Reiji liked to call you a ‘maid’ and Camus—if he deigned you worthy of acknowledgment at all—preferred the term 'servant’. Ranmaru just called you “hey, you”. You liked 'cleaner’. It kept things from getting too weird. That’s what you were here for, after all: cleaning. Your workload had increased ever since Starish and Haruka Nanami had arrived, but you still managed to juggle your time so you could be present for some of the dorm hijinks. You were up late most days anyway, so you’d frequently find yourself cleaning the common areas after the residents had gone to sleep.

pining is 100000% the most important aspect of pre-relationship fic for me. good-natured whole-hearted pining filled with lovelorn gazing and chest aching and fluttering touches, that’s my top priority. i was put on this earth to watch characters suffer over the profundity of their love for another person. unrequited love is why god made me. characters finding out that their feelings are reciprocated after long months/years of suffering is why the universe was assembled from nothingness. amen.

Imagine Sasuke and Hinata went on missions together because they were assigned to, and then Sasuke starts sending Hinata urgent text messages like “Stake out at cafe” or “Movie theater. Tomorrow.” and Hinata goes assuming they’re supposed to be undercover until she finally asks what this is all for and Sasuke has to admit he thought she knew he was asking her out.

And really it all started because Sasuke was too proud/embarrassed to just ASK if she would like to do these things.
