Sunny and clear day

A small and little story about how the world works and the thoughts that come within.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peedee lays down on the grass looking up at the blue sky, he looks up and thinks to himself. Steven lays down next to him. Peedee blinks a bit to himself. Feeling the aroma of the grass around the both of them. It was calming. He let out a sigh and spoke. His voice quiet, not wanting to disturb the natures voice:

“Steven, do you think there is life somewhere out there, way beyond our solar system?”

Steven paused for a moment. His eyes looking at the blonde haired boy.

“Peedee, I know there is, they are living lives almost like us, maybe a bit differently”

A long pause was between them. Peedee smiled. He closed his eyes and felt the wind blow through his hair and through his body. Steven looked up at the sky. A bit of guilt was felt through him. He wanted the peace Peedee had felt in this very moment, but Steven knew exactly what was out there. He closed his eyes. Drifting of into a slumber that would connect his mind to events that may happen in the near by future. All his thoughts were on his friends. Wanting to keep them safe.
