chilled and Ze interactions because they have such a natural dynamic from being good friends but they also butt heads on a lot of aspects. They always know when eachother are ghosts trying to signal to eachother, and I love that Chilled goes to Ze with all his suspicions and Ze likes to go to Chilled as a ghost :D

Shubble a real MVP <3 I haven’t especially thought about left-handedness which is kind of funny because I am left-handed and know personally the struggles of living in a right-handed world :’( Sorry for no Galm!

I worry for our boy Ze but I don’t want to hurt him too much! He’ll be out in the colds alone but maybe he’ll be alright... right? And the group will be there in his absence, we’ll have to see if anything changes there.

Thank you for noticing the worldbuilding! I’m trying to inject it in there! Yeah, they very much thought this was going to be a vacation, it’s a shame it all went wrong. Time limit isn’t fixed because I don’t think that works with the kind of universe logic I’m going for, but they’re in a world of finite resources and they can’t survive there endlessly, so it’s more a matter of escaping before they run out of food/wood/other stuff.

I was wondering how the kids in ur different universes (emma, hwayoung, hope, lucas) will be in high school?? I feel that'd be interesting to know haha

emma: you know that girl who seems to be friends with everyone and doesn’t really have a secure friend group?? i feel like that would be emma!! noT saying that she won’t have any close friends in high school but it’s just that she’s such a social butterfly that she likes to bounce from group to group and no one has a problem with it because she’s nice aND she’s hilarious!! she doesn’t really care that she doesn’t have a BFF because a) that sounds like a lot of commitment and b) she already has a bff and her name is mom (and also tae) plus she gets invited to literally everything because she is the life of the frickin PARTY also she gets along really well with all of the teachers (thank u tae) but she’s not an obnoxious teacher’s pet or anything (“um,,.,. you forgot to collect the homework for this week sir”) she’s just vEry charming (“is that a new tie?? it looks greAT! very trendy.”) but sometimes she takes advantage of her relationship with her teachers and tries to make them give her extensions on a project or an essay.,.,.,. she’s very sneaky.,.,. you have to be very alert around miss emma,,.

hwayoung: there’s always that one very popular girl who everyone wants to be or be friends with and in this case that would be miss min hwayoung (only her closest friends call her delilah and only her mama/appa call her dee)!! super duPer nice to everyone but can be a little ditzy at times to the point where it’s easy to manipulate her and she’ll just keep doing things for you because it’s veRy hard to say no!! because she doesn’t want to offend anyone!! and doesn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings!! please don’t take advantage of hwayoung because her dad will probably sue the socks off of you!! yES she’s rich but she doesn’t really like to show it because she’s not the type to flaunt what she has! if you point out her gucci bracelet she gets sheepish and discreetly takes it off!! she’s a natural-born leader (wonder who she gets that from) so of couRse she’s the class president! very responsible and sends out weekly newsletters to the entire grade aND she’s even head of the prom committee,.,. you would think that she’d try out to be head cheerleader but she’s as clumsy as her mother so that’s a hard pass lolz

hope: if the sun was a person then that person would be our little hopey!! unfortunately there is no high school dance team because apparently not a lot of people are into dancing?? which is lame?? so hope settled for trying out for the cheerleading team and you bet ur ass she got in! cheerleading is the closest thing she’ll get to dancing professionally in high school and she’s actually having a lot of fun with it and it’s even moRe fun when her dad comes and watches her during the football games! (he’s a little embarrassing sometimes tho like that one time he started filming her anD dancing along to the routine and hope will just pretend like she doesn’t know who that strange man twerking in the audience is) when she’s not cheerleading she actually likes to keep to herself! she likes to think of herself as an introvert and also her best friend is her dad so that’s probably another reason why she doesn’t go to all the after parties and stuff. still lovEs her peaches but she’s moved on to the actual fruit instead of the canned stuff because heLLO have you seen the insane amount of syrup from the canned peaches??

luke: ask anyone in the grade if they’ve ever had oR if they currently have a crush on luke y/l/n because i guarantee the answer is an astounding YEAH! are you kidding me?? look at that handsome face! the pierced ears! the pillowy lips! the big... BRAIN! prepare to roll your eyes because yes ladies and gents he is indeed the quarterback for the football team. he kinda grew out of soccer and also it’s fun to taCKLE people in football so >:-) veRy down to earth and sweet and surprisingly somewhat bashful?? okay look he knows he’s more than decent-looking which means he knows that some people might like him but if you talk to him about it he gets all blushy and all “me?? nah, i don’t think so...” idk!!! he’s very flattered by the romantic attention he gets but it makes him nervous!! his older sister works at the school sometimes as a substitute teacher and one time she subbed in for his english class and he got so excited because das his sissy!!!!!! he even stays in the classroom and eats lunch with her when she comes because he adores her so mucH and also she always brings outside drinks and snacks for him lol. hardworking, studious, diligent but let’s be real he’s only like that because y/n whiPped his butt into shape!! anyways if you took a soft boi and a little sprinkle of e-boy then you would end up with (1) luke.,.,. so what i’m saying is that yes i have a crush on luke so suE ME

Your Thoughts for OW’s Lore At Blizzcon

**Edit - would help to tag you hurr durr @freckledmccree

I like how you will indulge in detailed speculation and interpretation of OW lore and don’t center all ideas around one specific (noncanon) idea but will admit occasional personal bias. I also really appreciate that you steer relatively clear from fanon and when people respond to your writings you don’t have an attitude or seemingly disregard them. Sooo, that’s why I wrote this disgustingly long thing even tho I’m paranoid about being annoying.

(Apology beforehand if you have answered any of these before, I have not properly stalked your blog yet. Also, excuse my rambling I did my best to be coherent. Lastly, I only have one friend who is kinda into OW and I feel bad to bother them 24/7 so I talk a lot in this.)

McCree Speculation

The following assumes that the new cinematic will be McCree’s.

If there is another known character in the short along with McCree, excluding flashbacks, who do you think it would be?

I have 3-4 ideas even though I would not say they are likely. And with any of these I don't imagine a role any larger than Brig's in Honor and Glory or even Zarya in Infiltration.

A.) Genji. I don't think it's likely but I wouldn't be surprised. It also might be risky on Blizzard's part because many are salty about Genji's abundance of lore compared to others. (Which is dumb and I would gladly rant on it but it's not the point) Reasons:

Notable increase of McCree's interactions w/him.

McCree might've left OW in a less professional fashion than others. Which would mean he may not have anything to be alerted by for the recall. Especially since he went underground for a while. Winston’s contact info? Long since changed.

From how I interpret “Dragons” it seems that Genji has received the call as well as offered Hanzo a choice to go w/him “The world is changing once again, Hanzo. And it's time to pick a side.” So why not others?

Genji has also been canonically in touch w/at least one other ex OW member. So why not try to get in touch with another member that we know he directly worked with?

My logic - Why would their interactions matter?

McCree's asking about how Genji dealt with the loss of his body emotionally/physically as well as Genji's response leaves room for the implication that Genji knows how he lost his arm.

Why would Genji go in person?

Well, I mean you probably don't wanna broadcast that your getting the highly illegal band back together. In which said band also is also hated by the UN and every other terrorist organization on the planet.

How will Genji know how to find him?

Cause he's a ninja, duh. But seriously McCree most likely said something before he quit OW and if not Genji would just have to look at the news and he'd be there.

B.) Sombra. If anything I wouldn't be surprised by a small reference to her rather than actually seeing her.

My logic - I expect Sombra to get involved with a little bit of everything. She likes making people question their beliefs on who is “right” or “wrong”.

She would most likely know about the recall so if she wants to manipulate that at all she could be the one to tell McCree about it. Idk, she’s a wildcard with anything.

C.) Fio. The Blackwatch Pilot in Retribution. (I used “known” characters loosely) I'm not sure on my certainty with her, tbh. But I do find it rather intriguing. (I said no flashbacks but maybe with this one)

Fio's only lines that are not directly related towards the mission are all directed towards McCree.

The tone of them is clearly on the teasing/banter side of things.

My logic - Why have this side character show any interest in conversation outside of the task at hand?

If she was just being used for the game mode and as lore filler it would make more sense to have only lines relating to the mission. Or have generalized ones for the team. But she has multiple focusing on the one and only Jesse McCree.

Reasons for that could be that they ran out of time to add other interactions. Which would explain why McCree does not acknowledge her comments. (The only time he was quiet during the mission is when she talked to him, rip you got denied girl) Or it could be that they knew each other previously or trained together in some of the early days of Blackwatch.

D.) Mercy. This one I would be surprised to see but it would have some logic to it.

Losing his arm, depending on the how/when/where.

She is not one of the characters who speak to him about his arm.

My logic - Who fixed his arm up for him?

Depending on how/when/where he lost his arm he may have shyed away from public hospitals. Especially with Talon seemingly controlling so much of the press. So he may of wanted someone he personally trusted as well as doctor patient confidentiality.

Why does Mercy of all people not ask about the prosthetic?

Out of the people who question McCree Mercy isn't one of them. Which may seem odd since she has known him for so long and her being a doctor. However, she does call out his smoking. So this proves she does pay attention to his over all health. (Which I am aware is a much older interaction) But it would have been a good opportunity to have her inquire about the arm there if she doesn't already know.

Do you think McCree will directly receive the recall or from some other source?

What do you think of the fact that McCree lost his left arm specifically?

If the loss of McCree's arm is related to the Deadlock Gang do you speculate that it was intentionally the arm that had his tattoo on it? With how far McCree got in his career/life with OW and potentially spilling info on the gang when caught some people might want him to hurt. Not just die. To me forcefully sawing off the branding of the gang he betrayed would fit the bill. As well as be a good warning for others. (Not that blizzard would show that)

How do you imagine the camaraderie within Deadlock to be?

I ask this since in “Hero” right before the Los Muertos member throws the grenade it shows him actively choosing to help the other gang members (very broken gang members thanks to Soldier 76)onto the back of the truck instead of getting out ASAP.

I just found that to be notable in how their social structure works. It makes more sense for Los Muertos specifically since they originally wanted to stand up against the politics and speak out for the people still suffering from the Omnic Crisis. They are not formed from the shady work they do.

Deadlock, however, doesn't seem to represent a core ideology. So I wouldn't be surprised if when OW caught some of them the others ran. Especially since McCree would probably still be pretty low in the pecking order at the time.

Can you imagine a shoot out in the warehouse tho, that'd be so risky people could be anywhere and there's no good line of sight except for where the truck drives through. Sneaky teen McCree climbing around and ish

Do you expect/hope for the origin on any mementos to be revealed?

My only idea is his iconic BAMF belt buckle. We know he's had it for quite a while since he wears it here:

Just thought Blizzard could do something cute with it if they wanted.

Do you have any thoughts on the Deadlock Torb skin?

Idk, this is kinda silly but people have talked about it. People do have a good point that it’s odd for him to have that skin.

Lastly, do you have any little head canons that you hope to see confirmed?

Nothing serious just simple personal hopes from the cinematic which may or may not set you up for disappointment cause fun

Other Blizzcon Lore Speculation

Do you have any ideas for the new hero?

Personally, I do not have any super strong theories but I do have a few loose ideas. Tbh, I can’t especially convince myself of any these besides the likelihood of said character being a tank.

A.) Talon Tank

Reasons:

Moira’s origin story contains two possible indicators towards this, or another Talon member in general.

We need another main tank added to the roster (opinion)

Talon has a character for every role except tanking (weak)

Popular request (weak)

My Logic lacking- Majority of this idea comes from Moira’s origin story which shows this relatively well known photo with a person or armored suit of some kind on the back panel here:

I used to think of this to be much harder evidence than I do now since it looks like it could be a uncolored design used for the Talon members in Retribution. However, there’s another detail in the photo (including the version with the different back panel that I believe could point to another member. Each character, excluding Moira, has their line of sight going to the same spot. My doodles for emphasis:

(Reaper is kind of hard to tell but that’s basically his entire role in Talon at this point, lol) Who are they all looking at? This could just be an artistic choice for viewer immersion but it also could be rather purposeful. To me, it looks like a proposition to someone, with the panel in the back for emphasis. If not a proposition, perhaps the workings of a plan or setting clear expectations for said person. (either version works for this context) This someone must be rather important to have them all there. Moira is looking back at the rest of them, seemingly reading their expressions/body language. She seems pleased but then again she’s a tad bit odd.

B.) Mystery Characters

Idek, I added this cause I could. This is not likely at all but will remain on the list of possibilities as long as Overwatch shall live.

Have been shown or spoken of very early on but nothing since

Recently mentioned names but no physical hints of who/what they are

Popular demand (weak)

My logic (or lack there of) - I have exactly one tiny speck of logic for this. Mystery characters shown and/or spoken of before the cancellation of the First Strike comic are still occasionally brought up to the OW team. Yet they have conveniently not retconned them. Why not say they are no longer a significant part of the story when there has been no updates on them for 2ish years? Maybe they are just keeping the possibility open. Liao and the two from Ana’s origin story are the best (only?) examples:

There is also more recently mentioned characters such as Ray and Fio. Ray was discussed mostly early this year and all we know about them is the following:

We do not know anything else about who or what Ray is. I do not 100% believe Ray is an actual person but you never know. The comment on the beard and his response to has Ray’s combat experience could be some teasing on Michael Chu’s part. To me, Ray is either a person, an omnic, or some sort of computer system used in the Orca. I should note that another AI other than Athena would seem odd especially with the whole reason OW formed and all.

(Fio I have already discussed but at least we know she’s an actual person, hopefully...OW is weird man)

What do you think of the common theory of Sanjay Korpal being the next hero?

Personally, I think he lacks the look of an OW character. He looks rather plain to me, almost like a background character used to fill up comic space. I do believe his role is going to grow substantially in the lore but as an in game hero? Eh, I don’t know. Another thing I struggle with imagining is him being a tank like a lot of people presume. It would be interesting with what Vishkar can do with hard light technology to have a tank based on that, I will admit. Just don’t see him filling the role of that, he doesn’t strike me as someone who wants to get his hands dirty. I will admit, that this is very strictly my opinion and read of his character and by no means is anything to go off of speculation wise.

But, if I’m wrong, then next years first cinematic should definitely be a Symmetra/Lucio one and it should definitely have Symmetra kiCKING HIS ASS FOR MANIPUlATING HER foR GOD KNOWs hOW LONG..ahem.

Do you think a comic will be released soon?

They usually put out comics on Wednesdays but they have been odd this year when it comes to them. Idk, if they’ll announce one at Blizzcon. I kinda doubt it. Personally, I’m hoping for a really kick ass Christmas comic since in Reflections it ended with Winston saying he has a good feeling for “next year” (OW’s next year cause timeline) plus last year’s was cute but underwhelming.

I think that’s all I have to ask/discuss for now? I had ideas keep popping up but I kept going back over what I already wrote and my attention span is all or nothing soooo there goes my ideas into the void.

***Random ass question cause you like RDR2. I keep getting a gamestop ad for it and it’s bugging me cause I can’t make out what this guy is saying. I saw a comic aart thing once and it had young jesse punch Jack in the face and Reyes thought it was the funniest thing and I feel like that’s in character

What if Reyes had a few choices on who to recruit and he was like I want the cowboy chose the instead of the trained older guys. Ana would be like Reyes no and Reyes would be like I want the damn cowboy

I never realised how much I appreciate McCree’s character until the hints of him having a short started popping up. Before I liked him sure, I just never thought too deep into how they could expand on his character. Originally I was just like, “so Reyes picked this kid out of a big ass gang and had him trained among the world’s most renowned soldiers and he still is perfectly content being a cowboy?” Good for you my dudely man, good for you,

wanna see skinny (lean) young McCree but everyone will want the skin but it wont look the same with his in game model so blegh

I agree with you on how you think reyes recruited him, so many people think he just yeeted jesse at a bunch of angry omnics and was like lol have a cowboy
