AAHH GREAT NEWS I got my old blog back! Gonna probably switch back to that one for a while unless I decide to permanently move here, but I owe a huge thank you to those who stuck with me and helped spread my new blog through the time I thought I lost my old one for good. Y’all are legendary!

Honestly I might end up moving here for good in the future since it’s a side blog and not a main, but idk how much I wanna commit to that so 🤷🏻. Sooo officially my day job moved me to part time and encouraged me to dedicate the rest of the time to making my comic writing be one job, while my day job is my other job. Fantasy

Leo: 15

A titan naga who loves his friends more than himself. He’s kind, sincere, and always thinking of how he can make others happy. He shows affection by constantly picking people up and latching onto them, which understandably has caused quite a few misunderstandings. Sometimes he might steal a taste or two, but he never means anything by it. It’s normal for his species after all. Besides, he usually asks permission. ......Usually.

Jake: 18

A naga wizard in training, he takes himself very seriously and isn’t one to fool around. He constantly get far too absorbed in his work and often forgets to take time for himself. Nevertheless he always looks out for others to make sure they’re taking proper care of themselves and holds a strong position as the voice of reason. He may or may not always be on the edge of a stress induced nervous breakdown but hey, aren’t we all?

Charlie: 17

Charlie is a young daredevil harpy with a taste for adventure. There isn’t much she won’t do, and will accept any challenge put in front of her. Sometimes this gets her in dangerous situations, but she somehow manages to wiggle her way out unscathed. She’s fiercely loyal and always willing to throw down with anyone who dares mess with her friends despite standing at around 5”0

Nero: 17

As a crow aravian, it’s no surprise Nero has a fondness for shiny objects. This feathered thief has a charming smile and smooth tongue, but hang on to your valuables. His fingers are notoriously sticky and he has a habit of sweet talking even the most guarded person out of their money. Even so, he generally means well and would never purposefully put someone in genuine danger. Well, anyone besides himself that is.

Sci-fi

Aiden: 21

Timid, yet loyal human mechanic Aiden can often be found tinkering in his workshop or hiding away in the underbelly of some starship. He’s a homebody at heart and would much rather stay on planet and work on his machines than go on some adventure across the galaxy. Unfortunately he is not a confrontational person and this means he often is dragged along on his friends’ adventures, despite his stammered protests.

Isaac: Idk but he looks about 45-50

Half elf, half human, all trouble. Dr. Isaac is what one might call a mad scientist, though eccentric would be a more fitting term. A bit of a morally grey character, he puts his experiments first and ignores any warnings of potential repercussions. He specializes in chemistry and, despite being the pioneer of may discoveries that have shaped new ways of life on the planet, he will always be considered a loose cannon. Luckily his trusted assistant Aiden is always nearby to keep things from going to far.

Riley: 25

Riley is a human dentist who specializes in treatment of more monstrous patients. Giant alien species, wether humanoid or otherwise, are his main customers. He is a calm, pleasant fellow with a kind face and soft voice. Simply being in the same room as him easily puts people at ease. However if push comes to shove he has been known to throw a punch so don’t test him. Besides, messing with someone beloved by the larger species of the galaxy is never a good idea.

‘Historical’

Dr. Evan: 30

A doctor who specializes in human anatomy, Dr. Evan is a kind, if strange fellow. He often will spend days on end absorbed in his work, and there isn’t much he won’t try if it promises deeper understanding of the human body. He somehow balances in a strange place between charismatic and incredibly awkward, but perhaps that just makes him more endearing. Despite all his quirks he has a soft spot for children and loves teaching them about his work, even if he struggles explaining things in a way they can understand.

Landry: 26

Dr. Evan’s best friend, it is rare to find him in the lower parts of town, preferring to spend his days with people of higher class like himself. He was born into a rich family and it shows, seeing how he values his reputation and status above almost all else. Still, he is not an unkind person and wouldn’t intentionally hurt someone without reason. Though his words can often be harsh and critical. He can often be seen helping Evan with his latest scientific endeavors and, although he tends to make a fuss, really doesn’t mind getting his hands a little dirty now then. Just a little.

Newsies

Socks: 9

A hyper young newsboy who makes his home on the streets of Brooklyn, Socks always has a smile on his face. He loves to be around people and, when it comes to hawking headlines, is one of the most successful around. This is probably only because he’s quite adorable, but I wouldn’t go telling him that. He loves frogs with all his heart and the best way to befriend him is to give him something frog related. Or better yet a real frog. Also, he hates ducks. They’re scary and if you make fun of him for it he’ll probably bite you so just...don’t.

Loudmouth: 18

Like his name suggests, Loudmouth never shuts up. His shouts can be heard echoing the streets of Brooklyn from morning till evening, and no matter how loud he yells he never seems to lose his voice. He’s a huge flirt, preferring to wink at passing girls rather than actually try and sell to them. They usually buy from him anyways though. He works to support his mother, older siblings having moved away to work in other Burroughs quite some time ago, with no word since. He isn’t sure what happened to them... Despite being the youngest he’s a big brother at heart he has pretty much adopted Socks, claiming the kid as his honorary brother. Touch him and you die.
