Ofer Kalderon, 53. 🎗️

Also in the photo, Erez, 12, his youngest out of 4. Erez and his 3rd child, Sahar, 16, were with Ofer that morning. They tried to run away and hid in a bush, while watching the whole nightmare happen. After 2 hours of hiding in the bush, they were caught, separated and taken to Gaza. Luckily after 52 days, Erez & Sahar were released and are still waiting for their father to return.

The kids’ grandmother, Carmela, and their special needs 13 year old cousin, Noya, were presumed to be with them in captivity, but were declared dead weeks later. Their family finds comfort in the fact that they were together.

just wanted to say thank you for noticing the hostages’ posts and taking the time to like or reblog.

i would like to remind you all that help in posting them would be much appreciated, so everyone can know their names and faces. that’s the only way to make them understand these are the most regular people and ignoring them won’t help any cause. the best thing here, is that they cannot rip their pictures, like they do in real life to quiet down their conscience. they can be assholes and block me or the tags, but they can’t take it off for the rest to see.

Ohad Ben Ami, 55 (54 when taken hostage). 🎗️

Also in the photo, Ella, 23, his daughter, who called the live news on october 7th crying and whispering, so she won’t be heard. she cried and said she just saw her dad’s photo on social media. dragged by his ripped shirt on the streets of gaza barefoot and in his underwear.

Not in the photo, Raz, 57, his wife. He tried to hide her under a blanket before being taken, but she was found and taken, also barefoot, separately from him, minutes after. She returned after surviving 54 days with cancerous tumor and no medicine. Her health has been degrading since (probably for being 54 days with no medical aid).
