Overall Tournament Results

Here's a deeper dive into the tournament results and how each contestant fared! These results don't include the bonus polls, and in cases where two contestants moved on together (Benedict and Orlaea, Julio and Jens) I split their votes between them so that each received half.

I'll be doing some traveling soon so I probably won't start a new tournament right away, but I'm loosely planning to do another one sometime in the future. So feel free to stick around if you're interested, and either way, thanks again to everyone for participating! Running this has really been awesome, and I loved seeing everyone's thoughts on all the different characters. Until next time! :)

Semi-final results are in!

Our winners are Frederica and cats, and they'll be proceeding to face off in the final poll. Quick shout out to Anna: while she didn't ultimately become a finalist, her poll vs. Frederica had 2 or 3 times the usual amount of votes we've seen on polls. Both she and Frederica got a lot of love, and it was fun to see everyone rooting for them :)

And with that, we're moving on to the final poll! Frederica, one of our quintessential heroes, vs. the cats, the unexpected underdogs (undercats?). Both contestants have been pretty overwhelmingly popular in their respective polls, and I'm excited to see how everything pans out!

I've been thinking about what to do with this blog after this character tournament wraps up, and if people are interested, I've been playing around with some ideas for additional Triangle Strategy-related brackets. So just thought I'd throw out a poll and see if people would be down for that, and if so, what might be fun.

Round 3 has concluded!

Here are the results and next matchups for Round 4 (Quarterfinals). Round 4 should start in the next few days as soon as I make the polls. I'm kind of thinking I might go down to 2 a day vs. the 4 I've been doing so far since the pool is getting smaller.
