Promises

-April 1, 1924-

Today would be the day that the irritating man from the other day would come to pick up his jacket, so she had been in a bad mood all day.

Helen had gone to deliver some of the clothes and buy things they needed so she was completely alone.

She was sitting behind the counter listening to the usual radio broadcast. The presenter's voice was the only thing that made that day not so unpleasant.

A few days had passed since Noah had started courting her and she felt surprisingly happy, her grandmother was even happier than her.

Although she worries about her parents, she hasn't told them anything about Noah or that she was working, and she honestly hasn't spoken to them since she moved in with her grandmother.

She sighed in frustration and ran her hands over her face.

The door to the store opened and she acted naturally trying to smile.

The man from the other day entered the store.

This day couldn't be worse

"Good afternoon dear, I came to pick up my coat"

The man looked at her with a mocking smile on his face and she looked at him with half-closed eyes while still smiling.

"In a moment sir"

She went to the warehouse where all the clothes were hanging and looked for the red jacket.

She took the coat to go back to the store.

She abruptly threw his coat on the counter.

He looked at her with displeasure and left the money on the counter.

"Thank you for your kindness, miss."

He made fun of her and then left the store

"Oh, I can't stand it, well at least I won't have to see him again."

-April 3, 1924-

The man had returned and this time he left a red jacket and vest.

Just when she was beginning to believe that he would not return, although it was truly a great benefit that this man came to the store because he paid a little more than the price.

The guy was an idiot but at least he made the same amount of money as mending two clothes and mending just one.

And things began to change

-April 9, 1924-

"So sweetheart, you can't go out with me this week."

Noah had gone to the store to visit his partner and try to convince her to go out with him.

"I'm sorry but I'm really busy and although Helen helps me a lot I can't leave all the work to her"

Noah's gaze drifted to the clothes hanging behind his girlfriend and he clenched his fists, he recognized those coats very well.

"That guy came again"

His voice was an irritated whisper as he thought about him, there was something about that guy that he didn't like.

She followed her boyfriend's gaze and sighed.

"Yes, well, he hasn't stopped coming."

He felt really upset, that guy was taking up his girlfriend's time and she couldn't spend time with him.

"So that's why you can't go out with me, you care more about that guy's clothes."

He claimed, trying to stay calm.

She rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"It's my job, I'll go out with you later, I already told you."

Noah was about to protest when the door opened, he looked back at the door and rolled his eyes when he saw that guy enter.

"Good afternoon sir, I will bring your clothes in a moment."

The man nodded and approached the counter to wait. He didn't even look at him, which made Noah even more upset.

She came back with some clothes and placed them on the counter.

"Here are your clothes, sir."

Noah noticed that she was smiling at that guy when she had been complaining about him days before.

"Thank you dear"

He left money on the counter and said goodbye to her before leaving the store.

"Have a nice day"

She noticed that Noah was looking at her with annoyance.

"And what's wrong with you?"

Noah forced a smile.

"Nothing, it's just that I don't understand why you're suddenly nice to him if a few days ago you were complaining about him."

She rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Well my parents raised me very well and I guess the guy is not an idiot"

Noah laughed bitterly and raised an eyebrow.

"And you expect me to believe that"

She frowned and looked at him confused.

"What are you trying to imply?"

Noah shrugged, trying to hide his jealousy.

"I'm not going to stand your jealousy so you can go because I'm busy."

Noah didn't say anything and left the store angrily, slamming the door.

-April 13, 1924-

She was waiting for a lady to come pick up her clothes so she could close but it seemed like the lady was going to take a long time to come.

The door opened and he thought the lady had finally come but it was just Noah. Days had passed since their argument and they had not spoken to resolve things.

"Hi sweetheart

Noah approached and tried to take her hand but she pushed it away.

"What do you want, I'm working"

Noah sighed and looked into her eyes.

"I know I acted like a child throwing a tantrum but it's just that we haven't spent time together and that bothers me."

She sighed and let him take her hand.

"I know but you didn't have to imply those things, I plan to be with you and besides he's not my type."

Noah smiled and kissed her cheek.

"Then you won't leave me"

She laughed lightly and shook her head.

"Of course not, I plan to be with you my whole life."

He brought his lips together to kiss her.

"You promise"

She caressed his cheek and nodded.

"I promise"

-April 14, 1924-

"Let me see if I understand, you're asking me to tear your clothes so you can take them to the store of the girl you love."

A man behind the bar questioned him

"Love is a strong word, I would say I'm only interested in that woman."

The man looked at him with a face of, are you kidding me?

"For God's sake, Alastor, just approach her like a normal person and invite her to dinner or something."

Alastor rolled his eyes.

"Oh my god, why hadn't I thought of that, thank you Husk, you're so smart."

Husk snorted in irritation.

"Fuck you Alastor I'm not going to rip your clothes again"

Alastor smiled arrogantly.

"Are you sure Husker?"

Alastor was standing in front of the door of the tailor's shop with his coat missing buttons and visibly torn.

He had just seen that Noah guy come out and felt a slight annoyance wash over him. He knew she was dating him but he could change that.

He entered the store and saw her standing behind the counter, looking really charming and happy.He didn't like that last one because he knew that guy made her happy.

"Hello, how can I help you this time?"

Her sweet voice brought him out of his thoughts and he approached the counter to place his recently damaged jacket and that of his friend who was more damaged.

"Oh dear, don't talk to me like that, you make me feel old, I don't think we are many years apart."

She smiled sadly and apologized.

"I'm sorry, that's how I talk to all my clients, and I don't know your name."

Alastor smiled and took her hand to place a small kiss on her knuckles.

"My name is Alastor, darling."

Exile

For their disobedience, God expelled Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden.

Their physical condition changed as a result of having eaten the forbidden fruit; and just as God had promised, they became mortal beings.

God also told Adam.

"In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the land, for from it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you will return."

God also told Eve.

"you will give birth to your children in pain"

That's how they left the comforts of paradise.

After influencing Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, Lucifer began a rebellion in heaven.

However, Lucifer was arrested and expelled with Lilith to hell by the Archangel Michael.

Destined to live in the shadows of hell for their entire lives.

Since the exile, Adam and Eve had gone through many difficulties at the beginning.There were days when they did not eat, because in the Garden of Eden they fed on the fruits of the trees.

Adam couldn't let Eve go through that situation, maybe he could live like that but she couldn't.

Adam had to learn to harvest the land in order to grow crops on it.He also had to look for a place that could provide them with water,although Eve was the one who managed to find a lake near the place where they settled.

They had built a small and simple home to shelter themselves and after a while things got better for them.

Everything was going well and they finally got peace.

Adam returned home where Eve was waiting for him. He had been hunting all day and now he was tired.Hunting in this place was not as easy as in Eden because the animals no longer saw them as their superiors and also wanted to eat them.

Finally he arrived home and entered looking for his wife.

"Eve, I'm back where you are."

After a tiring day Adam enjoyed coming home and snuggling in the arms of his beautiful wife.

Eve, who had heard her husband's voice from the back of the house, ran inside to receive him.

"Adam, you're back."

She threw herself into his arms to hug him with a smile on her lips, Adam returned the hug and kissed her head lovingly.

"I missed you too, darling."

After a moment they separated and Adam gently took her face so he could kiss her.He planted a small kiss on her lips to which she responded with the same affection as him.

They separated and he looked at her with total adoration.

Eve moved away a little and took his hand.

"Let's go eat Adam so you can rest"

Adam nodded and let himself be guided by his wife to the place where they ate together every day.

While they were having dinner, Eve talked to him about everything she did that day, although it wasn't anything too interesting, Adam paid full attention to her stories.

After they finished dinner they went to a tree near their house that gave them a nice view of the stars at night.

It was the time of day when they were together without interruptions and they took advantage of it to sit together and look at the sky while Adam played for her.

Eve enjoyed listening to her husband as she rested her head on his shoulder.

"We should go back before it gets darker."

They weren't usually out when it was too dark because they knew there were animals lurking in the dark.

They walked home holding hands so as not to be separated.

They entered their home and entered their improvised room.

They lay down next to each other to sleep.

They wished each other sweet dreams and closed their eyes trying to sleep.

Both had arranged themselves so that they had their backs to each other so as not to see each other.

Although neither of them could fall asleep, the atmosphere between them felt uncomfortable and they did not know why.

It was too quiet until Adam turned to see his wife who had her back to him.

"Eve"

His voice was barely a whisper that caused her a small shiver that he noticed.He didn't want her to be scared so he made her look at him.

She looked at him with a small blush on her cheeks and her breathing hitched with nerves.

Adam noticed this and smiled, bringing his face closer to hers. When she didn't move away, he brought his lips to hers to kiss her.

That kiss was not like the others, it was desperate and needy although full of love for the other.

They separated slightly so they could breathe and looked at each other lovingly before joining their lips again, this time more passionate.

Adam positioned himself over her to look at her, she had red cheeks that made her look more beautiful, he caressed her cheek and joined their lips again.

Eve took his face in her hands to bring him closer to her while Adam stroked her hair.

Adam's hands began to descend to her waist making her tense.He pulled away to look at her with concern, he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable.

"Eve, calm down, I'm not going to hurt you, I can stop if that's what you want."

Eve looked away but Adam made her look him in the eye.

Eve caressed his cheek lovingly.

"Adam"

Her whisper was enough for him to join their lips again in a kiss, this time slower and full of love, although little by little it increased in intensity.

When he placed his hands on her waist again he felt her tense but this time she didn't push him away, yet he caressed her as if she were the most fragile and was going to break.

The silence of the night was invaded by small sighs of two people loving each other who felt safe in each other's arms.

I know it's very short but this has been one of my favorite chapters.

But I like there to be calm before the storm.

Harmonic Laments

In the Garden of Eden under a tree was the first man.

ADAM

He liked being in this place that brought back so many bad memories or at least he wanted to convince himself that those memories were bad.

Behind the tree was Lute, she was observing her boss from a short distance.She was somewhat curious why he seemed to like coming to this place before each extermination.

It was almost a tradition in which Adam asked her to accompany him to the Garden of Eden hours before the extermination, although she knew that he would prefer to go alone, it was the only condition that had been imposed on him to enter the garden,he always had to be accompanied by someone else.

And somehow she was the closest person to him.

Mostly he would come here to walk for hours in complete silence and then he would sit under that tree and play his guitar,although strangely those melodies were not the ones she was already used to hearing, these melodies were softer and calmer.

It caused her some pain to see her boss when they were in the garden.

He seemed totally different.

He wasn't the usual idiot.

Lute looked at Adam again, trying to examine him.

No doubt he liked this place but why?

It was a very beautiful garden but she couldn't find something that made it special.

Adam began to play a new melody and she recognized it as that beautiful melody that he always played before the extermination or on some occasions when he thought no one was listening.

She didn't know what was so special about that melody that made Adam play it too carefully.

She stayed listening to the soft melody, she hated to admit it but after listening to it so many times she had begun to like it.

Silence

When he stopped playing, a silence formed, maybe she should applaud or congratulate him for being very good, but she wouldn't do it for two reasons.

The first was that it was no secret that his boss had a very high ego and that would only make it worse.

And the second was that once he had given a few applauses and well, Adam had gotten upset saying that he didn't like applause.

So from then on she didn't do or say anything when he finished playing.She knew that what he said was a big lie but she would not investigate further, although she would like to know the reason for his way of being in the garden.

She heard a sigh from her boss and although it had been almost inaudible she had managed to hear clearly.

EVE

So it was because of her, his second wife, everything made sense then but if he said he hated her so much.

why did he seem to miss her?

Adam had been playing his guitar for some time while sitting under the tree that she liked the most.

A while ago she had gone for a walk so he had taken the opportunity to play,he liked her presence but sometimes he preferred to be alone and she understood.

He finished playing and he heard small applause, he looked up and saw her standing in front of him,the sun illuminated her making her look more beautiful.

Eve smiled at him and he felt his heart melt, without a doubt he loved that smile.

He stood up to approach her, although there was a clear difference in height, every time they were together they could look perfectly into each other's eyes.

He put his arms around her waist and smiled sweetly and lovingly.

She leaned down to kiss his cheek and then put her arms around him, resting her head on his chest.

Adam wanted to keep her by his side forever and let her know that she deserved the best and he was willing to give it to her.

He had kept that special memory forever, even if he wanted to forget it he couldn't or simply didn't want to.

He liked being in the garden because it was the only place where he had been happy and where he could rest from that damn mask he always wore.

Although he denied it, it hurt him that she was no longer by his side and he wanted her to return to him like before as if nothing had happened.

If she asked him, he would forgive her for everything even if she wasn't to blame.

He hated that melody because it was the one she loved the most and caused her the most pain, but he believed that if he stopped playing it he would forget about it.

Just remembering how he played for her and she applauded with a smile made things more difficult

Lute had clapped once and had gotten upset with her even though she knew it wasn't her fault she didn't know anything about that.

He let out a low sigh so Lute won't hear

"EVE"

He thought that with the exterminations he could see her again in hell or make sure that they will not kill her but he had not been able to find her.

Maybe she wasn't even still alive.

He put those thoughts aside and stood up.

The extermination would begin soon and he had to prepare the exorcists.

After all, this time they had not waited a full year to carry out another extermination.

☆゜・。❀。・゜♫♩ ❀❁❀ ♩♫゜・。❀。・゜★☆゜・。

In hell on the roof of the Hazbin Hotel, Eve was looking at the view of hell that the roof offered, although from time to time she looked at the sky.

In a few moments the exorcists would descend to carry out the extermination,everyone in the hotel had been preparing to attack and she was no exception.

She didn't want to do it because her husband was there with the exorcists, so she managed to convince Charlie and support the cannibals.

She didn't want to see him, it had been so long and maybe he would still hate her.

She didn't blame him after all, life was nothing but easy after she bit the apple.

She spent very little time in heaven before she was sent to hell but she had understood that everyone in heaven despised her.

She took her little lyre and began to play a melody that she knew very well and that he always played for her.

Nobody in hell knew who she was, not even the people at the hotel she was almost always with.

Not even Lucifer had recognized her, although it was logical because her appearance had changed a little and they had not seen each other since she ate the apple.

Although she didn't want him to recognize her, even though too much time had passed, she still held a certain resentment and hatred for him.

She decided to go back inside with the others and wait for the time of extermination.

Eve had seen how Adam fought with Alastor and Charlie, she knew she had to help her but something prevented her.

She decided not to intervene and help the others until Lucifer arrived.

Adam had been upset by the comments Lucifer had made about his first and second wives.

Lilith didn't even care but the bastard had dared to talk about Eve and that bothered him too much. He knew she hadn't been with that idiot or so he wanted to believe.

Adam was distracted for a moment when in the distance he saw a woman who looked so much like her and Lucifer took advantage of his distraction to attack him.

Lucifer would have killed him if Charlie hadn't intervened.

Eve had flown with her wings to where the others were, the closer she got she could hear Adam's voice clearly upset.

When she was close, she landed on the ground behind the others and smiled when she saw her husband who had not noticed her presence, there he was just a few steps away from him.

And then something came out of Adam's chest and made him fall

Eve watched in terror as Niffty stabbed him several times and the golden blood came out of her husband's back.

She screamed and ran towards him, not even caring that the others were looking at her in surprise.She didn't know that they were more surprised by her golden wings similar to Adam's or that she was next to him crying.

She carefully turned him around so he was looking at her. Adam looked at the figure in front of him and smiled.

"Eve"

Adam spoke in a small, almost inaudible whisper that managed to reach Lucifer's ears, who tensed instantly. Charlie looked at her father in confusion when she felt him tense and then looked at the scene in front of her.

She couldn't believe what she was seeing, why did she, who had been supporting her with the hotel, have wings similar to Adam's and why did she care about him?

Eve held her husband close to her as she sobbed. It had taken her so long to be with him and it was too late.

"Eve, I'm so sorry for everything that happened and what I said, I could never hate you, you are the most precious thing to me, please don't cry, you know how much I love your smile and I still made you stop smiling."

Eve denied and looked him in the eyes.

"It's my fault, I should have listened to you and stayed away from her, I shouldn't have eaten the fruit, I should have been a better mother to Cain and all our children, I should have looked for you and told you how much I love you, because is it true I love you with all my heart Adam forever"

Eve put her lips together in a soft little kiss full of love, they separated and Adam smiled at her,he had forgotten how much he loved kissing her.

"I love you too Eve more than anything,never forget it"

Adam closed his eyes and Eve hugged him even tighter.

"Adam please don't leave me, stay with me I will return to heaven and we will be together this time I will be a better wife please do not go"

Tears ran down her cheeks as she hugged him close to her chest.

Eve continued to cry on Adam's chest, trying to hear the non-existent beats of his heart.

Lucifer looked at Eve guiltily, she had eaten the apple but he had offered it to her, he never thought about it again and he lived happily with Lilith but she left him, he didn't even know Eve was in hell or he would have looked for her and now it was too late to ask for forgiveness.

The beggining

How should I start, I have never told a story.

I was born in South Carolina on July 14, 1905.I was lucky to be born into a good family with loving parents who adored me.My father had a very important business in South Carolina that allowed us to live comfortably so I never worried about money.

And my Mother was in charge of directing some foundations with noble causes and things like that.

So I spent my entire childhood alone, I mean I never lacked anything but I felt too alone.

When I turned 15 years old I decided to move with my grandmother to New Orleans, precisely to Louisiana.

My grandmother was the only person who had really been there for me since I was born so I adore her very much.

Living with her would be the best for me, maybe that way I could find my way away from my parents.

-February 29, 1924-

I was walking through the streets towards my grandmother's store, it was a small place where she repaired people's clothes or something like that.

My parents sent money so she wouldn't work but she still did it

I would like to be like her. I have never had a job in my life because it seems like I can't do anything.

I arrived at the store and opened the door which made the small bell ring above it.

Grandma came out from behind the door that said "employees only" and greeted me with a smile.

"Dear, what are you doing here?"She came up to me and I kissed her cheek.

"I came to bring you something to eat, Grandma, I don't want you to faint."

She smiled and squeezed my cheek.

"you are a true angel"

I laughed lightly and took her hand.

"It's the least I can do after all you let me live with you"

My grandmother sighed and denied

"You are my granddaughter and I also like to have some company."

After she ate we were talking today it was one of those days when there weren't too many people.

We closed the store and headed home, in recent years it was not very safe to walk at night

We lived a few blocks from the store but we still didn't close very late.

"Dear, I wanted to tell you something for a while now."

I looked at her as she opened the door to the house.

"Of course, that's what you want to talk about."

She sat on the couch and motioned for me to sit next to her so I sat with her.

"Well, dear, I decided to close the store, you know lately I get too tired and maybe I need to take a break."

I took his hand and shook my head

"No, grandma, you can't do that. What will happen to Mr. James? He always fixes his suits in the store. We can't do that to him."

The real reason I cared was because Mr. James who was Grandma's most frequent customer had a cute son that I wouldn't mind kissing.

Apparently my grandmother knew that because she looked at me with a raised eyebrow and a mocking smile.

"Isn't that Noah's father?"

I had met Noah a year after I arrived here one day when I went to my grandmother's store and we became good friends although later I developed feelings for him.

I looked at her feigning surprise.

"What seriously? I didn't know."

She rolled her eyes and scoffed at me.

"Well I won't close it with one condition"

I looked at her nervously, I never liked her conditions.

"You take care of the store"

I looked at her in amazement

"But grandmother, you know that I have never worked and I don't even know how to sew as well as you."

She had taught me how to sew and although I had learned everything she taught me I was not as good as her.

"Then you'll get better over time."

She took my hand and gave it a light squeeze.

"Besides, you know that me and Helen don't get along well."

Helen was a girl a year older than me who worked with my grandmother and who by the way my grandmother loved like a daughter.

"Come on, honey, don't be stubborn like you, father. I don't think you two get along so badly."

I looked at her with half-lidded eyes with a look like you're kidding me.

"I remind you that he left me locked in the employee room all night."

She rolled her eyes mockingly and looked at me with a smile.

"For God's sake, it was only ten minutes in which we went to eat."

I put a hand on my chest to feign indignation.

"I'm very offended that you don't believe me, your own granddaughter."

She rolled her eyes and got up from the couch.

"You should think about it dear"

-March 25, 1916-

I sighed tiredly and finished arranging the clothes that would be collected that day.

A few weeks had passed and I had started taking charge of the store and although it didn't seem to be that difficult, it really tired me too much.

I decided it was time for a well-deserved rest.

I turned on the small radio and sat behind the counter while listening to the soft music the radio played.

The music stopped playing and was replaced by a voice.

"Well friends, thank you for listening to our broadcast, don't forget to tune in tomorrow"

I turned off the radio and sighed, now there was only silence but I don't like listening to other broadcasts something in the presenter's voice makes me feel calm.

I didn't know I could like someone just by hearing his voice, maybe he was even an old and wrinkled man.

A chill ran down my spine just thinking about it.Great, now I'm in love with radio presenters who are probably wrinkled old men.

But you can blame me, I'm very alone, I mean I'm with my grandmother and her cat but I need another type of company.

The bell at the entrance rang announcing the arrival of a customer and not just any customer.

NOAH

For God's sake, he looked like an angel or maybe it was just the sunlight coming through the window.

He was a very handsome boy, his beautiful red hair, his beautiful tanned skin and his beautiful green eyes that I like so much.

"Hey, are you listening to me?"

I shook my head to look at the boy in front of me who was looking at me with confusion and then I realized that I had been lost in thought again.

I blushed with embarrassment and cleared my throat nervously.

"I'm sorry, I was thinking, what is offered to you?"

He looked at me and laughed lightly.

"Don't worry sweetheart, I came for my father's suits."

Of course I knew what he was about but I didn't want to seem like a stalker.

"Of course, allow me a moment.

I walked away from the counter and entered the warehouse where all the clothes were hung carefully to prevent them from getting wrinkled.

I looked for the bags and took them to the counter where Noah was waiting patiently.

"Here are the bags"

He took the clothes with great care and placed money on the counter, took the money to put it in the cash register.

I noticed he looked me up and down and then smiled at me.

"My father said I had to leave this for you to fix and I'll come pick it up in five days

"I'll come pick them up and maybe we can go out, it's been a long time since you and I went out."

He held out a bag for me to take and when I took it our hands touched for a moment.

"Well, I'll see you in five days, sweetheart."

He waved goodbye and I smiled as I also raised my hand to say goodbye.

I watched as he walked away and I sighed

I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't count the days

Today I had received few clients so I hadn't had much work.

Helen came out from behind the store and looked at me with a dirty look.

I rolled my eyes and forced a smile.

I didn't want to start a conversation but it would be more awkward if neither of us spoke.

I heard the bell ring as the door opened and a person entered.

I sighed, relieved that I didn't have to talk to her, and focused on the person who had just entered.

"Hello, good afternoon, how can I help you?"

I smiled at the man in front of me as I watched him carefully.

He didn't seem to be older than me although he was taller than me,he had nice dark skin and beautiful brown eyes that looked at me attentively.

I think he had noticed I was looking at him.

The door opened again, Noah entered and approached the counter, ignoring the man in front of me.

"Hello sweetheart, are you ready?"

I was about to respond but the man in front of me cleared his throat softly.

"Sorry friend, but I got there first, you can flirt with her later."

Noah looked at him with annoyance and nodded.

I forced a smile at the man, trying to ignore how much his comment had upset me.

"How can I help you sir?"

He looked at me carefully and placed a coat on the counter.

"I need you to fix this miss

I took it very carefully and examined it; it didn't seem like anything very serious but it was torn on the left sleeve and buttons were missing.

It would definitely take me a while to fix.

"When will you need this coat, sir?"

He looked at me with that smile that he had not erased since he arrived and he spoke.

"I'll need it the day after tomorrow, I hope it's not a problem, dear."

I looked at him trying to keep a smile, I couldn't have it until the day after tomorrow because even though it wasn't much to do I still had more clients waiting.

"Well sir, I'm afraid I won't be able to meet that period of time since I have a lot of work."

"I'm sure that if it's nothing serious it won't take long."

He was trying to smile as he analyzed my response, then Noah cleared his throat.

"Sorry friend, she already said she doesn't have time"

I sighed gratefully to Noah and looked at the man waiting for him to leave.

But instead he just looked at me trying to keep his smile clearly irritated by Noah's intervention and then he spoke again.

"Well friend, if you weren't here to take up her time, she wouldn't be postponing her responsibilities."

Noah gritted his teeth and I just looked at the man with annoyance.

What a cocky guy.

"Don't worry sir, of course she will make sure your clothes look like new."

I looked at Helen with indignation, how she dared to speak for me.

"Well, I'm glad that you take charge of your job unlike this lady."

After the man left, I looked with annoyance at Helen who was looking at me with mockery.

"Why did you do that, we have too much work and that man didn't ask for it in advance

She looked at me with a raised eyebrow and her smile widened.

"Look, honey, your grandmother has worked too hard for this store for you to come and start arguing with a customer just why you want to leave with that little boy."

I looked at her with contempt

"I'll take care of that guy's coat so you can go with your boyfriend but you'll take care of the rest and by the way I won't say anything to your grandmother since she is a good person but you owe me a favor."

After that little mishap I went out with Noah to walk around the city before nightfall, I didn't want to worry my grandmother.

Noah took me to the entrance of my house and said goodbye to me.

I was about to go in when he took my hand.

"Wait, I want to tell you something, I know we haven't known each other for a long time but I feel like I've known you all my life and I wanted to know if you would like to go out with me as something more than just a friendship."

I looked at Noah in surprise, I would never have expected him to have feelings for me.

We were silent for a moment, I honestly didn't know what to say, I was happy but very confused.

"Look, if you don't feel the same way, I'll understand, I just don't want to ruin our friendship."

I took Noah's hand and made him look at me.

"I like you too Noah."

He sighed in relief and smiled

"Then you will let me court you"

It's the first chapter and it already seems like filler

It's not a big deal but it's what I want for the first chapter, in the next chapter there will be more drama

I think I'll give her a name because I have a hard time writing y/n or ___; and maybe it'll be an oc to make things easier for me 🫠

This chapter should have been published last Sunday but when it was almost finished I realized my mistakes with the dates and I had to rewrite it

The thing is, I thought Alastor had died at 40 and when I investigated again he said it was at 30 :).

It had been a while since they last saw Lilith and things between them had improved,although there were times when they argued, they sought to resolve their differences.

And after a long time they were happy.

Or was it what they believed

On the other hand, Lilith and Lucifer had been planning how to approach Eve to offer her the apple.

After everything that had happened they knew that she would not accept anything from Lilith. Furthermore, Adam hardly left his wife's side, as he did not want Lilith to try to do something against Eve.

Adam and Eve were at Eve's favorite place to admire the garden there were few moments when they had true peace of mind, so they made the most of those moments.

Eve was lying on the grass looking at the sky while Adam played music for her,what made this moment more special for her.

Adam paused and looked at her with a smile.

"Eve, you're not looking at the sun again, right?"

Eve turned her head to look at him.

"Now I do." Eve smiled warmly at him.

Adam rolled his eyes as he felt his heart warm at her words but tried not to show it.

"You really are in a very good mood today, right."

In the last few days Eve had had several mood swings that Adam had to tolerate.

"I'm hungry, Adam." Eve sat up to look at her husband.

"And I should care" Adam continued playing while Eve looked at him offended.

Eve gave him a light push.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?"He looked at Eve who had a pout on her face.

"Okay I'll get my food"Eve stood up and started walking.

Adam sighed.

"Wait Eve, I'm sorry, don't move from here, I'll get what you want."

Eve smiled and sat back down.

"I expect at least a small compensation from you dear"He looked at her with a mocking smile and Eve just rolled her eyes.

"I'll keep it in mind."

Adam kissed his wife's forehead and began to walk away.

Adam had walked to the tree where he knew Eve's favorite fruit was and gathered some.

"Maybe I should bring her different fruits just in case."

Adam sighed and set about picking more fruit.

Creak

He heard the crack of a branch behind him and sighed in frustration.

"Eve, I told you to wait, you're so impatient, woman."

Small giggles were heard behind him which made him turn around.

"Well I'm not Eve but I don't have patience either"

Adam gritted his teeth.

"What do you want Lilith?" Adam looked at her with distaste.

"Why do you assume I want something?."Lilith placed a hand on her chest to feign indignation.

"I do not have time for this"

Adam turned to walk away but Lilith stopped him.

"Now you let yourself be dominated by her"

Adam looked at her with annoyance.

"I do not know what are you talking about"

Lilith was made to laugh

"You really care about her and you look so pathetic, it would be a shame if something happened to your beloved Eve."

Adam grabbed her wrist tightly.

"Shut up, I forbid you to say that,don't try to threaten me ,nothing will happen to her while she is with me."

Lilith released her grip and looked at him with a mocking smile.

"Well if I were you I'd hurry back"

Adam swallowed as he remembered leaving Eve alone.

"Or something could happen to her"

Eve had been waiting for Adam to return and was beginning to get desperate.

After a while of waiting, she began to hear a light melody that could be heard in the distance.

She was curious to know where that sound was coming from but Adam had said to wait for him here.

Maybe if she took a little look and came back before Adam he wouldn't notice.

She stood up and started to follow that sound. She was walking for a few minutes and was starting to get tired of walking.

Maybe she had just imagined that sound and had been walking for nothing.She sighed and decided to go back to where she was or Adam would realize she had wandered away.

"EVE"

She was about to leave when she heard someone calling her.

"Adam?"Eve looked for him but she couldn't see him.

"This isn't funny Adam."Eve began to get upset when she didn't receive a response, she turned around ready to leave.

"EVE"

Eve was starting to get scared and nervous.

"Adam, seriously, this isn't funny."

"Eve come here, I won't hurt you"

She was confused as she tried to guess where the voice was coming from.

"Eve, I'm here in the center of the garden"

Eve looked at the tree in the center of the garden and carefully approached it, looking at it carefully.

"Eve where is your husband?"The voice was clearer now but I still didn't know where it was coming from.

"He went to look for food"Her voice shook a little from nerves.

"Don't be afraid Eve, I don't want to hurt you."

Eve calmed down a little but remained alert.

"Why can't I see you"

There was a moment of silence until a light laugh was heard.

"You want to see me"

Eve nodded.

From the top of the tree a white snake began to descend to a branch near Eve.

Eve looked at the snake confused.

"I didn't know that animals could talk"

"Well Eve, there are many things you don't know but I can help you know more."

Eve looked at the snake suspiciously.

"Why would you help me?"

The snake lowered itself to Eve's height to look into her eyes.

"Because you are a very special person and it is not fair that you do not know the truth"

There was a moment of silence as Eve thought about what to say.

"But how will you help me?"

Eve had a bad feeling but she was too curious.

"Do you know the reason why you should not eat the fried food from this tree?"

Eve nodded and looked at the fruit hanging from the tree.

"It is forbidden, God says that if we eat that fruit we will die"

The snake laughed.

"Well, Eve, that's a lie.He does not want you two to eat that fruit because then you will be like him."

Eve blinked in confusion.

"I don't think that's true. If God told us that's why it must be bad."

Eve moved a little away from the tree and the snake.

"Come on, Eve, eat the fruit, nothing will happen to you, trust me and you will know everything you want."

The snake offered her a large, shiny red apple and she took it in her hands, looking at it carefully.

Eve looked at the apple, it really didn't seem dangerous, it looked like any normal fruit.She knew that they should not eat the fruit but, if what the snake said was true, although Adam would be upset if she ate the fruit.The snake noticed her hesitation and spoke.

"Don't worry about him, if he really loves you he won't be bothered by a small bite."

Eve brought the apple to her mouth.

"A little bite won't hurt"

Eve bit into the apple and a scream made her drop the fruit that fell to the grass.

Adam hurriedly ran to the cliff, hoping that she had listened to him and hadn't moved from there.

When he reached the cliff he did not see his wife in the place where he had left her.

He began to get nervous and could feel his hands and legs shaking.

"Eve where are you?"

He started shouting her name to see if she would come but it didn't seem to be working.

"Eve please isn't it funny"His voice shook slightly as he tried to find her.

Maybe she had just moved because he had been late so he decided to look for her all over the garden.

He visited the places she frequented the most but did not find her. There was only one last place she could be and she hoped it was there.

He ran to the center of the garden to the forbidden tree and then he saw her there under the tree with a fruit in her hands.

He sighed with relief when he saw that she was fine until he noticed that the fruit he had in his hands was similar to that of the tree and his nerves returned to him when he saw her bite it.

"NOT EVE!"

He screamed and saw her drop the fruit that fell to the grass and she looked at him.

He approached her with big steps but she backed away scared.

"Eve why, I told you not to come near this place"

He took her by the shoulders, shaking her slightly without hurting her.

Eve let out small sobs and Adam felt his heart break.

"No, don't cry darling"

Eve looked down as Adam processed what had just happened, he knew it was forbidden to eat from that tree for a reason but he didn't know clearly why.

And if they punished her or took her away from him for disobeying, he couldn't lose her.

"Adam, what will happen? They will take me away from you."

Eve sobbed while she had her hands on her face to avoid looking at her husband because now she had realized that they were naked.

"No, I won't allow it."He tried to reassure her but he didn't know what to do or maybe he knew and didn't want to accept it.

Adam looked at the apple that was in the grass with the bite mark that Eve had given it.

He lifted the fruit and watched it as he swallowed the output.Eve looked at her husband and tried to snatch the fruit from him.

"What are you doing"She demanded while trying to snatch it away.

"What do you think, Eve?."Adam tried to bite the fruit but Eve gave him a push that made it slip out of his hands.

"Not why would you?"She asked him as tears fell down her cheeks

Adam wiped his tears and lifted the fruit.

"For you"

Lilith and Lucifer watched everything from behind a bush.

Adam had taken a bite of the apple without Eve having to convince him and now they were seen hugging while she cried in his arms.

"That was too easy."Lilith smiled as she watched the scene.

Lucifer sighed and looked at the couple, his plan had worked but why didn't he feel satisfied?.

The earth began to shake and he heard a voice he knew very well.

"Shit"

Never make promises you won't keep, like me.

I promised to update what I'm writing for Alastor and I haven't but I've really been busy this week;It's not an excuse but I hope to adjust my schedule this week and publish the first chapter that I'm already writing.

Maybe I'll update Adam's story during the week and Alastor's story on Saturdays and Sundays.

I wrote it so quickly that I didn't check it and I hope it doesn't have any errors.

How had it gotten to this point when their lives had become a total disaster?

Things got out of hand and now she was lying in the forest looking at the thousands of stars in the sky while she was dying.

It was certainly a beautiful sight, but it would be the last time she would be able to appreciate it.

She turned her head to look at the corpse next to her.

A moan left her lips as she reached out to brush away the strands covering her husband's face.He looked so calm and peaceful she would have thought he was asleep if it weren't for the hole caused by the bullet in his head,she was so envious of him just now at least he had died instantly not like her who was suffering.

Tears came out of her eyes, because of the physical and emotional pain she was feeling at this moment.

If only she had walked away from him when they warned her but they could blame her, she loved him with all her heart, he had been the only person who had listened to her when she needed him most.

And now she was going to die

Still she didn't care and she didn't regret what she had done for him, she would definitely do it again because that's what love was about, right?

Voices were heard in the distance, maybe they could save her or it was too late.

Her eyes began to close and the last thing she saw was that beautiful starry sky that she loved so much.

Adam was walking through the Garden of Eden, it had been a long time since he had been there, although he was not alone, Lute was behind him ensuring their well-being which was ridiculous since they were the only ones thereAlthough his presence did not bother him, he would prefer to be alone.

So he had asked her "nicely" to follow him at a good distance and he would pretend she wasn't there.

Lute reluctantly accepted and followed him from a completely acceptable distance.

Adam looked wistfully at the garden as he walked. Although he had so many good memories, there were some bitter ones.

He arrived at the lake, it was incredible how nothing had changed since the last time he was there.

He sat there for a while before continuing walking until he reached that place that was still just like the day they left.

He entered the interior of what used to be his home and saw a lot of things.

The first guitar he had ever had and he had made himself,the knife he used to cut the fruit with

Various things made with flowers.

Adam felt a lump in his throat and a chill running down his spine.

There were too many things, bracelets, intertwined flowers that formed chains and of course those stupid flower crowns.

And among all of them there was one in particular, that crown made of white carnations.He took it in his hands and looked at it for a moment. There was a special memory that, even if he wanted to, wouldn't leave his mind.

It had been a while since Lilith had left him and he felt completely alone. Maybe he would be alone for his entire life or so he thought.

One morning when he woke up he saw in front of him a small figure sleeping with its back to him.

Lilith

It was the first thing he thought when he heard someone speak to him.

"Adam, she is not your first wife. I have decided to create a new wife for you this time made from one of your ribs so that things do not happen again So take care of her because I won't make another one."

Adam nodded. "I will, I appreciate it"

Adam observed very carefully the woman in front of him who caused him some discomfort when he noticed her resemblance to Lilith.

She moved slightly and opened her eyes trying to get used to the sunlight.She sat up and rubbed her eyes before her gaze fell on Adam.

There was a moment of silence until Adam spoke.

"Hello, I'm Adam and I'm your husband."His voice had a hint of nervousness.

She looked at him confused and blinked a few times in confusion.

"My husband, what is that?"Adam sighed.

"It's kind of like...uh you have to be with me so I can protect you"She nodded, seeming to understand.

"What's your name?" Adam asked her as she seemed to be thinking.

"My name?" Adam was beginning to get desperate but tried to calm down.

"So I guess you don't have one but don't worry I'll give you a name."

She nodded with a smile.

What could he call her, maybe any name would be fine.

She deserved a great name after all she was his wife and she couldn't settle for anything less,she was supposed to bring life into the world and then an idea came to his mind and it was perfect.

"Eve, your name will be Eve, do you like it?"

Eve nodded with excitement and a smile."It is very beautiful"

"Of course, darling, I chose it."

Adam was proud of himself for the beautiful name he had given her and that she had loved.

It had been a while and he had become more and more comfortable with Eve, he had simply come to notice that she was a very kind and innocent person.

Every day their relationship grew stronger and Adam began to feel more and more attracted to her, although he deduced that it was only admiration and appreciation for her.

He was so wrong

It was on one of the few afternoons that they went to the lake and sat under a tree that provided good shade for them there they used to sit just to talk, look at the sky and lately Eve used to collect flowers and make things with what she picked.

"Hey Adam I made something for you."Adam looked at her and noticed a small crown made with some of the flowers she had picked.

Adam took it and looked at Eve confused.

"White carnations?"Adam raised an eyebrow and Eve nodded with a smile.

"And why did you choose these?"Adam asked, wanting to know why he had chosen those specific flowers.

"Well you already know what they mean, I thought I'd give them to you"

Eve's cheeks were red with embarrassment and Adam felt his heart beating rapidly.

"Well I love it"

Adam smiled for a moment before shaking his head and sighing.

He looked at the crown for a moment and decided to put it in one of the pockets of his clothes.

He left that place and continued walking, he could still feel Lute's presence behind him.

He was walking to a place in the garden, this specific place was the one that brought back the most bittersweet memories.It was perhaps the most beautiful place in the garden because it was near a cliff It also provided a beautiful view of almost the entire garden. It used to be her favorite place where she always escaped when he was an idiot.

He sat on the grass looking at the view while Lute sat under a tree away from the cliff but close enough to keep an eye on Adam.

Adam took off his mask to feel the breeze, it was so relaxing it made him want to stay there forever although it wouldn't be the same without her.

He sighed in frustration,he couldn't get her out of his thoughts after so much time had passed.

He looked to his side and a flower caught his attention, what was its name?,he thought for a moment but he didn't remember the flower was so familiar but he didn't remember its name, maybe Lute knew.

"Hey Lute come here quickly"At Adam Lute's call he quickly got up and approached him.

"You need something sir"

Adam pointed to the flower and Lute looked at him confused.

Adam sighed.

“I want to know what kind of flower it is.”

Lute looked at him strangely, perhaps he had called her to find out the name of a flower, he felt bad or he was sick.

"You either know it or you don't." His voice was dry despite being so curious.

"Ah yes sir, it's a Sunflower"

A Sunflower,now he understood why it seemed so familiar.

He had argued with Eve after she approached the tree in the center of the garden but she didn't understand that he only wanted to protect her.

He was looking for her for a while until he found her sitting near the cliff hugging her legs close to her.

He approached her and sat next to her, her cheeks and eyes were red she had clearly been crying.

They were silent until Adam saw a flower, smiled and decided to talk to her.

"Hey Eve, I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't have yelled at you, but I had already told you to stay away from that tree."

Eve said nothing and Adam sighed.

"You know Sunflowers, Eve"

She looked at him and denied.

Adam smiled now that he had her attention.

"Well Eve, sunflowers have the ability to move to seek sunlight,They look for sunlight at all times, so they stop moving when they achieve it and that makes them so special."

Eve looked in amazement at Adam who was smiling having achieved his goal.

"That is why they are the symbol of the sun and also represent love and admiration,you know why I'm telling you this, Eve."

Eve denied and Adam smiled as he took her hand.

"I am a Sunflower Eve and you know why"

Adam gave Eve a small kiss on the lips, leaving her cheeks completely red.

"You are my sunshine Eve and I can't be far from your light"

Eve smiled and caressed his cheek.

"You're an idiot Adam but I love you."

Adam stood up and stepped on the sunflower, it was time to forget about her.

After having trained the exorcists for the next extermination, he went to his room and kept the crown of carnations in the back of his closet.

At least it was the only thing he would keep of her.

In hell there was a woman sitting outside the entrance to the Hazbin Hotel,she had a flower in her hand that she admired with a smile.

A distant memory came to mind

"Well look, carnations mean pure love, innocence and purity and that's what I feel for you so that's why I chose carnations."

She let out a small bitter laugh and crushed the carnation in her hands.

"How pathetic"

"Hey dear are you coming Charlie has something to tell us"

"I'll be there in a moment, Al"

It had been so long since she had stopped thinking about him and that was the best thing, he was in heaven and she was in hell.

Confessions

Eve hadn't seen Lilith in a while and she really believed that was for the best so she started spending more time with Adam and she honestly really enjoyed his company.

She had never doubted her husband again although there were days when she really wanted to ask him if what Lilith had said was true.

There were afternoons when they would go for a walk together holding hands

This afternoon they had decided to go to the lake to swim for a while until they decided to go out and sit under the shade of a tree.

Adam began to play his guitar, that instrument had been a "gift" from God after he saw the instrument that Adam had improvised a while ago and it was so amazing that Adam wouldn't let go.Although sometimes he played beautiful melodies for her and only her.

Eve listened attentively to her husband playing while she made wreaths from the flowers around her, this was one of the few moments when they had true peace of mind.

Adam stopped playing and Eve applauded as usual.

"You really have talent, Adam."

Adam smiled.

"Well, I think you're only saying that because you're my wife."

Eve laughed lightly and shrugged to which Adam gasped in offense causing a laugh from Eve.

"You are the worst"Adam crossed his arms and pouted like a little boy.

"Ouch, that hurt me." Eve put her hand on his chest, feigning pain at his words.

Adam rolled his eyes and felt Eve's hand on his.

"I really think you're the best, I mean you care so much about me and you do a lot of things for me and I feel like I owe you too much."

Adam finally looked at Eve, the sun behind her illuminated her, giving her a truly angelic appearance, her blonde hair and her green eyes lit up, giving her a beautiful view in front of him.He had never seen Lilith the same way, not even when everything was working between them.

"Oh Eve you don't owe me anything I care about you because you are my wife and I love you"

Eve smiled and kissed his cheek. "I love you too."

They stayed under the tree for a while longer looking at the sky until Adam spoke.

"Let's go for a walk, darling"Adam stood up and extended his hand to his wife to help her up.

They walked for a while through almost the entire garden until they reached the place where Lilith was supposed to be. Eve got nervous thinking about that, she didn't want to see her, not now,Adam didn't seem to notice his wife's nervousness and continued walking.

Creak

Adam stopped when he heard a noise behind them and turned quickly, putting his wife behind him to protect her it was probably nothing but he had to be alert.

In the shadow under a tree he managed to see violet eyes that he knew well and that at some point he had adored like an idiot.

Finally she came out of the shadows and he could see her again in a long time there was the person he least wanted to see and that was because he held so much resentment towards her.

She approached with a mischievous smile and Adam made Eve stay even further behind him.

"Hey, it's been so long since we saw each other, Eve."

Eve gulped as she felt Adam tense up. Adam looked at Lilith with a frown and suspicion while Lilith smiled at them.

"Oh come on,don't tell me that you were silent."Lilith smiled at them with malice and mockery.

"What do you want Lilith?"Adam spoke with a dry tone making Lilith let out a small laugh.

"Anyway,I don't want to talk to you but to Eve."

Adam tensed at Lilith's words and made Eve step back further.

"My wife has nothing to talk to you about, stay away from her Lilith"

Lilith pretended to pout.

"Oh come on Eve are you really letting this idiot speak for you?"

Eve came out from behind Adam's back and glared at Lilith.

"I'm here, what do you want, Lilith?"Her tone of voice was dry despite being completely nervous.

"Oh Eve, why did that tone make me think we were friends?"Lilith put her hand on her chest and pouted.

Adam, who was now behind Eve, was so confused, maybe they knew each other but Eve had never mentioned it, maybe when she was going to walk he was with her.

"We're not friends after everything you said, you expect us to be."Eve spoke as she looked Lilith in the eyes without looking away.

"Oh Eve what I said was true I only want the best for you and Adam is not in that category"Lilith smiled innocently at Eve while she gritted her teeth.

"You're lying, you just want me to doubt my husband. If that were true, he would have told me."

Lilith laughed making Eve even more upset.

"Oh Eve, so sweet and innocent, if Adam hasn't told you the truth, that's because he's a big coward. I'm surprised you haven't realized, after all, you're his wife."Lilith looked at them mockingly and made a face.

"I guess they are made for each other, they are both liars, you know, you and I are so similar, although I would never be with that idiot, I'm sure that Adam doesn't love you and the only thing he can see when he sees you is me, after all, I'm better than you."

Slap

Eve had slapped Lilith and was now looking down on her while Lilith had her hand on her cheek. Lilith raised her hand to slap Eve but she stopped her hand.

"Listen carefully, Lilith."

Eve spat her name in disgust.

"You and I are not equal and you are not better than me, you think you are better than me and you try to make me doubt my husband and then you come to tell me that he thinks of you when he sees me If you were better than me, heaven would not have created me and would have come to look for you, but look what happened, they replaced you.So don't think it's a big deal and don't talk like that about me or my husband again, don't you care if we're liars?Get over it you already left it no,now you can keep your dirty, disgusting mouth shut and stay away from us"

Lilith was speechless as she looked at Eve with annoyance and Adam was confused. He didn't know Eve could have that temperament.

"Let's go Adam"

Eve maintained an annoyed expression as she grabbed her husband's hand and dragged him away from Lilith.

"Little bitch."Lilith spat in annoyance as she watched them walk away, this wouldn't stay like this.

After being far enough away from Lilith, Eve let go of her husband's hand and continued walking while muttering things that Adam didn't quite understand.

Adam was so confused and upset, first he didn't understand how Lilith said that she and Eve knew each other and on the other hand he was upset by Lilith's words and why Eve,she hadn't told him anything, although he hadn't told her anything about Lilith either.

They went their separate ways and Adam decided to go next to the tree near the lake, that was his favorite place when he was looking for peace.

He didn't know where Eve was but maybe it wasn't the time to look for her. He began to play his guitar while he reflected on what had happened.

He was playing some melodies for a while when he finished he heard applause,he looked up and met the smile of Eve who was applauding. Adam smiled back and stood up.

"Eve."His voice was barely a whisper.

"Before you say anything, I wanted to apologize, I shouldn't have told you everything."

Eve looked down while playing with her hands.

"No, Eve, I should have told you everything too"

Eve smiled and took his hand.

"Well we can start talking now."

Adam nodded and they sat near the lake looking at their reflection in the water and for a moment there was silence.

"So where should we start?"Adam spoke as he looked at Eve.

"Well Lilith mentioned something about being the first woman."

Adam sighed.

"Okay then, if you want to start from there, I'll tell you everything."

"And then she started saying that you were an idiot, that I shouldn't listen to you and that I had to make my own decisions."

Adam had told him everything about Lilith and their separation and Eve began to tell him how she had met Lilith and why she was going to walk alone in the afternoons as well as the last conversation she had had with her.

"That day when I came back early I wanted to ask you if it was true but I was afraid to know"Eve looked down with a shy smile.

"Look at me Eve."

Adam lifted her chin so she could look him in the eyes.

"It's not your fault, I wasn't honest with you either, but I didn't want you to leave me after you knew the truth. I didn't want to lose you because I care a lot about you."

Eve smiled and caressed his cheek.

"Oh Adam, I'll never leave you. I think I've told you that many times. I couldn't stay away from you."

Adam kissed her forehead and he pulled her into his arms to hold her close to him and make sure she was really there and that it wasn't just a dream.

"I would do anything for you Eve."

Eve laughed lightly and Adam kissed her head lovingly.

I would give anything for you darling it is a promise.

And for a moment they were happy in each other's arms although that happiness would not last forever.

"And what did you see?"

Lucifer had been spying on Adam and Eve waiting for the right moment to offer the apple to Eve so he gasped when he saw them hugging.

"Well it seems like they really love each other"

Lilith sighed.

"I told you it wouldn't be easy"

Lucifer kissed Lilith's cheek and smiled.

"Don't worry, darling, it will work, I'm sure."

So I like reading things about Alastor but I'm writing an Adam story so I'm thinking about doing an Alastor story but I'm not sure yet.

I hope you enjoy this chapter I think I didn't like it hahaha and I wrote it.

And in case you haven't noticed, I'm a firm believer that Adam did love Eve.
