Please signal boost!!!!
My name is Lucas and I’m a 19 year old trans guy. I’m 6 months on Testosterone and I can honestly say that since starting I have felt immensely more comfortable in my skin and feel all around more happy. The next step in my transition is to get top surgery to relieve dyshporia regarding my chest. I have severe dyshporia and it often hinders my ability to function and preform daily tasks. Most insurances, including mine, regard top surgery as a “cosmetic surgery,” which is not the case at all, as it’s a procedure I am going to need to feel happy and comfortable in my own skin. Although I need this procedure, it is very expensive and not something I will be able to afford on my own. I’m a college student and work a part time job. I’m saving up to pay for this surgery, but it will take time and I will require some help. Even if you cannot donate just sharing this to your friends would help me more than you know, and I appreciate any donations I get, no matter how small. It would mean the world to me if you could help me achieve my goal and get a life changing procedure that will help me feel comfortable and happy in my own skin— which is something that everyone deserves.
If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact me! I really appreciate all donations and just general sharing of this page. Thank you so much.

My name is Luke and I’m an 18 year old transgender male. I have just started testosterone but as many of you may know it’s very expensive. I have to pay for public transportation fees as well as fees to get the hormones and have weekly therapy to monitor my mood/reaction to the hormones. Each trip is at least 60 dollars and that’s once every two weeks. I go to school full time and while I do have a job virtually all of it goes to bills, and I only work 3 days a week, not nearly enough to cover the funds to continue HRT. I would be working more but all the time other time is going to college classes. I feel terrible asking for things, especially money, but I really need to continue Testosterone and it would mean the world to me if you guys helped with the cost of it until I can get on my feet.  Any help is appreciated immensely! Thank you.
All in all i feel terrible posting this and asking you guys for donations but i’m really low on money right now and having enough money ever other week for my shots is a big struggle. I’ve had to pay a lot to go to the clinic every appointment but now that i’m getting hormones every other week it’s becoming expensive and more than I can afford right now.

I know some of my FTM followers are about to start T, and I’ve had some private questions to a pretty common concern — about injections hurting.
So, I thought I’d consolidate some tips:
Injections can hurt, but they shouldn’t on a regular basis. I still have days where I can feel my injection,…

Just some thoughts from a fellow who transitioned about a decade ago, hopefully of some help to folks just starting out on their journey. Mind you some things have changed a lot since that time, but others seem much the same…
Keep doing the things that...

Reminding y’all that the goodrx app and website are insanely helpful with prescription costs and are free to use.  My insurance only brings my typical cost to $110, not including needles, so this is significantly improved, price-wise.
You can put in the name of what you’re looking for, and it will show you options and locations. You bring up the one you’re using, and just show the screen (or printout) to the pharmacist. It’s INSTEAD of insurance, though, not in addition to.
And, of course, you’ll still need a valid doctor’s prescription (it’s not a site that sells medications).

Transgender Teenage Couple Transition Together (via The Huffington Post)
A pair of teenagers from Oklahoma might seem like your typical young couple, but their love story is unlike many others. The transgender couple actually transitioned together.
Just two years ago, Arin Andrews and Katie Hill hadn’t transitioned yet. The two had struggled with their identities throughout childhood; Hill had struggled with bullying. Then one day they met at a trans support group, after each had begun the transitioning process, and they fell in love.
Found this ridiculously sweet story today and wanted to share it with my followers.

Binding seems to be a hot topic in the transgender community. People are constantly fighting over what method is best, etc. Your safety and health is whats most important here though, so I’m going to put a list of criteria you should go through, with whatever binding method you choose, to make…
