The community definitely has an issue of being fatphobic (drawing Kristin thinner than she is) and equalising being thing with pretty. (Pretty recently Ranboo even got a weird dono about telling George to eat less, because "he lost his pretty privilege", I think).

But even then, I think the other anon was pretty close to it, as to why Michael didn't have the same boost as others, with the fact he didn't stream at a time that he could collab with that many different people and actually reach out, while Phil already had his established core fanbase that knew and like him from the SBI.

Foolish had the plus of being conventionally attractive and also streamed at a much more accessible time, befriending quite a few people and being there. He's also very easy to enjoy the content of, while Michael has a more specifc sense of humour that's harder to get into, I feel like. (Especially for this community.)
