A Bat and Her Dragon Babies Part 2

A fan fic with Poppy and @turtledragons au.

Rated T (warning: blood, swearing)

Summery: The boys get a check up and poppy worries about them.

It was morning, well morning for the hidden city. Poppy awoken to the sound of her alarm. With tired eyes she slammed her hand down too shut off the noise. She was up far too late last night. About a week a go Poppy had met a family that that was in a difficult situation. A family that was composed of 4 half kappa, half Tatsu hybrids, a Tesso, a witch, and a cyborg. A family that is detached from the conduct of the hidden city. And from what she could pick up, it was for good reason.

Poppy got up from her bed, and prepared for the day ahead. As she got ready, she pondered over that strange family and if they really would show up. A quick shower, brushing her… fur and teeth, getting dressed, and putting on make up. Poppy was ready for the day.

As she left her apartment, which was over top of her clinic, she began hearing the high-pitched babbling of Shino. Shino was a Futakuchi onna, and one of Poppy’s head doctors. Shino loved three things, waking up, talking and, iced tea. This made her perfected for the early morning shifts. As Poppy walking in, coffee in hand, Shino spoke up.

“HI POPPY, how are you? lovely day yes? Did you get more that freezing mint? If we are not busy, I wanted to start stockpiling some burn wraps.”

“Yes yes yes, I got some.” Said Poppy “But I am expecting some people to come in today for a… ahhh… immigration check up. So, I am going to need you up front with the nurses on till Daisuke gets here.”

Shino looked surprised and started inspecting the appointment clipboard. “Really?! I didn’t see anything on the board?” she said flipping through the appointments scheduled for the day. Luckily, I was supposed to be a quite day today which was what poppy needed.

Poppy rubbed the back of her neck. “Ya, sorry about that love.” She said “it was a bit of a last-minute thing. I will explain later, but if you see large mixed species family come in asking for me, let me know Aright?” Shino happily nodded, got up, and when to inform the nurses. And with that Poppy got to work.

Poppy then got to work on papers, medical supplies, and treating the few patients she had that day. A vary normal day for the bat. Soon enough the pa system comes on.

“Doctor Blair to sub waiting room 3 please, Doctor Blair to sub waiting room 3 please”

“must be the boys” Poppy said setting down the forms she was signing. Poppy got up and hidden to the waiting room. When she got there, she opened the door and saw her patients. Leo, Raph Mikey and Splinter.

The waiting room was a painted a soft gray, with plants, two soft white sofas and a small desk for the doctor to sit and wright notes. There was also a few magazines for adults and a box on foam building blocks for kids

“Hello boys how are yo-“ Poppy was cut off from Mikey Jumping into her arms.

“POPPY!!!” The small half dragon jumping into her arms. Poppy smiled, placed the boy down and closed the door betide her. “Ello love, thank you lot for coming”

“uh no problem Poppy-But?” Raph shuddered “Is this really necessary? I mean we have been pretty good at staying hidden from everyone in the hidden city?”

Poppy looked over the review sheets, her brow farrowed. “And that’s the problem” she said “All of eight of ya lot have bin technically breaking the law.” A wave of concern washed over the room.

“What do you mean breaking the law?” asked leo.

Poppy sighed and walked over to her chair ushering the others to take a set. Poppy began. “The eight of you are unregistered mystics, this means that you are not permitted to enter any kind of mystical city, town or ect. This is because with no registration is no way to know if you have any disseises, suffer from any curses, have a criminal record in the human world. Or if your human, we need to know you can be trusted with keeping the hidden city a secret.”

“Wait then why did you bring us here?!” Raph asked “doesn’t this mean you are having us break the law too?”

“No not at all, if fact you being here would be the first step in receiving registration, you just did not go through the waiting proses. But thanks to my communication with Splinter and getting a better idea on why you don’t have registration I have made sure that we skip that and skip any penalties for not having a permit.”

The worry lifted the room on hearing this. Raph turned to his father “w-what did you tell her?”

“only things about draxum and big mama” He said

“I understand that there is more to talk about, but we can get to that later. For now, lets talk about registration.” Poppy began to describe the purposes and reasons for registration and that she will be giving the embassy two files. The public file for normal law enforcement, employers, and the works can look at. And a privet file that only the family’s personnel doctor, or people high enough in government and or law to see it.

After a few questions it was time for the proper check up. Poppy stood up and walked over to the door they lead to the check up room. “Now because this check up is for your registration, it can only be the doctor and the patient family and friends need to stay outside of the check up room. This is to make sure no one has any dormant illnesses or if there is any information you wish to keep privet form your family stays privet. Would anyone like to go first?”

The Uneasy felling shot right back up. just giving away info on themselves that they’ve always kept close to themselves. Raph stood up “I’ll go first” he said. And before anyone could protest Raph walked into the check up room and Poppy closed the door.

The check up room like the waiting room was also a soft gray but instead had a medical table, tools and the rest of the bits and bobbles you would see in the average doctor’s office. They were also some interments Raphe did not recognize. However, Raph came to realize they where more medical tools for different mythical creatures.

Poppy sat at her desk and Raph sat on the medical bed. “Raphael, Hamato, age 17, birth day August 10 making you a Leo, Ironic Yes?” Poppy asked Raph just looked at her. “…oh! I have been talking to you dad over the phone, mainly for this appointment.” Poppy said “oh” said calming back down. “Ok Raph I am going to ask you a few questions and then we will follow with the exam ok?”

“Uhh ok?” Raph said Clearly uncomfortable with the new environment. noticing Poppy’s voice and demeaner changed from the last time they met. From an annoyed Scottish woman to a motherly doctor.

“OK first vary simple How are you feeling? both physically and mentally?” Poppy asked.

“Ah little worried were goanna be attacked but fine.” He rubbed the front of his neck and winced a little. “M- throat hurts but that’s it…” he added with a mutter

Poppy froze and looked up from her clipboard “a-attacked why on earth where you worried about that?”

He shrugged “Always happens one way or another when we go out. Happened when we met you too.”

Poppy was silent for a moment then took out a small booklet and wrote something down. Closing the book and setting it down she spoke. “Well I can guarantee you and your family are safe here. Ok then uhhhh, you said your throat hurts?”

He didn’t relax but nodded. “Hurts to talk like this is all.”

Beginning to write onto her clipboard she asks “How long he this been going on for?”

He tried counting on his claws for a bit “Bout a year? Ever since we became dragons that is.”

“hmmm is it talking in general or when you speck different languages?”

“Any human language, feels like I’m singing notes way too high for me.”

“Makes senses. Larger mythical creates have bigger vocal cords. I will look into some of the lozenge medication that even I use to help that.” Poppy continued to write in the clipboard “ok next do you know if you are allergic to anything?

He hummed “Not that I am aware of?”

“mmmm ok Do you suffer from any bad habits? Harmful stimming, Smoking, or anything like that?”

“Uhh, I eat anything that looks kind of edible?”

Poppy looked at him for a second and then went back to her notes “you sound like my brothers” she in a condescending tone “we will work on that, next uhhhh, how do you feel when you shapeshift?”

“Eh, pretty sure it’s the whole being a snapping turtle and all that. but uh, it feels weird? Like it’s right but wrong at the same time? I don’t really know how to explain it.”

Poppy laughs and looks down at her self “I get that.” She crosses out that question and moves on “Have there been any difficulties with you new forms?”

He snorted quietly, finally starting to relax a little “Other than shedding, and the voice thing there’s been no problems for me.”

“yep slandered stuff, a hot bath or using a humidifier can help with the shedding. Ok I this we are done with that group of questions; do you have any medical questions for me love?”

He thought for a bit then nodded. “Do you know of anything Dragons can’t eat? Snapping turtles don’t really have that problem but I don’t know about dragons.”

Poppy thought “mmmmm no not that I can recall, however the fact that you are a snapping turtle means your primary diet would contain mostly meats but other then that no.” Poppy flipped the pages of her clipboard. “ Ok medical questions done now I am going to have to ask you a few personal questions for your file. If there are some questions you truly do not wish to answer just tell me ok?”

“Alright.” He stiffened up again. Poppy notices and smiles. “This will all be for the privet file, no one will know unless you tell them, ok?” Raph nodded but still nervous.

Then Poppy began. “first what is your biological gender and do you go be said gender?”

“Male and yes” Raph said

“Do you have a specific sexuality identity? Gay, Straight, Ace?“ Raph paused

“Haven’t thought about it?” He was confused and just kind of shrugged. Poppy smiled “we can leave that blank then.” She said and moved on the next question

“Are you sexually active?”

“Nope” Raph said quickly “Alright” Poppy said and wrote it down

“What are somethings you find enjoyably in life?”

“Umm, lots of things, play fighting, playing games, swimming, hunting, collecting stuffed animals.” Raph answered “Christ” Poppy said “If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought you were me brother Victor’s kid.” Raph tilted his head and mad a low confused rumble.

Poppy continued “Do you find anything about your personality, physical state, or mental state that worries you?” Raph looked down at his claws. “It’s…hard to know my strength…”

Poppy said nothing and rote it down “aaaaaand there ok we are done the with the questions. Now the exam” Poppy first checked Raphs Ears, Eyes, and mouth. “Ears are fine and your eyes and teeth have a slight tallow tint to them comment for most carnivores. Your throat is a bit inflamed but we already know the reason for that.” She then checked his fins, tail, weight, height (in both forms) and heartbeat as well as his magicbeat. “Ok Raph” Poppy began “Everything looks good I my want to talk to you later about you magical abelites latter with you family however is that good?”

Raph Paused “Um yea sure” “Good” Poppy said “Now we are at the last part” Poppy paused “….. I need to give you your vaccination shots” It went quiet, Raph got visibly more scared at that and started to stammer out excuses as to why not, none of them were understandable as they were all in dragonish. Poppy saw this and decided not to just we over the tray of needles and sighed “hm Splint told me you would be like this. Would you like me to bring him or one of your brothers in?”

He seemed to be trying to take slow breaths and just nodded. “ok” poppy said and walked to the door. She opened the door and peeked out “Uh splinter?” Poppy waved him over, letting him inside and closed the door after him. “Sorry can you stay with Raph while I give him his shots?” Before he could actually say anything, Mikey jumped up “He’s freaking out?! I can help he needs a good distraction and I’m really good at those!”

Poppy was stunned “uuuuuuuh ok sure but Mikey please next time nock” Mikey sunk down “Oh right, sorry about that.” Poppy sighed and Splinter left the room. Poppy brought the tray over trying to make sure Raph did not see the needles. “Before we get started, I need to ask Raph have you ever had the chick pox?

“uhhh no, April and Casey did but we didn’t get it, I don’t think reptiles can actually” He was trying not to look at what she was doing while Mikey was on his back patting his brothers head.

Poppy’s face turned into a look of concern. She walked over to the cabinet and pulled out another needle and a small vile. “I am surprised you didn’t it must have been a more human strain. Either way we need to give you the varicella vaccine, with so many different kinds of mythical beings you could get one with some nasty addons.”

“O-oh” Raph stammered, He hid his in his claws not willing to see what was going on. Poppy try to show a smile of sympathy as she moved to Raphs side and got the first injection ready. “this will be over before you know it”

Mikey immediately started up asking details about Raph’s latest stuffed animal and it did well enough to distract him a bit. And with that Poppy gave him the first injection. The first one was to draw blood the next 9 where the vaccinations. The whole time Poppy was working Raph’s panic attack got worse and worse on till. “aaaaand their All Done!” After 2 minutes Poppy was done. She placed the sample of Raph’s blood in a small box and began to clean up “see not so bad right?” she asked.

“It’s-It’s done? That’s it?” He peaked out from behind his claws. “Yep that’s it, you did grate Raph” She said handing him a box of candy. “I guess you can go next Mikey since your already here?”

“Oh…I may not have thought this though.” He realized as Raph wished him luck and made a hasty retreat. Poppy picked Mikey up and placed him on the bed, then sat back down at her desk. She flipped a few pages on her clipboard and began.

“Hmmmmm Michelangelo Hamato born July 30th age 15. So How are you feeling mikey?”

“Nervous?” he said. Poppy chuckled “that’s understandable, but don’t worry it will be over before you know it. Now do you have any allergies?”

“I don’t think so.” He said

“Do you suffer from any bad habits? Harmful stimming, Smoking, or anything like that?”

He thought about it for a while “Yea I put venom on my claws….I really shouldn’t.�� Poppy smirked “yes you really shouldn’t” She wrote it down “How do you feel when you shapeshift?” He griped his arms and looked away. “Like…like I’m losing myself…” He said. Poppy looked up. “Can you elaborate?”

He thought for a minute “It’s…I don’t know it just doesn’t feel like me! I know when I change, I need to be careful, really careful…and… I’m scared that one day I won’t be able to change back…” Poppy was silent for a moment and before Mikey knew it Poppy changed her shape from the body of the bat to her human form. “In the beginning we are all scared we may loss ourselves, when in reality it just takes knowing who you are not what you are.”

He sighed “I hope you’re right…” Poppy then turned back into her bat form and fluffed her fur “I was your age once of course I’m right. Now let’s move on. Shall we? Have there been any difficulties with you new forms?”

Mikey sighed and rubbed his eyes. “The uhh, venom is a problem but I can’t really see anymore.” Poppy began the wright “Oh? well venom can be a big problem for someone so young however it will be easier to manage as you get older. Now what do you mean you can’t see anymore?”

“I mean I can’t see anything unless it’s really dark.” He said a tone of worry in his voice. “extreme light sensitivity” Poppy said “I will have a look at your eyes later but, most likely you will need to see an optometrist so we can get you some glasses to help with that.”

“If you say so.” He shrugged; Poppy made a mental note to call Dr. Pharn for Mikie’s eyes.

“ok before we move on Are their any general medical questions you have? Or is their something bothering you wish to ask me?”

He thought for a moment “Are you guys able to make anti venom?” Poppy chuckled “you are really worried about that? Aren’t ya? Yes, we will be making you an anti-venom it’s mandator in fact.”

Mikey grinned “I’m guessing you’ll need some venom for that yea?” “yes,yes” said Poppy “but we can get that later, We are now on the personal questions for your file.” Mikey nodded “Oh right, what’s the next question?”

Poppy began “whoa their, now before we get to that I need to let you know. If there are some questions you truly do not wish to answer just tell me ok? Not all of this is needed, and I know people can get uncomfortable with some of the questions.“

“Alright then.” said Mikey getting a better grasp of Poppy’s concern.

“Ok” said Poppy “first what is your biological gender and do you go be said gender?”

"Male and I go by it.”

“Do you have a specific sexuality identity?”

"Haven’t thought much about it, haven’t really had a reason to.”

“understandable, Are you sexually active?”

“Nope.”

“All righty, what are somethings you find enjoyably in life?”

“Oh Oh! Pizza, and painting, drawing, skateboarding, and playing games, and Lou Jitsue, and my family.” He listed off. Poppy could only smile and wright.

Now the tough one, “Do you find anything about your personality, physical state, or mental state that worries you? Other then the venom, the eye sight, and the felling like your losing your self…..” “oh boy” Poppy whispered under her breath.

He pulled in on himself “I…I’m worried I’ll hurt someone but that falls under venom and losing myself I guess.” Poppy leaned down to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. “I understand my dear” She let go and wrote on the clipboard. “You have nothing to worry about my dear, we will make you an anit-venom, and you will not lose yourself.”

“That, helps a lot actually.” He grinned a little

“Good, now we move on the physical exam”

Poppy began to check his eyes first. “Yep” she said “we will need to get you an appointment with Doctor Pharn. “ (Doctor Pharn: local eye doctor and Poppy’s wrestling buddy.) She moved on his ears, mouth, teeth, fins, tail, heartbeat, magicbeat. (in both forms). And before Mikey new it Poppy was done.

“Alright hun” Poppy said “we now need to move on your shots but before that” Poppy gives Mikey a small container. “can you fill that with your venom?”

He felt the little container. “Is this all you need? I remember reading that it takes a lot of venom to make anti venom.”

Poppy nodded “Yes this will be just for testing, to find out the proper formula.” Poppy paused “…. For some we can not make an anit-venom, because the venom it’s self is too strong, so just getting bags on venom only to find out you can’t do anything with it can be a problem. Now before you panic, I highly doubt your venom that strong, but if it is, we will need to go though the proceedings of removing the venom in your body altogether. And the reason we don’t do that for everyone is because the removal requires 2 to 3 high risk surgeries and are only permitted for people who can’t get an anit-venom. Do you understand?”

He nodded and looked nervous but nodded. He filled the little jar with the yellow liquid. "Here.” He was a little shaky, he had a feeling his venom would be too strong. Poppy notices his nervousness and gave a soft smile “don’t worry, if it is toe strong then we can look into getting you some protective gear”

Mikey froze. “Hold up, that exists?” he asked. Poppy smiled widely “ay it dose. It’s kind of like mouth guards and heavy-set gloves. Most people who have a strong toxin in then don’t want to go through the surgeries so we have to come up with other ways in protecting themselves and others.” Poppy took the container of venom and set it a side and grabbed the last tray. ”Now we need to work on the last part… I need to take a blood sample as well as give you your shots?”

Mikey nodded "Oh uhh yea sure, I guess? I don’t really know where you take blood from but ah not the neck? The venom glands are kinda close to the surface there.” He gestured vaguely to the sides of his neck. “Leo said something about the arm? or was it the foot…” He muttered more to himself than Poppy.

Poppy laughed “clam done laddie, here is what I will do. First, I will take some blood from your lower arm” she explained “Then I will be giving you your shots on your shoulder. Best part about being half vampire is that you can see a person’s veins and arteries. I can physically see what I am doing.” As she’s is talking, she starts getting her gloves on and prepares the first needle.

Mikey just starts asking more questions immediately becoming distracted and asking everything and anything about how that even worked. Poppy answers his questions in a clam tone all while giving him his shots, taking his distraction as an opportunity. And before he new it… “all right laddie your all done.”

“Aw cool! So we done done then? Want me to send in the one who won’t stop bugging everyone?” Poppy snorted “Yes please and thank you Mikey” she said giving him a candy box.

“ok, Thanks for the candy!” He called as he rushed out. Not long after Leo came in looking all round in heavy interest. It was obvious that he was itching to open every cabinet and drawer.

Poppy watched Leo and smiled “After I get everyone’s information in file, I am goanna have no choose but have you as my assistant, here aren’t I?” she asked. “Would you?!” He exclaimed then immediately tried to tone it down. “I mean yea that would be great.” Poppy chuckled and began her questions.

“Leo Hamato, age 16, birthday October 25. We are just goanna start off with some basic questions. First off how are you feeling?”

“Perfectly fine.” He said. “ok, Do you have any allergies?”

“Hmm pollen but it’s super mild.” He answerd, Poppy wrote it down. “hmmmm ok, do you suffer from any bad habits? Harmful stimming, Smoking, or anything like that?” Poppy asked

“Build up of electricity. I’m working on it but slip ups happen when making a new habit.” Poppy wrote it down “hmmmm conductors may help” she thought out loud “How do you feel when you shapeshift?”

Leo pauses then speaks “It’s bizarre, it feels like it should hurt but it doesn’t and I never know if I have legs or not. Things just kind of shift? I don’t really know how to explain it.” He was looking down at his clawed hands as if they would bring the explanation to him. Poppy speaks “Like I told your brothers it is something you will get used to. However, I too will get that strange feeling and I had my ability to transform since I was whee bab.”

He looked up at her and grinned. “That’s good to know.” He then however frowned a little after staring up at her and his tail found itself wound around a chair leg. “is everything alright lad?” Poppy asked. “Oh yea fine, I just think I’m supposed to be arboreal or something like that. Not much a fan of being on the ground or well, the short one.” “hmmm” Poppy said with a smirk remembering her abnormally large height (for most yokai that is) and before Leo’s eyes Poppy shifted into her human form, Fire red hair and all. “if you think that was tall you should see my father.” Poppy said in both a joking way and a “I am not kidding” way.

He snorted “For some reason I believe it but seriously you can shift back. It’s more so being on the ground that’s a problem for me, instincts and all that.” he was grinning and fully relaxed now that he had his tail grounding him. Poppy shook her head “ah done worry about it laddie. I am me in both bodies. One s not lesser then the other. Now let us continue.” Poppy looked back to her clipboard “Have there been any difficulties with you new forms?

“Mostly the electricity builds up and the lack of legs. The venom is another but that’s not too difficult to deal with. Just things to get used to.” He answered as poppy wrote “ah I see well I will have to gat a sample of your venom too them” she said “ok lastly Are their any general medical questions you have? Or is their something bothering you wish to ask me?”

He had a lot of questions but those could wait till later. One however stood above the rest. “Do you know how to tell what kind of humidity someone may need? and how to raise it if necessary?” Poppy stopped for a moment then spook “well for most reptiles you would find out by look at their environment in the wild. However, it’s a bit difficult to figure that out for most mystical beings. When talking to your father I have already come to the conclusion that you boys are half kappa; a turtle yokai, half Tatsu; a dragon yokai that mostly lives near lakes, streams, rivers, etc. Also, your father is a Tesso; a Rat yokai but I digress. With that in mind and with Raph comment about shedding I will get you and your family some industrial heat lamps and humidifiers for each of your rooms. Test them out to find the heat and humidity you and your bodies prefer.

“Yea that, that would be good especially for Donnie and Mikey.” He looked a little worried mentioning them but quickly shook it off. But as per her observation Poppy noticed his look and spook “well I have already talked to Mikey, however your brother Donnie” Poppy paused “… I hoped I didn’t show it but when I saw him… let’s just say I am worried about him. Your father and I are looking into a plan that will hopefully help him.” As Poppy spook she finished up her writings waiting for Leo’s response.

Leo hummed “He’s turned grey now…used to have these shiny olive and bright purple scales now they’re just dull and grey. And Mikey doesn’t even have lungs anymore but he refuses to sleep in the pond.” He was muttering more to himself than her.

Poppy spook snapping him out of his mutterings. “well it’s nothing we can work on now” she said “shale we continue?”

“Oh, right big ears,” Leo said, commenting on Poppy’s vampiric hearing “yea we can continue.” Poppy smiled “alright” she said “So the medical questions done now I am going to have to ask you a few personal questions for your file. If there are some questions you truly do not wish to answer just tell me ok?”

He nodded his eyes coming back into sharp interest.

“Ok first what is your biological gender and do you go be said gender?” “Male and yes.” He said

“Do you have a specific sexuality identity?” “Not yet I’m still figuring it out.”

“ok ok, Are you sexually active?” “Nope” he said.

“What are somethings you find enjoyably in life?” Leo answered “Video games, sparing, shiny things usually knives, doing awesome stunts, swimming, and gliding.” Poppy wrote down. “Knife eh? I am more of a javelin woman myself haha” Poppy jokes regarding her time in the highland games.

“Ok last question, Do you find anything about your personality, physical state, or mental state that worries you?” “I’m always worried…that’s probably not good.” He shrugged “well don’t sound TOO worried about it” Poppy joked weighting it down on her clip bored. Commenting on his calm demeaner. “Ok now that is done, we will move on to the physical exam, ok?”

“Works for me.” Leo said as Poppy got to work.

Like his last two brothers Poppy examined Leos Ears, Eye, mouth, teeth, fins, tail, heartbeat, magicbeat. All in both forms regarding that Leo did not if fact have much or anything to really worry about that see could see. As this was happening Leo filled a vile that Poppy gave to him with venom.

“alrighty then Leo we are done with the physical exam now the last part… I need to take a blood sample as well as give you your shots, but before we do that, I need to ask you this truthfully.” Poppy said leaning on the doctors table “I’ve talked to your father about this already but do you wish to be my assistant here? Thou the work will not be easy; you will be getting formal training here as well as a small pay. You will really be more of an intern or apprentice here since you do not yet have proper schooling in the medical field. But this will be a big jump start for you if you want.”

He froze a for a second then nodded. “Anything, just anything is better than those old outdated books and this? Helping even just once here would be more than anything I could have even hoped for just a week ago.” Poppy smiled and got the Flu vaccine out from the drawer. “well that sadly means we will have to give you this as well but I will be more then happy to teach you…” Poppy stopped “well teach you as much as I can before you get into an actual medical school. “

“I’ll take it, anything at all. Anything is better than performing surgery and hoping they don’t stop breathing let alone cutting the wrong thing.” he was shaking a little but managed to hold his arm steady for her.

For the next few minutes Leo and Poppy talked about the things Leo would get to do as Poppy’s assistant in the clinic, as Poppy gave him his shots.

“All done” Poppy said, cleaning up her station and giving Leo a candy box. “Now wait outside with you family I just need to gather my things.” Leo walked outside to his brothers excited about what Poppy offered him.

As they were talking Poppy walked out of the check up room giving a bunch of papers and a container with the blood and venom to one of the nurses. She then turned to Splinter nodding her head to the side to signal she needed to talk to him. The boys saw their father stand and walk away from they and being to talk to Poppy. Thou the boys could not hear them the look of frustration and worried showed on Poppy’s face.

“What do you think they are talking about?” asked Mikey. “Probably about Donnie.” Said Leo “when I was talking to her, I mentioned Donnie and she got that same look on her face.” “what did you say?” Raph asked “Nothing really” Leo said shifting in his seat “I told her I was worried about him going dull from the lack of humidity and was I said him name she got all worried. Almost like she knew something I didn’t.” The boys looked at each other loss in thought, only coming back into forces when Poppy and splinter walk over to them.

“Alrighty boys have a seat.” Said Poppy as she sat in the adjacent seat form them.

“Well this has definitely been…. Interesting, but nothing that we can’t work on.” The boys looked at each other, confused. “So I am going to go throe what I have panned for the next few days and something things I want you boys to look out for. Ok?” The boys nodded “good” Poppy said.

“First I want you boys to look out for each other. If any of you get any pain, nauseas, fever with in the next few hours, please call me. You me be having a negative reaction the vaccination.” Poppy stated “Your father will bring April and Cassy here tomorrow ware I will give the three of them a check up. After I fill out their forms, I will be bringing some heat lamp and humidifiers to install around your home as well as some lozenge medication for you Raph.” Poppy said. Leo and Mikey looked at him in confusion. Poppy continued.

“I am going to also book an appointment with Doctor Pharn for you Mikey to get your eyes checked as well as sending in the measurements of your hands and wrists to get claw guards for you.” Mikey got excited to hear that giving Poppy a smile. “aaaaaaand that’s it, do any of you have any question?” They all shook their heads. “Grate” said Poppy “then I think we are done here.” They all got up and poppy walked them to the door. “thank you do much for your help Poppy” said Splinter. “yes, Thank you!” The three turtle dragons said. Poppy giggled “You are most welcome I will see you four later” Poppy waved them good bye as she watched them leave the clinic. Poppy then walked to her office sat at her desk and put her head in her hands. Giving a frustrating sigh.

“Poppy?” a voice called out. Poppy looked up to see Daisuke a kitsune and one of her nurses, standing in the door way. “Is everything ok.” He asked.

“…the family that just left has a lot of things going ageist them.” Poppy started “especially with one of the kids that didn’t come today.” Daisuke sat in one of the gest chairs across for Poppy. “why do you say that?” he asked.

Poppy stared blankly at the wall for a few moments then spook “call it doctors intuition but, that boy is struggling from some of the worst PTSD I have ever seen.” Daisuke heart sunk ready to ask more questions until poppy handed him her book of attacks. A book that recorded all the intense and attacks from monster hunters, the human mage population and more. Poppy spook. “we can’t do anything right now so it is best not to dwell on it. Here I need to take this to the mystic city embassy, it has all the reported attacks from this week.” Daisuke nodded “sure thing boss” he said “thank you” Poppy responded and he walked off.

Poppy now sat in her office alone once more thinking about the lasts weeks events. Poppy knew that this was only the beginning.
