Fun fact, the original Yo-kai Watch anime ran from January 8, 2014 to March 30, 2018 with 214 episodes and a dub that ran from October 5, 2015 to December 29, 2018 with 113 episodes. To give you perspective how long this show lasted it ran along side 4 different Sentais, Toqger, Ninninger, Zyuohger, and Kyuranger, and 4 Rider seasons, Drive, Ghost, and Ex-Aid, and Build if you count the Dub.

Alright I'm gonna break this down 'coz there's a lot

Glad to be know I am not the only one simping on Hiromi ( I mean Junya)

Lmao putting everything under a cut so I don't embarrass people with my gushing and simping

Tbf age-wise he's kinda my only choice? Junya's the only one close to my age (he's about 2 years older than me), while everyone else is way too young for my tastes lol XD

For real, I got super attached to Hiromi over the series. I think the moment I really went "Oh no, I really like him" was that scene of him standing at attention, face completely deadpan... and saying he finds Lovekov adorable. It was just so... unexpectedly cute and endearing.

That's how it always starts- I watch toku, I get attached to a tokuboy, then I start simping for the actor. Some of my mutuals can attest to this, the ones who've been following me since my Sento/Acchan and Shoutaro/Renn simping days XD

Plus, Junya's just a really good actor. He can do both the heavy drama scenes like in Dear Gaga, the off-the-wall-insane comedy scenes like in the Hyper Battle DVD and everything in between. He manages to have great chemistry with anyone he shares a scene in, from his gaga to the secondary Rider to a snake mascot demon. He can make that line of his sound ("I will lay down my life...") completely sincere yet utterly badass.

It's actually surprising how Kamen Rider got someone like him and managed to make him shine in everything they put him in.

This recent slew of episodes with him in the thick of the action actually got me to start writing fic again, after like a half year of being burnt out. And yes, most of that is shipfic (and smutty ones at that), but still. He's the reason I wrote 8.5k in one week.

Also I would die over and over again just to listen to his heavenly voice in the soundtrack. I'm so glad they gave him a solo piece, even if I end up ugly-crying at work listening to Without You.

Well this is gonna get a bit complicated to explain... putting this under a cut

I don't know if you've seen my description on the main blog, but I identify as demisexual. Meaning I don't experience sexual attraction for people unless I first have an emotional attachment to them. It's part of the asexuality spectrum.

Usually, when I do find an actor attractive in that sense it's because I got attached to a character they portrayed. For example, I pretty much openly simp on Ryo Aoki these days, but the only reason I like his stupid face so much is because I got attached to Kento first.

Otherwise, I can appreciate that a certain person has attractive features, but they're not gonna do anything for me. Or, at the least, I can tell that they're conventionally attractive, while not really "getting" what exactly is attractive about them personally.

So, for example, whenever you send me half-naked tokuboys, I know that I'm supposed to think they're hot. But I don't actually think they're hot. Nor do I really get why a six-pack or a thin waist makes them hot.

I'd probably just offer a shirt or towel if someone shows up at my door shirtless lol. If it's Ryo... maybe I'd scream... and then throw a shirt in his pretty face XD

(And unless you can't tell I'm also a massive tsundere lmao)

By the by, I'm also on the aromantic spectrum (demi/grayromantic). I've only fallen in love once and I don't see myself falling for anyone else soon... so yeah ✌️
