In the US there are trains only the amount of trains varies wildly from state to state and town to town. For instance, where I live, I can't take a train to school or to another destination within my town/city. I could, however, take a train to a city 3 hours away, or take a train to another state. In the city in my state that's 3 hours away, they do have a citywide tram system, but it looks like trains so they call it a light rail. In places like New York City, Washington DC, or Chicago (all big city areas) they do have trains that people use to get around as transport.

but in most places that aren't big city areas, it's a car, walking, or taking the bus (which in some places is not the most reliable option, if I wanted to take a bus to my university's campus it would take 1 hr 41 minutes. It takes 17 minutes to drive there)

there is hope though as more places are getting trains/trams at the very least in developmental stages :D!!

Do you like taking the train? Or do you have another preferred mode of transport?

Ohh in that case then it's not too different from here ig? Even in India trains are usually for long distance travel between different cities. Ofc this doesn't always apply, like there's the local trains in Mumbai which are veryy widely used in fact they're notorious for being wayy too crowded. There's also metro trains in a few, well, metropolitan cities like delhi, mumbai, kolkata, the metro in my city is still not fully constructed tho so the bus is most common. Still buses here are pretty reliable and at most only take 5-10 mins extra depending on how far you're going.

And yes i do like taking the train! I don't have a particular preference though, I just like traveling anywhere because it's fun to look outside of windows :D tho my favouritism is influenced by how rare a certain mode of transport is. Which is why travelling by metro or a double decker bus (I have only sat in one once in mumbai, I'm not aware of double decker buses being available anywhere else?) definitely holds more novelty!

I have a question.

With this whole spy universe thing, Pathaan has Deepika, that other guy has Katrina, and Hrithik's character has Tiger Shroff's character? And are most of them romantic pairings? Would that be correct?

(I've only seen Besharam Rang, Jhoome Jo Pathaan, and Jai Jai Shivshankar so my understanding is very much through tumblr osmosis and my own imagination)

correct! the Hrithik-Tiger pairing is so obvious at this point that it's technically gay canon all by itself as it should be, but each movie has its own couple—Salman-Katrina is on its third run since Tiger 3 is supposed to be releasing soon, so they're very much an established one, while Hrithik and SRK are the newest additions with their respective partners and personally observed bisexual energy *cough*. highly recommend watching War (2019), currently waiting to watch Pathaan, and i may put myself through both Tiger movies just to have as much context as possible for any future cameos in the series.

australian tv is iconic but kath and kim in particular is loml. kath and kim was the reason my parents let me stay up past 8:30 as a child. we had kath and kim fridge magnets. i used to re-enact entire kath and kim scenes (which looking back was very autistic of me wow). every time i google a store to see if it has a location near me and one of the locations is "fountain gate" i'm like 😏😏😏

(also when i was 10 i entered a contest that involved writing a poem about kath and kim; unlike brett's, mine actually rhymed lmaooo ... i didn't win unfortunately)

HELP i can’t tell if i’m the asshole here so i hooked up w my situationship literally monday, then tuesday she’s saying can’t date me, it’s right person wrong time bc of her problems & she knew that sunday morning but didn’t say anything. idgaf if she doesn’t want to see me anymore but lowkey how dare you already have a foot out the door but get sex out of me before you dip? like i had no expectations other than her wanting me there. so i let her hear it & she’s saying idk wow to my reaction. i told her that was fucked up & that she lowkey took advantage of me. like i gave an enthusiastic consent but only bc i thought she wanted to, it was her idea!! if you don’t want me there literally tell me to go we’re adults. i can’t tell if i was toxic for overreacting—i did bring up the fact that a different girl kissed me saturday & invited me over…if she doesn’t want me, other girls do! i wouldn’t have blown up kn her for not wanting to date at all i said i didn’t care about labels or timelines. i just think it’s wrong that she said she wasn’t her most authentic self when we were together as she put it like damn. i actually tried bc i cared about her & she says the same thing, that she didn’t string me along but how is that not exactly that. please help me i can’t talk to my irl friends a about this i’m too embarrassed. it’s my fault for wanting to uhaul but she was sooo into me until she wasn’t. which is her right obvi but if you’re having that realization tell me BEFORE the sex. ok thanks for letting me rant god bless. this is actually the second blog i’m sending this to but i need all the help i can get ;-;

not sure how much of a story there is, but my local junior acting course/camp/lessons group thing was casting for hairspray and while i Could have been tracy turnblad (<-mildly overweight thirteen year old and developing Crazy brain problems because of my mom's reaction to it) i was Also an alto and not confident in my high notes, which meant i couldn't hit everything in songs like Good Morning Baltimore. so they cast me as corny collins because there weren't enough boys auditioning either.

pixellated the shit out of everyone else to preserve their dignity anyway look at that tiny freak in a horrible ginger bieber wig

anyway my dad was Really Weird about me wearing a suit (we don't have the kind of time i need to unpack that) which made me think "huh if he's so weird about it why am i so NOT weird about it?" and here we are, like ten years later

#the worst part was that due to budgetary restraints bc this is a small company i had to share the suit with a cis boy #who was equally as sweaty as i was. so we were sharing a damp suit over like two weekends. BAD. #ask #toiletpotato #face
