she threw up a little but that's okay 🥰 what a joyful and triumphant finale! it's scenes like this that make me wish concerts were actually like that.

#can you imagine if music was real that would rule #I jest. I have not had great concert experiences bc i get bored #and I'm picky about the music I like. except the few I've gone to w my dad and brother #but I just don't have a very emotional connection to most music. certainly not with other people #but here it's different bc I know the players and I'm excited for them #I do think it's a little silly that amina came in at the very end of apparently the last song and played HALF of it with them. and then #the concert was over? we didn't even see them play a full together? #well ig that's what s2 is for #walp lb

Not completely relevant to the 'how would you adapt x' bit but i am very curious as to what you would want from s2 of lady parts vs what you think might happen lmao

thank you for asking! i'm sure that whatever nida manzoor comes up with is going to be GREAT she's so talented <3 That said, I would love to see the girls go on tour as the opening act for a bigger band. I think it would be a great way to introduce new characters, settings, and conflicts, and just expand the music world of the show more! Also, it would be decently realistic to their current level of success--getting some attention, but not yet at headliner status, you know? Thats the direction I would probably go in for season 2 if I was writing it at least

The thing I'm most looking forward to is more music! I was OBSESSED with the band's songs from season 1, the originals and the covers, and I can't wait for more <3 Somewhere i have a playlist/tag where me and some of the other walp fans talked about songs we'd love to have the girls cover--I'll try to link that for you.

more of their internal lives and clockwork as muslims, lil details about their spirituality. sumtimes rep stuff for muslims feels like arguing Against ppl abt what we’re not. but the best thing about WALP is the writing gives intimate details, its fun and warming both. so id like more of that w like things thatd tell me whether any of them are shi’a, or do they make adhan in death metal screams for fun. bisma is already the weird love n light girlie so ik her rituals are #intricate. and ayesha is def in the know since shes a gay muslim punk
