Your World of Text Party - Week 1

After last night's adventure, I've decided to make YWoT page parties a monthly thing, coinciding with fr festival weeks! After the week is up, the pages will be archived (editing will be disabled, but people will always be able to go back and look at the page.)

Imagine YWoT to be a completely anonymous, real-time public forum, except the admin lets you paste ASCII art and the lyrics to Never Gonna Give You Up. Sound terrible? Great! That's exactly the level of chaos I'm striving for here.

And you should totally join in.

Some things you can do on my funny little page: say fuck, leave little messages for people, complain about flight rising, discuss forbidden dragon lore, spread video game propaganda (yes, like telling people to play puyo puyo), make ASCII art, and really, talk about pretty much anything.

There are some rules though, you'll see 'em after you enter the site.

Also, since the page will be open for a week this time, we're gonna have a publicly editable directory at the start of the page, so people can jump to and from conversations easily. See how to use coordinates here.

also: my plan is that I'll disable writing sometime tomorrow/archive the page because I want people to still be able to see it but there is just SO MUCH text that continuing to write on it will become impossible. and after that I'll start a new page at some point. this was honestly really fun and I'd love to make it a semi-frequent thing!

good morning tunglr (looks at time) or uh, noon.

the page from yesterday has officially been archived! only I can edit it now (that's why it's blue now also. that's the color I set for owner only areas) I added 2 coordinate links so it's easy to jump from start to finish.

My current plan is to create a new page every festival week (which would be today at 6 am server time... I forgot starfall was today) and start utilizing coordinate links so people can easily jump to and from conversations, but we'll see how that works out.

EDIT: also, you can find new public worlds by adding any letters you want to the end of the url https://www.yourworldoftext.com/. Yes there is a page called Gay.
