Harrowhark Nonagesimus and Gideon Nav have always been at each other’s throats, and the animosity has only intensified since the death of Harrow’s parents. But when a car accident leaves Gideon without any memories of her past, Harrow sees a chance at the clean slate she’s wanted for years. Becoming involved in Gideon’s recovery assuages some of the guilt, but as she and Gideon become closer and increasingly involved in each other's lives, Harrow worries that some of her secrets may be more than she can atone for.

TLT Big Resurrection Event - Rules & Timeline

What is The Locked Tomb Big Resurrection Event?

TLT BRE is an event where authors, artists, and cosplayers come together to create wonderful creations. It starts with authors coming up with the synopses of the fics they will be writing. Cosplayers and Artists will be able to claim a fic they’d like to make art for. Each pair will work together and be able to hype each other up. At the end, they’ll be assigned a posting date where their fic and art will go live. Sign ups will be done via Google Forms and communication after that will take place in the official Discord server (an invite link will be sent after you sign up)

Authors:

Fics are to be a minimum of 10,000 words.

All ratings and topics are allowed, but we request that they be properly tagged in both the synopsis you submit and later on Ao3 when they are posted.

Works must be a part of The Locked Tomb fandom. Settings from other media are allowed, but characters are not.

Fics are to be posted in their completion. Multiple chapters are fine, but they need to be posted at the same time on the date assigned.

Artists: 

The minimum is at least one piece of art made to go along with the fic you claimed.

While color is not necessary, we do require that the art be finished and clean.

Art can be digital, hand-drawn, or hand-painted. Whichever materials you use (when choosing for traditional rather than digital) is completely up to you.

AI art is absolutely prohibited!

Cosplayers:

Cosplays of all levels are welcome, as long as they’re recognizable as the characters.

There should be at least one photo or video.

While cosplayers can claim an E-rated fic, they cannot cosplay anything explicit. This means: No nudity or sexual acts.

Additional rules:

While there is no age limit for participating, anyone under 18 may not write an E-rated work or create art for an E-rated work

Public progress updates or shout outs to your partner are totally allowed! It doesn’t need to be a secret that you’re participating in the TLT BRE, but finished text and art should be saved until your posting date.

We aren’t going to have sign ups for beta readers. If you need a beta reader, the mods may be able to point you in a good direction, but they will not be assigned.

Any harassment or bullying will result in being banned from TLT BRE; they will be removed from the server and their work will not be included in the Ao3 collection or listed on any of our social media accounts.

Timeline:

Sunday, February 26th - Sunday, March 26th: Sign Ups Sunday, February 26th, 9 am EST: Sign ups begin! Sunday, March 26th, 11 pm EST: Sign ups end.

Sunday, April 2nd: TLT BRE Starts! While we encourage writers to begin their plotting or writing before this date, this is the official starting date. Synopses are due for writers today. 

Tuesday, April 4th - Friday, April 7: Viewing During this period, artists and cosplayers have a chance to view the synopses presented before claiming begins.

Saturday, April 8th - Friday, April 14th: Claiming Saturday, April 8th, 9 am EST: Claiming for artists and cosplayers begins! Artists and cosplayers can go through the synopses for fics in our Discord server and claim one during the initial phase. This is first-come, first-serve. There will be additional phases to ensure all fics get an artist or cosplayer.  Tuesday, April 14th, 11 pm EST: Claiming is closed.

Saturday, April 15th: Meet your Partner By this date, authors and artist/cosplayer pairings should have contacted and introduced themselves. If you’re having trouble contacting your partner, please reach out to the mods. 

April 30th : Check in One Check in with pairs to make sure that everything is coming along well with their work. This will be done via the Discord server.

May 28th: Check in Two Check in with pairs to make sure that everything is coming along well with their work. This will be done via the Discord server.

June 25th: Check in Three Check in with pairs to make sure that everything is coming along well with their work. This will be done via the Discord server.

Sunday, July 16th: Completion Date All art/cosplay and fics should be completed by this date.

Wednesday, July 19th: Posting Dates Assigned Pairings will get the dates and times to post their works. 

Sunday, July 23rd - Sunday, August 6th: Post Works All fics and artwork/cosplays will be posted in these two weeks!

Also great to share fic with cosplay partner @trickstercheshi who did a great Alecto cosplay.

So grateful I could participate on that fic (which was my first choice! Blessed). Leo did a great and amazing job with Alecto. If you want to read something beyond Nona and Alecto focused... you might not lose that one. Gosh! So grateful to be in that event!

About the drawings: I was scared by the expectations because I had really big images in my head, and I'm not digital art expert (I'm more kind of traditional artist trying to develop digital) so I take this as a challenge to improve and learn. And I'm pretty proud!

Thank you Leo for such a warm welcome for choosing your fic.
