Dcst OC time because why not? Also, her design is inspired by the IRL snake Bothrops cotiara usually found in southern Brazil. :)

(some basic lore below!)

Cotiara is a herpetologist who got petrified alongside the entire world in 2019 while she was visiting the US, waking up only 3700 years later.

She managed to wake up after keeping brain activite for all those years. She was later on found by the other americans, and eventually joined Xeno's group.

After being brought to the American Colony, Xeno was somewhat intrigued to meet a person who was able to wake up without even hearing commander Stanley Snyder's order to not let their minds fade, since she wasn't even close to where the classified meeting took place.

After some time, she developed a "something more" relationship with Stanley, inbetween romantic and platonic, their third thing yk. But that's kept as a secret and she acts very respectful of him around others just like everyone else. She also became besties with Charlotte Bony at some point.

Cotiara is always doing her own little thing, most of the times loitering around the forest looking for snakes to keep as her pets (wich she has many) or trees to climb so she can sleep sleep under the shade of the branches. She dislikes being told what to do, howhever, she is quick to help anyone whenever she feels like doing so or when properly asked. She has beef with Gen.

+ she doesn’t have a tail that's just part of her skirt, she just asked Xeno to make it look like a tail because that would be cool
