Beth and Daryl come across a white wooden house nestled in the woods while looking for shelter from an oncoming storm and a herd of agitated walkers. With Alexandria too far to reach before nightfall, they decide to stay the night. Inside they find a wooden box containing a stack of old love letters with a note saying they hope the story contained within will help them to realise just how powerful hope and love truly are. Beth convinces Daryl to read them with her and they find more than just an old love story hidden within the pages. Could this be the thing that will finally bring them together? I am still going on this book binding thing and practice certainly helps 😂 here's Nature, Nurture, Heaven and Home. Now that I look at it I can't help but feel like the cover is v serious and looks like some old academic book lol but I was trying to bring in the map I used on Two for the Road

Anyways, since I now can make things that don't look terrible, I'd like to make an open offer to my fellow Bethyl writers to bind your fics & mail them to you because it's really cool to hold your own book in your hands. The requirements would be:

A collection of one shots -or- completed story under 200k words that you wrote

Must live in the US and be 18+

Be okay with me making a copy for myself

Bad went to worse when she swerved to miss a Doe and her Fawn, and now she finds herself with her car in a ditch in the middle of nowhere. Her only hope is to try and make it on foot back to the roadhouse she passed a mile or two back.

Moonshine Awards 2023~!

It's nearly that time of year again!

Here's the schedule for the Moonshine Awards 2023!

January 1st -- Nominations Open

January 15th -- Nominations Close

January 18th -- Voting Begins

February 1st -- Voting Ends

February 9th -- Winners Announced

Here's a refresher for the rules for nominating fics and fanart, which are the same as last year:

There is no limit to how many fics can be nominated per category.

Most categories have one for Completed works and one for In Progress works. Completed works must have been completed between January 1st, 2023 and December 31st, 2023. Works In Progress must have been updated at least once between January 1st, 2023 and December 31st, 2023.

If there is only one category, nominated fics can be either Complete or WIP.

Fics can be nominated in multiple categories.

First Place winners of previous years’ categories are ineligible for nomination. Second and Third Place winners are still eligible.

Yearly “Exclusive” categories are open for fics from any year, regardless of previous wins.

Authors are limited to ONE fic nominated per category, so choose wisely.

Please nominate a specific piece of fan art for the Fan Art categories, preferably with a link to the source. We will NOT count general artist nominations for any category except Artist of the Year.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us. And remember: you can nominate as many and as often as you want, so get your list ready!

The church on the hill, Sacre-Coeur is haunted by La Dame Blanche, the spirit of a 'white lady'. Her ghostly image has been seen in the high towers in the depths of the night. Flowing white hair and skin as pale as the white stone used to built the church, she appears to deliver death if any unkindness is paid towards her or the innocent. For those who treat her with kindness, she grants safe passage to enter the church and pray at the altar. Tonight, Daryl Dixon will be taken to La Dame Blanche to pray for himself, Laurent and Isabelle to escape safely from Paris and continue their journey towards The Nest. Coming face to face with La Dame Blanche is about to give him the shock of his life.

The bethyl stories have really slowed down to almost nothing recently and it makes me so sad. Thank goodness for moonshineshacks! I know fandoms don’t go on forever but I’m not ready 😭

Don't worry! This is a pretty common cycle, honestly. There are always periods of very few fics and then there will be periods of a lot of fics being posted/updated. Doesn't mean the fandom is dying :)

Not only is moonshineshacks very active, but also gneebee, galadrieljones, Olpie09, naturegoddess210, Pipergirl17, Aireabella, and plenty of others! And as summer goes into full swing and the holidays approach once again, you'll notice even more authors and new fics popping up.
