Is this a comeback... This is the Cartoon Network schedule for this week, 8-14th October. It has been a while since I posted. Got myself a new look with a better font and better size hopefully, tell me your thoughts. In the past months shows came and went, I don’t think I have to point out a lot of it, the table speaks for itself. For about a  month now, the weekday and weekend schedules are almost exactly the same - not a huge fan, to be honest. This week, CN is finishing up its 22 episode Gumball spree - after not premiering episodes since December, they pulled out 22 episodes, that started airing in September, all from S06. Quite lovely. We Bare Bears is also getting quite a few episodes, starting this week, with some of the last episodes of S03 they have left out previously. Watch out, MIghty Magiswords will be gone next week - will be replcaed by Craig of the Creek. I think this is it... glad to be back finally. I made this schedule using CNScheduleArchive’s original design, using Excel.

It couldn’t have been him
Ann had her usual I-beat-up-some-men-and-they-were-surprised grin on her lips, as she leaned back in the chair, taking a huge sip og the beer. Ace sat next to her, face on the table. They were in a bar and the reason for Ann’s gri, was right in front of them. A dozen men lied on the floor, soem groaning in pain, others unconscious. They had made the mistake to try and take Ann down, as she had walked towards the table where Ace was asleep.
The owner of the bar had taken out his gun as soon as the men had almost thrown themselves at her, one or two having known she was with the Whitebeard commander. She had proven to the owner of th ebar that he didn’t need to waste his bullets on those for her. It had taken barely five minutes before they were in the pile they were in now.
Ace jolted up, eyes drowsy and he blinked the sleep away. The first sight he was met with, was the men on the floor, some had managed to get onto all four. He turned his head to see the grin on Ann’s face and he rolled his eyes lightly. “This is probably why Haruta said he doesn’t want you on his missions. You cause too much ruckus.” Ace stretched his arms above the head.
“Not my fault. They were over me like hungry wolves. Ask the owner.” Ann shrugged, the grin fadig from her face. “Anyway, I saw some amazing fabrics here and I think Izo will be thrilled if we brought some back. Also got a gift for Thatch. Some spices I know he has been looking for.” She pointed at her back to indicate she’d bought the spices already.
Ace’s eyes went to the owner, who seemed to be waiting for the men to get up, so he could kick them out. “You think they’ll owe us one then?” Ace eyed her. Ann often bought or stole things for the family, but rarely for herself. She even rarely asked for favors or stuff, so Ace was confused to why she spoiled their family like that.
She chuckled and looked at him. “I don’t need that to get what I want. Observing Izo back then gave me all the skills I need to get it my way. Nah, this is just me being kind and keep them happy. After all, they are family...” She trailed off a little. Even if it had been almost a year since they accepted to be part of the Whitebeard Pirates, it still felt somewhat odd to call them family.
Ace nodded, knowing where her thoughts were going. “So about our mission?” He looked at her and she gave another shrug. “I’ve done what Haruta told me to, but no one has approached me. You got any luck?” she kne whe probably hadn’t due to him being asleep when she entered the bar and the sheepish grin on his face confirmed it to her. What a pair they were.
“However, it’s not all over yet. Someone has been following me and they’re darn good.” Ann’s eyes drifted around and fixed at a corner table with shadows. There were two people there, maybe three. Ace’s eyes followed her gaze and nodded. Still, neither he or Ann made another move, as it was up to their observers to make it.
The men on the floor managed to scramble away after 10 more minutes. Ace smirked lightly, seeing how the humped their way out. Served them right to ump on his sister and he cursed himself for having falling asleep and missed the show. It was probably why they had attacked her in the first place. Sothe infamous Fire Fist Ace wouldn’t interfere. Maybe they wanted to use her to get him too?
“You’re rather observant, Miss.” Ace was borught out of his thoughts, as a young woman - not much older than him and Ann - sat at their table. Ann had changed her position, Ace knew his sister was ready to fight withing a heartbeat. He was stillsitting relaxed, though he too would be able to fight within a second.
Ann had a neutral face as she spoke. “Comes with my profession. So what is it you want from Oyaji and why asking for me and my brother specifically?” She tried to sound casual and as if it didn’t really matter why them, but all were dying to knoow why them and not Marco or one of the older commanders.
“We simply want permission to sail through his territory, trade with people on islands under his protection. It’ll be easier and faster for us.” The young woman answered, ignring the second question. Ann eyed Ace for a second. It was actually him who should speak for the captain, but the freckled male just gave her a small nod, silently telling that she should go on and he had her back.
Ann eyed the two other at the table the woman had come from. So it had been three and not two as first assumed. Then her eyes went back to the woman. “I’ll have to talk with Oyaji about it. For what reason do you wish to do so, besides it being more convenient for you?” Ann didn’t believe it was the only reason and her captan would need a better one before even consider to give the request a thought.
The woman eyed Ace, who sat with an unreadable face. Her eyes went back to Ann, a slight surprise was in them. “I thought it would be your commander who would do the talking.” Ann shrugged. “My brother is better with his fists than with words. Must be a brain damage.”
“OI!” Ace pouted offended, but both the woman and Ann giggled at that.It lightened the mood. “I’m Koala by the way. The men over there are Hack and Sabo.” Koala was looking at the two men, so she didn’t noticed that both Ann and Ace tensed at the name Sabo and their head snapped towards the two in the shadows for a brief moment. Then it was gone, though there was a small part of them on guard now.
“Good to know.” Ann nodded. “Now about my questions?” Her eyes and face was back to the calm and diplomatic one that Marco had taught her to use. Koala nodded and lowered her voice a little. “We have allies close to Whitebeard’s territory, as you might know. It would be far easier for us to come to their aid and them to ours, if we could be sure it’ll be safe to cross the seas in your captain’s territory.”
It was very reasonable, but still not enough. Ace gave Ann a gaze, wondering if she really could get the information they needed. Normally it was Haruta or Rakuyo who dealt with things like this. However, Ann was always in for a surprise, just as you thought you’d figured her out.
“I see, however I doubt Oyaji would accept that. What do he get if he was to make a deal with you and why not go through the territory of Red Hair? It’s just as close as Oyaji’s.” Ann was now staring into the eyes of Koala, who didn’t back down or flinched, which Ace had to admit was impressive. “Besides, you never answered to why you asked for Ace and I.”
Silence fell over them. It became a staring contest between them, one that Ace would win. After all, it was the Revolutionaries who wanted something from them and not the other way around. After a few more moments, Koala sighed. “Fine. First, we can offer weapons, supplies and manpower. Not all wants to be revolutionaries, but seek out a family on the sea. Second, Red Hair’s territory is plausible and one we’ll seek out, if your captain doesn’t accept. Third, I can’t give a clear answer. Our chief of Staff, Sabo, just wanted to see you for some reason even he doesn’t know of.” Koala shrugged at the last part.
Ann eyed Ace for s short moment, before talking to Koala again. “We’ll deliver your request to Oyaji. We can’t promise anything though. It’s not our place to.” Her tone was indicating that the conversation was over. “Thanks.” Koala gave them a nod and went over to Sabo and Hack. The two men rose and both Ann and Ace caught a glmipse of them.
A young man arund their age with blond hair and dressed like a noble and a Fishman. Ann and Ace stared at the blond and then at each other. “Ace it couldn’t have been him. Right?” Ann’s voice cracked a little. Ace’s balled his fists, flames dancing in his hands. “No! It wans’t him. He’s dead. It’s just a coincidence. Come let’s get back home.” Ace stood and walked out. Ann followed him, her eyes scanning around, but she didn’t see the three again. If only she could have a better look at the blond. Not that she actually believed it was him, Sabo wouldn’t have stayed in the back like that and furthermore, their Saboo would have long ago made contact with them, if he had survived.
Still, there was this nagging hope that blossomed in her chest. What if it had been their Sabo, though he just didn’t remember them?
