I like to imagine Mobei about the au with og!qinghua and qing-two-a (badum tss) is just the "Holy shit two cakes" thing. This is his snake qinghua and this is his rat qinghua. They're both nasty little things but one of them is venomous so you have to be careful with that one. Either way, he has two of them and you will not separate him from them.

What made you ship it? One night I sat awake rotating sqq in my head like a rotisserie chicken and thought, what if these two had an awful parasocial relationship prior to the events of Scum Villain. What if they somehow met in the modern world. What if cucumber-bro got to daily antagonize his favorite least favorite author in person. What if they roleplayed Mobing together. What if Shen Yuan payed Airplane's bills. What if they made each other more deranged. This ship has given me brainrot for years.

What are your favorite things about the ship? The ship name. The way it sounds dirty but also like "complain." The way they are two of the most important support beams in the trifold architecture of Scum Villain's main theme: the relationship between an author, his audience, and the story itself. The way a fan can take a sellout story and birth it anew in a way that makes the og creator reconnect with what he loved about creating in the first place. They literally need each other. They are soulmates in the way only an author and his biggest anti-fan who get reborn into the same story that gave them both fungus of the brain can be. Also they do plotting and scheming together and constantly irritate each other. What's not to love.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? Idk if it's unpopular, but I fully believe that in any iteration of this ship, they would leave each other in two seconds flat for Luo Binghe and Mobei-jun, if given the option. Like, the choice would probably be a tad harder for Shang Qinghua, but he'd respect the hustle. Imo these two are soulmates, but they aren't even each others 5th option for life partner. respectfully.
