yo i spent literally all day on this my friends. hope tumblr doesnt fuck the quality. deputy chickie tojo of hope county! two versions, one with light filter + one with heavy filter. she likes to start fights and peg boys and girls. character info under the cut.

About:

Chickie was born to Mexican-born mechanic Adalia Del Olmo and Tokyo native Masaru Tojo in the city of Hakodate on June 10th 1983. Her father abandoned the family in Hokkaido when Chickie was 6 years old, leaving Adalia to be the sole parent despite her lack of fluency in the country’s language.

Chickie has loved and practiced the musical arts since she was young and joined a band as the drummer when she was 15. However, once her mother was diagnosed with lung cancer three years later, they travelled back to Mexico to be with family.

She proceeded to move to America at age 21 and often lived in large cities, trying to pursue a musical career but never gaining enough traction. After an intense falling out with her main friend group, Chickie travelled to Montana to live a more secluded life in hopes of it inspiring more songs.

When she was 32 and freshly moved into a cabin in Hope County, Chickie befriended Sheriff Whitehorse and decided to work in law enforcement as the pay was good and the days seemed lazy. She became a Deputy at 34, and has been one for four months prior to the story.

Chickie is a lazy stoner deadbeat who only cares about getting high and making music. She didn’t even notice the cult because she was too busy smoking and sleeping.

Random Facts Just Because:

Chickie grows her own weed and is working on a personal strain for herself.

Her first language is Japanese, second is Spanish, third is English. She’s fluent in all of them since she started speaking them at a young age.

Her mama has pretty heavy African heritage, making her Afro-Latina.

She’s always fucking broke because she’s only worked minimum wage jobs prior to becoming Deputy. Plus she spends her money on shit she doesn’t need

Chickie has had a nicotine addiction since her early teens & always be smoking, smh. Her teeth are veneers, bc her natural ones are... not great.

i was gonna leave this drawing until later because i like to tweak my art after i’ve had a break from it but i got impatient lmfao

The only dish Chickie is good at is katsu chicken. Everything else.... well, it’s edible. Nothin’ to write home about.

Chickie has two brothers and one sister from her mother’s side (prior marriage), and an undisclosed amount of siblings from her father’s side (he’s a whore)

Her big brother Cedro is a tattoo artist and did roughly 50% of all her ink.

She dropped out of high school when she was 16 because she thought her band was gonna be her big break. It wasn’t.

Chickie is taller than both her parents. Adalia is 5′2″ and Masaru is 5′5″. She got her height from her paternal grandmother who was 6′1″.

She’s a pretty hardcore sadomasochist. Although she leans more sadist, Chickie loves getting into fights, especially with people tougher than her. Her pain tolerance is kinda high.
