#this is all just part of my masterful plan to keep dick and donna committed to a platonic fake marriage

Text
Honestly think Dick should have told Donna that he had a fear toxin induced vision that showed them as a married couple just so they could have both busted out laughing and been like, "Ew." Then it could've become an inside joke between them and they'd constantly refer to each other as husband and wife. Except the other Titans would catch on and use the terms as well.
"Have you seen my wife?"
"Nah, haven't seen her, dude."
5 minutes later
"Hey, Donna, your husband's looking for you."

for the writing ask,,
3, 9, 12, 17, 28, 37
3. Is there a trope you wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole?
Anything that involves i*cest. Burn that before it lays eggs.
9. Which fic has been the hardest to write?
Sacrifice. I knew this story will be long and might get complicated, and the farther I went with it the more I was scared I was gonna mess it up, create plotholes, loose the sense of it. I'm not really doing outlines for my writing, I create as I go, but for the ending I really had to sit down and make sure everything fits together. Just to be sure I'm doing it with part 3 as well.
12. Is there an episode above all others that inspires you just a little bit more?
Maybe not the whole episode, but I have few scenes that I keep close to my heart, from few different shows.
From Titans it's the scene between Dick and Rachel in 1x04, in the basement. "You're not on your own. You have me. I'm here." That was the moment I knew I wanted to dive into these characters hearts and minds, especially Dick's, because I needed to know and understand the reasons behind his decision to finally commit. I love writing introspection and focus on thoughts and feelings.
From my all time favorite Supernatural it's anything that has to do with Charlie Bradbury - seeing her was the first time I saw myself in a fictional character. Especially the moment she says "I'm not a witch - I'm a nerd" with such confidence - it inspires me to always be my true self.
There's a lot more scenes I could talk about but I'd be writing this whole night.
17. Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?
Most of the one-shots were written from start to finish, but sometimes an idea comes to me in a form of a single moment that's usually in the middle or at the end of the story so I start with that. Purification was written completely out of order - the first scene I've written for this happens in chapter 7 and the opening of chapter 1 is one of the last scenes written before publication.
28. Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.
@liathgray Cece, darling. They are a phenomenal writer. Reading their work is like a master class in writing. It's a metaphor on metaphor covered with another metaphor, filled with tiny details that seem totally irrelevant until they become a key part of the story, clues put waaaay ahead that blow your mind when you finally figure them out and MISTERY. The way Cece is able to get into a character's mind, break it to pieces to see what's inside and put it back together is unbelievable. The humor is off the charts. The intensity of it all is just mind blowing. And extra points for descriptions of surroundings and visual sensations - it literally transports you into the fic's universe
@nooowestayandgetcaught Val, my dear. Another one I love for the way of drilling into a character's head. I remember finding their HDM fics and being totally in love with the way they were written, I remember crying my eyes out on some of their works. So emotional but also clever and well thought out. I'm always amazed reading their works.
And last but not least @darkambersky Their Titans stories are written in French but even poor google translation didn't stop me from reading it. What blew me away? EMOTIONS weaved into beautiful metaphorical, poetic language. I was crying my eyes out multiple times on every chapter.
37. Talk about your current wips.
I've started planning out part 3 of The White Raven series - "Reignition", the follow up to "Purification" and "Sacrifice" will be the last installment of the trilogy. I'm especially excited for it because I found a way to build my old ideas into it, stuff I couldn't figure out how to turn into compelling stories.
I also have ideas for two episode AU's for Titans - one is mine and one is a request. First one is a re-write of episode 2x03, where there's no chasing after dr. Light and instead Dick is focusing on what he was initially intending to do in this episode - finding out what happened between Jason and Rachel during training. He tried to get some info from Gar, who is a terrible liar in that moment and Dick didn't buy a single thing he said - that's the moment I'm planning to start making changes.
The request is to change the ending of 2x13, where instead of Donna saving Dawn it's Dick who does it and then Rachel brings him back to life.
None of that is written yet but I'm doing a lot of thinking.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
