Kisses? He can do kisses. Sado reaches down, scooping Tesla into his arms and lifting him so that they’re eye to eye. Leaning in, he presses a soft kiss to his cheek, another closer to his lips. And then another, still just barely brushing the corner of his lips before leaning down to place him on his feet once again. “If you liked that, I’m happy to offer more.”

Strong arms wrap around him and lift him up; he didn't think the other man had much height on him, but alas, the near 8 inch difference was enough to keep Tesla's feet off the ground. Staring wide eyed, he thinks this is the closest he's ever been to Chad, ever, feeling his own undead heart pound in his chest by the bold gesture of the other.

He almost forgot about his needy little quip, Chad's soft lips pecking his cheek, making him flush just at the heat of his skin, of course he was warmer, even though Tesla himself ran reasonably hot; Chad was alive... The human offers gentle, almost teasing kisses near his lips, pressed just on the corner of his mouth and driving Tesla wild. He remembers to breathe once his boots are flat on the ground.

"O-oh...! I, uh...oh Lords...ahem. Um...that was...nice, yes, thank you."

                Truth be told, Rangiku couldn't remember the last time someone had come to her seeking relationship advice. So many of her fellow Shinigami now questioned every decision she made ------ a direct result of Gin surviving the war, and her living situation with him while he had been on house arrest. Though Rangiku had found the strength to forgive Gin for his actions before and during the Winter War, there weren't many others eager to align themselves with her.

                Needless to say, Rangiku's eyes lit up when Sado approached her, seeking relationship advice. A smile splayed across her lips as she reached for him, grabbing his hands and holding them before offering a gentle, reassuring squeeze.

                ❝ Sado-kun!! Oooh, this is all so EXCITING~! How long have you had feelings for him? Does he know?? Ah, gomen, gomen!! I'm getting carried away, here... ❞

No words have passed between the two of them for the past forty seconds. Twin monoliths, immovable even as the crowd passes around them, like a stream passing around two boulders in a river. The people can’t see Kenpachi, but his presence causes them to unconsciously avoid him, a quickening of the heart accompanying chills up the spine as they draw close.

Wind dances about them, the trail of spiky black hair rising in the breeze, the loose fabric of his Captain’s robe shifting as the man beneath does not budge. Finally, his mouth opens, the low, rumbling voice of an ill omen rising above the hum of the crowd...

Such words were not the easiest to live by as many known individuals had found out while reaching for their unattainable dreams in their times of naivety. Life was harsh, life was unfair and it did not stop to consider the feelings of those it mistreated. Sometimes it only presented you with opportunities and possible futures to simply steal them away moments later, no matter how much effort and resistance one displayed. No amount of trying would fix things that life had decided to trample on – that much the stoic captain had learned during the years. Yet he did appreciate the determination shown here.

”That much is expected. Even a fawn must stand up and run before it has had the time to learn all about it’s surroundings; otherwise it will be left behind and eaten”, the descriptive words were delivered in the very same monotonous tone as was expected, but it had been meant to be seen as an encouragement; maybe even a warning. This fawn had potential to grow into an old and powerful deer with a magnificent crown of antlers adoring it’s head, but potential was nothing if it was not lived up to and nourished. Growing beside someone who was rapidly bursting forward, like Ichigo Kurosaki, was surely as much of an advantage as it was a disadvantage... Would the speed be too much for someone like Yasutora Sado? Would he stumble and fall just to get left behind and consumed? That was a very real threat for the man to face.

”Do not falter, do not let yourself fall behind. That is all you must strive for.”
