I never know how far is okay to take a bit. I never know how serious I can flirt with people. I never know if I'm going to make someone uncomfortable. It seems like every time I'm a little more forward and risky I make someone uncomfy and every time I'm afraid to talk to someone they were secretly cool with it or genuinely into me the whole time. I can't win and invariably end up upsetting people, either because I make them uncomfortable or don't give them the attention that they want. I can't even clarify intentions because half the time I'm made fun of for it and it pretty much always sounds like I'm an incel negotiating my way into getting my dick wet.
