Ahiga had found that balance was key to keep sane in his line of work. He always returned to nature after a job, finding back to his roots. Sometimes he’d get lost for weeks, roaming the lands where his ancestors had lived and died, their voices still whispering of the things lost and gained.

The last job had cost him more than he’d first thought, leaving him to retreat far away from anything resembling pack or civilization. His thoughts had finally started to slow down, something close to peace settling over him. The night would have probably been a perfect one if someone hadn’t decided to ruin it, the wolf cursing at the sound of the vampire’s voice. He knew he should have tried harder to kill him.

How in the hells had the thing even found him? He’d been warded until he was far into the wilderness “I think we both know who is out of his element here. These lands belong to the wolves” he bared his teeth “if you don’t want to get burned I suggest you avoid annoying me.”  He brushed past the creature to head up the hill “I know you find me irresistible, but coming out here was a poor idea.”

Santiago peered down at the mortal as the man stated that the lands he was on belonged to the wolves. "Does it? I come here all the time, never seen nor caught a wiff of a wolf before you..." he stated simply, moving back to lean against the tree with a small smirk. "You're the one that's being annoying right now, if I must be completely honest..." He closed his eyes, smiling a bit as a breeze ruffled through the treetops.

"You think I was following you? I was here first, how do I know that it's not you who is stalking me?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "Coming back to finish the job that you botched the first time around. Letting a vampire wander around who knows your secret can't be good for your kind can it?" he askd with a smirk, finally opening his eyes again to look over at Ahiga. "Though I have to admit, you are fairly good looking... I wouldn't mind spending more time with you - provided you don't try to set me on fire again..."

He moved closer to the wolf once more, a slight swagger to his step, eyes roaming over the wolf in front of him. "Irresistable, I could resist... but I choose not to. So does that make you irresistable? I don't think it does, but I've never been one to really drill down on specific definitions..."
