I super hate it when people, especially trans women, see a femboy and call him "she" and say he's a trans women/egg

Since Danny is a half-ghost and trans in your fic, and ghosts in Bitter can canonically change their appearance, and their appearance is based on how they see themselves, does that mean that Danny as Phantom is a guy? Like, actually, physically a guy. And if he isn't, can he shapeshift into one? Can it translate into his human half?

Also, will we ever see Danielle in Bitter? I really like her and I feel that so many people always gloss over the fact that a basically infant but somehow 12-year-old halfa clone is doing whatever the f*** all across the world. I really like the idea of her meeting ghost Jack and her not knowing who he is, but Jack thinks she's a younger Danny somehow. Since, yk, Danny is trans. But does Dani know Danny is trans? Does Vlad know? Heck, how does Danny feel seeing a younger female version of himself? The angst potential there is enormous. What does it do for his gender dysphoria? Tbh, I got so many questions cuz of my auDHistic self. You don't gotta answer them all.

yes! Danny in Phantom form has a physically male body! this would be the case with any trans ghost, and a genderfluid ghost's body would fluctuate, I don't know if I'll have the opportunity to talk about it in Bitter but it's a headcanon I've had for a long time

I have an idea for how to fit Elle into the story, but I haven't quite fully fleshed it out yet

also Vlad 100% knows Danny is trans, he kinda has to know considering the whole cloning debacle, he just doesn't really care tho

Danielle probably doesn't know what being trans is, but she probably also has no preconceived notions about gender and sexuality at all, she gets the gist that boys and girls are a thing and they usually dress in certain ways, but she doesn't think it's unusual if someone bucks that trend, she's still learning about how the world works and hasn't got any ingrained bigotry

I don't want to go too deeply into how Danny feels about Elle in regards to her triggering his gender dysphoria, but that is a hell of an interesting question that deserves a fic all on its own, I just don't think I'm the right person to write it, I keep that sort of stuff fairly brief since I am not trans and don't have any of those personal experiences to draw from, I try to be very careful and respectful in the way I write about it and I don't want to overstep
