I think game informs about this but those are not Sharran stuff. Some of them are them made by Balthazar and some of them are made by Orthons. Not saying Sharrans wouldn't do that to people, they would but this isn't aesthetic enough for them.

You've got a point there lol, one thing about the Shadow-cursed lands (or at least the Reithwin area of the map) is that theres good decor. Idk how many pictures I took of all the pretty gothic stuff everywhere.

I don't think I'll ever stop thinking about how day one of this illithid mess, Lae'zel (raised in gith society and extremely anti-mindflayer) gets a fucking mindflayer parasite in her brain that will TURN HER INTO ONE and (in her mind) is now responsible for getting not only herself, but also the rest of these idiots/unlucky victims to a githyanki crèche so they can be un-mindflayered (whether she's actually the leader or not) and nobody is listening to her. Also her people just want her to kill herself bc of it. It's literally the worst day of her life.

Astarion, however, basically woke up (hundreds??[of] I'm not an expert on Faerûn geography) miles away from his abusive master with a neat little thing in his head which makes it so he is no longer under said abusive master’s control, can control other people, and also he can do a bunch of shit he couldn't do before. Crossing running water? Entering establishments/homes? Going out in the sun? Drinking from "thinking creatures"? No problem at all. This is the best day of his life.

And I do not ship them or anything but I do think it's hilarious that they are the only two that will just fuck each other if left to their own devices.
