A lady helped me out with all the queries and procedure. For the first time I felt relieved to be in the right place and right away… yes right away I signed a cheque and booked an apartment in Gulberg Heights. The Roman architecture and amazing features and facilities that this place is offering was worth relying. So now I own my property and I surely believe that where there is a will there is a way! My New Year Resolution

New Year Resolution: Enough of struggles… now it’s time to do more with my life! This is what I said to myself in the beginning of 2019 and changed my perspective about life. Life as we all know tests us in every way but it’s us who decide whether to become a victim of it or have control over it by learning from our mistakes and experiences… We can surely make it better by becoming stronger, by expecting less and giving more, by focusing on our dear ones rather than those who hurt us and most of us by analyzing what we want from life and how to get it! Of course it isn’t as easy as it sounds and not a work of day or two.

With time I realized that though we are always trying to comprehend everything around us, the most difficult thing to understand is what lies within us. Literally sometimes it takes years to figure out something as little as what is best for us and what isn’t. If I sound silly just try convincing yourself to do something against your will… My time for the last 4 years didn’t seem to be in my favor . But I simply accepted my fate till I couldn’t bear more, as not just my personal and professional life but also the lives attached to me were getting unbearably affected. I for once realized the cost of shattering my confidence and blaming myself.

No one was going to offer me solutions… I had to be my own master. I started off by taking care of myself, making my faith in Allah stronger . Also in any type of  circumstance I didn’t let anything get me down. All this seemed impossible initially, but today I am where I am because of this. My relationships got better and I showed good progress at work. Along with work I started a new online business of mobile accessories in collaboration with my cosine. In just one year I have earned enough to make an investment. For 2020 I can proudly say that this year I will start a new better life at my favorite place in Islamabad, The Gulberg Islamabad.

I have already booked a plots in Gulberg Residencia and now I can’t wait to see my home being built where I will have everything I wish for, a place rather than a house will be my home. I will finally be able to make my family happy with this beautiful gift. As no doubt there is no place like Gulberg Islamabad.

In the serene and green Gulberg Residencia, is my beautiful home which means the world to me. And in that 7 marla home is my small lawn which is undoubtedly my favorite spot, my peace place. I can spend hours in my garden without getting bored since it makes me come alive from inside and I just love that feeling.

My mother, my favorite person is another person who loves this spot equally. Gardening is her hobby and more than me she the one who takes good care of this garden. My garden may be tiny, but its is filled with numerous colors of nature. Here you will see a huge and unique variety of flowers, fruits and vegetables. Roses are my all time fave. The feeling is indescribable when you see the buds blooming, vegetable growing and new leaves sprouting… its like a new beginning of joy, hope and success. Plants are not just growing stem, they have a life. I often talk to them, while I water them, i pour my love and and when i hoe the soil, i know this care I put in them will in return bring more freshness to my life. Usually my day starts in my garden. It is a positive way to begin a day with the peace of mind. I practice deep breathing for around 20 minutes and then look at all the plants that I have.

I love spending the evening hours in my garden if I have time. Best are the days when my friends come over for evening tea. We chat and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us. My pretty little garden is surely an integral part of my life. This place vanishes all the negativeness and makes me happy in seconds.

Isn’t it hell of a confusion to decide which society is the best! These days too many new residence societies are emerging and everyone claims to be the best.

My Encounter with a Real Estate Agent

Today, thanks to the education and awareness, women believe there is nothing on earth they can’t do, well… try dealing with an ignorant person without him staring at you top to bottom, as if you are sitting naked just for his entertainment.

Seems relatable doesn’t it? That’s not it, my encounter with the goof I’m referring to kept getting more and more interesting. He was none other but a real estate agent. My colleague told me about good investment opportunities at societies near new airport so I took some time off to visit a real estate office for a better understanding.

I entered a small office with few people all in white kameez shalwar, which till this day I don’t get why they only where white… is it their dress code? Or do they try to portray decency through their look. Well if so it didn’t really work on me. Instead of gaining interest all I wanted was to get away from the creepy looks.  I asked him straight about the rates and the best offers they had within the budget I had. And after this long question he asked … “Madam Ji, what would you like to have chai or thunda (cold drink)” ? Confused I simply said, “NO, I don’t have time, please come straight to the point”… “Madam, how can we let our guest go unserved? Please feel comfortable.

So I ended up with a glass of juice which turned out to be much needed to clear my throat. Every time I asked a questioned, his eyes became wider and he bent towards me more… I thought he was going to sit on the table on some point. Well long story short, I changed my mind, received a fake call and escaped. It was till few months back when I went to the sales office of Gulberg Islamabad where I realized that decent dealing is possible in this profession.

I went with my colleague expecting disaster but she came out satisfied with all her quires answered. Now I too have made up my mind to invest only in Gulberg Green Islamabad because it’s not just serene and green, it has the best offers according to your requirements.

Indeed, it was one of the best decisions of my life… we can’t regret the fact that our environment has a great influence on us. In other words, if we can’t adjust in our surrounding, nothing else can make us happy, neither money nor luxury. On the other hand, peace of mind in this fast moving era is not that easy to find. Cities are getting more and more crowded and so when I was capable of making an investment, all I could think was… PEACE! My residence  was living in central area of Rawalpindi.

Of course his response surprised me with a proposal not just for a living opportunity, but it offered an exceptional lifestyle, beyond my expectations at Gulberg Green Residencia. Though I could only afford a 5 marla plot, it was more than enough for me and my family. I thought it was the best gift I could give to my family and so it was.

When I brought my wife my kids and my parents to show them my plot, my wife was in tears of happiness and my mother couldn’t be more proud of me. Momobage Interview: Questions for a games enthusiast

I still consider myself a relative beginner in the mobile game world since I haven’t explored many different genres yet. However, while the games and the developing companies are important, each gaming fandom and community make the playing experiences more enjoyable. Personally, meeting and becoming close with people can be difficult in real life. But, the people I have met and befriended because of mobile games have a strong understanding and connection for the game and its fans. So, I contacted Michelle from kurumiya on Tumblr. Michelle is 25 years old and lives in Scotland. She is a video game enthusiast and enjoys Japanese media such as games and TV shows. She also provides help and some translations for various Japanese mobile games through her Tumblr. I could tell she was such a nice and helpful person who really cared about the games she played and others in the gaming community.

Currently, what are your favourite mobile games to play? Why?

My current favourite games are Love Live, Kirameki Note and Smash Tap.

Love Live! School Idol Festival (ラブライブ！スクールアイドルフェスティバル) is a mobile game developed by KLab and Bushiroad which combines a rhythm tapping game and a card collecting game into one. It was also the very first rhythm game I played so it's just something that has always stuck with me.

Boyfriend (Beta) Kirameki Note (ボーイフレンド (仮) きらめきノート) is a mobile game published by Ameba Games and has become one of my favourite rhythm games that I've tried playing so far. Even though I knew nothing about the characters when I first began, the game was very easy to get into and events aren't too challenging for a free player.

My Hero Academia: Smash Tap (僕のヒーローアカデミア スマッシュタップ) is a mobile game developed by Bandai Namco. It’s a new game that I'm currently going through the "I love this game!" phase. Although it’s a simple tap to attack game and needs a bit of patience to play, it’s something that everyone can play for free without needing to pay for in-game purchases.

When and why did you start playing mobile games?

I started playing mobiles games about 3 years ago since they're easily accessible and many of them are free. It’s beneficial since you don’t lose any money if you end up not enjoying the game or get bored of it. I also usually play games that align with my interests, which is why I really like Smash Tap and another game called Fairy Tail Goku Mahou Ranbu (フェアリーテイル 極・魔法乱舞) since they are based off the original anime and manga.

What is your favourite part about mobile games? Story, characters, mechanics, etc.

The mechanics of a game definitely makes a game hit or miss for me since it is essentially what will keep me hooked on a game. My other favourite thing about mobile games is the luck element many of them have like gachas. [I commented, “YOU LIKE GACHAS?! You must have really good luck!” since my experience with them is usually bad]. The reasons I love gachas so much is because I kind of like the gambling element to it. You're using all your saved up in-game currency for new characters or items so it’s really exciting to see what you're going to get! Although there is no guarantee of winning something favourable, there is always hope in the next try. It's the same feeling when you say "One more time!" while playing a UFO catchers’/claw cranes and such.

Do you feel a stronger connection between you and some characters that you may not normally feel in other games you have played?

Not particularly. I don't think mobile games are as immersive as perhaps console or pc games because they are often limited in what you can do. Often the amount of time you can play for in one sitting is only fifteen to thirty minutes before you run out of stamina.

How do you react to criticism? Usually there are negative comments online on how a game functions or is not being fair, etc.

I don't really pay attention to criticisms or reviews of mobile games. As a more mature player, as long as I find it fun for myself then that's good enough. I also don't see mobile games as a long term commitment either. If something isn't functioning right or the game is failing to make improvements then it's too easy to just delete it and find something else. Eventually you forget about it and move on. In that way I think mobile games are very disposable.

Are there any games you stopped playing? If so why?

There's too many games for me to really mention that I've stopped playing, but some games I have stopped playing recently were A3!, Band Yarouze, and BanG Dream! The main reason I often stop playing a game is because as a free player you often reach a cap that you can't really surpass without paying money. For some other games, the game starts to focus on multiplayer functions too much, which again, relies more on how much money you spend on the game rather than your own persistence.

If a game doesn’t already have one, would you want to see developers create an animated series, real life mini drama, or character sung songs?

I think it really depends on the franchise and type of game, but I think there is definitely the option to branch out into different medias such as character songs and animated series for some games. Voiced characters and a good storyline are definitely needed beforehand though.

Since smartphones are so important in our everyday life, do you think that creates even more potential for mobile games, or does it defeat their purpose since it is so common?

With smartphones being almost a necessity these days and internet becoming more accessible, I think it definitely leaves room for improvement in the mobile gaming industry since it allows for more competition; which is good in terms of gaming quality. It's also a good industry for new developers, aspiring writers and artists etc. and allows for growth and new ideas which can only lead to newer and better games.

With the development of virtual reality, do you think future mobile games will try to incorporate it? Do you think it’ll be successful?

I think there is definitely a market for VR mobile games, but it will still take some time to produce something considered "good". I think as technology continues to improve, it will eventually be successful. But for now, I think we're still quite far away from making a "good" VR mobile game.

What kind of mobile games do you wish to see next? Are there any mobile games you anticipate for? Whether in the making or already released.

I personally hope to see some more RPG open world type of mobile games as I still haven't found one with the kind of feature I'd like to see or with a decent game progression rate. As for games that I'm anticipating, I'm highly excited for the B-Project: Muteki*Dangerous (B-PROJECT～無敵＊デンジャラス～) game (photo below).

If you could create any mobile game, no limitations, what kind of game would it be?

For me I would like to create a dungeon crawling/quest RPG sort of game with lots of character customisation like MapleStory, World of Warcraft and other MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games). With customisation, it would make mobile games, especially dating/visual novel ones, even more emotional and personal. These types of games also have no limit on how long you can play you can play for hours at a time rather than perhaps 30 minutes.

If you could recommend one game to other beginner mobile game players, which one would it

I would recommend that people play Love Live as it's a popular game with a large community in both Japanese and English. So, there are multiple beginner tutorials, walkthroughs and other people to ask questions and talk to about the game.

As mentioned in the beginning, the gaming community is very helpful, especially for mobile game beginners. By conducting this interview, I understand how Michelle and I’s gaming experiences may be different based on the games we played. However, we can still bond over similar aspects in games or fan over characters we like with ease. These kinds of relationships with other players are what make mobile games so fun and special. Yes, all of these situations are examples of hustling, but … hard-working people are hustlers, too. Hustling, depending on your means and motivation, isn’t always a bad thing.

Your Startup Needs a Hustler

In fact, in terms of your startup’s success, I want you to think of hustling as a great thing. Think of athletes sacrificing their bodies to make the tough play or putting in endless hours at the gym to improve their game.

Hustlers go all out every day, pushing past their breaking point. Even when they are exhausted, hustlers never quit doing the hard work, putting in the long hours others won’t. Hustlers always work to better themselves, and the hustle is what separates the champions from the losers.

Hustling is an art form

It’s earning or making something from seemingly nothing by maintaining the mindset of a go-getter. While hustling gets a bad rap from the criminal acts it’s often associated with, it’s not a crime. Hustlers don’t wait for success to come to them; they go out and get it for themselves.

In entrepreneurship, hustling means doing whatever it takes, legally, for your startup to be successful. If you’re not sure how to start honing your hustler status, start by following these ten practices.

1. Never Lean Back

A hustler always pursues progress and constantly works to get things done. One way to learn to become better than you currently are is by setting bold goals. Set goals that are uncertain and a little scary. An uncertain goal might not work out, but working toward something that is not a foregone conclusion is all part of the hustle. Setting an audacious goal and doing everything you can to make sure it gets reached is a sign of a true hustler.

By never leaning back, you aren’t tempted to halt your pursuit of perfection. It’s not so much about feeling like you never have enough as it is about working to improve yourself and your startup everyday.

2. Promote Yourself

Self-promotion is a necessary part of being a hustler. There is a balance to find in this hustle between complete humbleness and being a jerk in self-promotion. While you don’t need to plaster your social media and blog with personal accolades, you do need to be dedicated to promoting your startup by telling people what you are up to.

You’ll want to show confidence in your startup’s successes. It’s hard to hustle in something you don’t believe in, so don’t be afraid of self-promoting and showing your belief in yourself and your startup.

4. Don’t Fear The Critics

Putting yourself out there is a risk. Be ready for haters and don’t let them slow you down. One characteristic of hustlers is their ability to brush off criticism and rejection without getting embarrassed or upset. In fact, you need to be completely indifferent to the haters.

As a hustler, you have to answer even negative emails, respond to harsh critics, and make sales pitches to investors who seem less than interested. It’s all part of doing everything you can to make your startup work. No matter what you do, you’re going to have to deal with critics, but if you want your startup to be successful, you have to ignore the haters.

While you might find it easy to ignore the critics when they are practically strangers, sometimes the critiques come from the people we love and trust like our family and friends. They may not understand why you are doing what you’re doing, and they may not share your vision — and they don’t have to. However, this can be a difficult situation, since you likely care about what they think of you, and you may even find yourself giving in to their point of view. As hard as it is, you have to move past them as well.

Hustlers are able to ignore negative feedback, bad advice, and even criticism from loved ones. As a hustler, you should be so busy doing the work it takes to be successful that you don’t have time to be worried about how other people, both strangers and family, view you.

5. Make Connections

The saying “It’s all about who you know,” holds a lot of truth in relation to startups. As a hustler, you need to make connections with many people in many industries to get your startup out there and help ensure its success. By nature, hustlers tend to be very social, which is beneficial to the business aspect of your startup.

While you can use your connections to sell your product or service, don’t forget that some give needs to accompany the take. Use your connections as your go-to source for buying what you need for your startup, and the symbiotic relationships will benefit everyone involved.

As an entrepreneur, you can’t be the type of hustler that just shakes people down for what you need. Understand how to treat people well, be genuine in your relationships, and treat your connections fairly.

6. Take What You Need

If you can’t get what you need, you might be forced to take it. That’s essentially the main characteristic of a hustler: going out and getting what they need. However, in the startup world, it’s going to be a little more difficult than just grabbing and going. It will likely take a lot of hard work. You might need to ask friends and family for help or even make cold calls.

7. Show What You’ve Got

People should know what you’re capable of and fear your potential, but do it in a way that keeps you approachable. Be aware of the situation and know when is the right time to use your killer instinct.

8. Carry Yourself with Confidence

Yes, the fact that you are working for the success of a startup means you probably haven’t been in the game for long. However, you should carry yourself like you’ve been at it for years. Showing confidence is especially important for making good first impressions. Carry yourself well and dress to impress to let people know you are ready to hustle.

Even if you know you might not be the best man for the job, others don’t need to know it as well. Conduct yourself with confidence without being overly cocky. As a hustler, you need to be confident in dealing with others, and you will likely have to take charge of the situation to make sure things get done.

Don’t be afraid to be the Alpha and control the outcomes of certain situations and meetings.

9. Hone Your Street Smarts

You may have been a star student, but out in the real world, you need more than book smarts. As a hustler, you need to have street smarts as well. Trying to run a successful startup means you’re going to be faced with many unexpected situations and challenges.

Many of these situations will require quick decisions and reactions to keep your startup successful. You will begin to have quicker reactions — which rely heavily on street smarts. By taking the time and the challenge to hone those skills, you will be much better at reacting to those unscripted moments — which is another mark of a great hustler.

10. Never Make Excuses

If you want to be a great hustler, you are not going to be able to let off the gas; you will have to outwork everyone else. A successful startup requires much more than a nine to five schedule. Prepare to burn the midnight oil in order to see your startup be successful.

We mentioned at the start that talent and luck are typically out of your control. However, you might find that as you work harder and hustle more, your luck starts to improve, and you learn to work smarter.

Even if you become a great hustler, you’re not guaranteed to be faced with failure. If you do fail, take responsibility for it. You are hustling for one purpose, and that purpose is to have a successful startup. Failure should not be an option and you definitely shouldn’t make any excuses for your failure.
